For awhile now one of my two Sixaxis controllers left analogue stick has been..well sticking making it a pain to use for essentially any game. This morning my other Sixaxis R2 button began to stick, so I was flying around on IL-2 with the guns constantly firing. Most annoying. So my brother finally bought a new controller, I would have bought one but he has money, I don't  So he bought a DS3, well worth it. Feels great to have the rumble back. Want another one now though to replace the other Sixaxis!

Also during the week bought myself some of these:

I need to grab a new SIXAXIS or DS3 next week for MW2...My left analog sticks are both slightly loose and will sometimes be just a hair forward, causing me to creep forward on accident. And I suspect that I need a new play 'n' charge cable for the X360 controllers...both controllers (and with either battery) will show a green charge indicator, but once unplugged they stay connected for about 10 seconds (depends if you press any buttons) before disconnecting and acting like the battery is fully dead. Hopefully its just the cable.

And that right there is a ridiculous $80+tax...Bleh. And to stay on topic, I placed an in-store preorder for this a couple days ago.

GTX 260 to replace my fried 8800GT. I was originally going to get the EVGA one but the BFG one was overclocked, was $20 cheaper and came with an additional $20 rebate. I couldn't pass that up.

Ours was a few weeks old by the time she wandered to us around August 23rd, so maybe about a month older than yours. Ours is incredibly sweet and playful aswell, and some funny chases between her and a slightly older grey cat, and the two inside dogs make for some funny moments.

Wish you and your cat well, if she's anything like ours she's a joy to have around.

From,
Chris.

Thank you very much and i wish you the same :). It's a he btw :dopey: lol

Moms laptop's motherboard is fried so until we get a new one we got an acer mini net book. Our plan is to use it until the motherboard comes in and then return the netbook falsely saying something is wrong with it.

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be doing that, and why in the gods name did you buy an Acer Netbook? Those things are junk.

Agreed. "Renting" a piece of equipment is fine from a rental store, but not *insert whatever electronics store you're screwing over here*. If you need a computer so bad that you can't wait a week for a part, just go buy a new one or go rent one from the aforementioned rental store.

I dunno ask my mom that. both my dad and i told her that a toshiba 15" laptop was better but she was ignorant.

Not like it really matters as you're just going to return it anyway.

Netbooks in general or just Acer's? I don't see the problem with netbooks, as they do what 90% of computer users do - email, look at pictures, and surf the web.

15" Laptop is gross, too big.

Just Acer's, I had an Aspire One for a short time and the power supply just went out on it. I fought with Acer for over two months to get the thing repaired and they wouldn't do it. They told me the battery was bad, which it wasn't because I had tried one from a guy at school and the problem persisted. They had me send my battery to them, promptly lost it and said I never sent it even though I had a tracking number for it.

I finally got Costco involved with it since it was where I purchased it from, had their sales rep get involved and eventually was able to return the netbook to Costco for a full refund 6 months after I bought it. I got my MacBook after that.

I have nothing against netbooks, I think they are extremely good for really basic stuff. I just loathe Acer products now and will never buy one or recommend one to anyone just based on their rather awful customer service.

Do they work well?
Yes. Buy them. Now. 👍

I love the Playstation controller design, but with the extenders is how they should come standard. I had to borrow a friends controller for a bit for part of a game and couldn't believe just how bad it was going back to the regular L & R2 buttons.

beat it already!:dopey:👍

Got one of these:

It'll replace my hinge-style briefcase for school and double as a camera bag too so that I can finally take my DSLR around with me and actually use it.

I just wrap my DSLR in a scarf and chuck it into my messenger bag. Haha.

2005 Subaru Impreza RS. 26,000 miles for $4,600. It will need some bodywork but the drivetrain and everything else is in excellent condition.

I think you ripped the seller off!!!! Good buy!!!

By the way about my moms new acer laptop. The OS got corrupted and now we have to recover it. I HATE ACER! We bought it on Saturday and it breaks down on Monday. The only thing we installed on it was Google Chrome. I think they should make a fail picture of Acer computers.

I agree this is one heck of a deal and the car really only needs a few things. These cars usually go for around 10k-11k and are very hard to find in my area. So for me to get it for $4,600 was truly a great purchase. Especially since the car only has 26,000 miles. Next year I will be painting it Blue for sure after I do all the bodywork. :)

Hey look, now you have a real reason to return it.
