Meanwhile, GT5's cockpit crew are much more accurate about interior details. One thing I don't like about it though, is the brightness of some cockpits is too low. The only reason that I can shift manually in my NSX is because of the engine sound and some guesswork. I cannot see the redline of that car for most of the time. If GT6 (and probably GT6P) made the interior a bit brighter, it would be perfect. Also, I like the idea of cockpit view in a driving sim, so why ditch it when a less hardcore sim decides to do so? Cockpit view is used to make the car more interesting, the driving more realistic and the producer having one more reason to recommend this game. The only car that I hate driving with cockpit view when racing is the X1. I use chase cam for that because it is too fast round the corners. Otherwise, even though I don't use it very often (maybe because I drive Standard cars all the time), I would support the idea of cockpit view. Probably because it gives you a feeling that you are actually driving the car.
