Ok, one last time, then I'm finished.
Then how do you explain this?
Because it seems very much to me that you are not accepting his opinion of what genre of game GT5 is.
I was simply pointing out the hilarity in his post, where he was so brash as to make a rather official sounding claim that GT5 is in fact a racing game and NOT a driving game, when there is clearly a contradictory catch phrase printed on the box. Clearly you missed the irony of the situation.
I did not mean for it to seem as though I was using the catch phrase "The Real Driving Simulator" as my own definition of what the game is. I actually think it's a pretty silly catch phrase for the series
Like I said, GT5 is whatever each person wants it to be. To you, it is simply a racing game. To me, it's much more than that. To me, the whole GT series has been about bringing car culture into the virtual world. Racing is just one part of that.
Perhaps you should try taking a break from living life in the fast lane, slow down, and come check out all the other fantastic aspects of car culture that the online play of GT5 has allowed to blossom.
Sorry to say, but you're grasping at straws here 'Kid.
You may dismiss it as being silly, but it illustrates the fact that your definitions of game genres are completely and utterly unofficial, and are nothing more than your own opinion.
And he can't encompass these aspects in a racing game?
Aaaaaand now you're just talking in circles. If Kaz encompasses all aspects of car culture in a racing game, is it still a racing game???
