It's a salvage title with frame damage. As stated, nobody got ripped off.
There is no frame damage. Only a dent in the front section under the radiator. But its nothing major at all. If there was frame damage it would have been listed on the title.......And its not on the title. When you buy a wrecked car, the insurance company makes out a list of the major damaged components that need to be fixed before the car is back on the road. The frame is not on the list at all.

Meet George...

HAHA YES! I got a new purchase(made a donation) too!.

I read this post of yours, but not the one you were replying to (relating to crash structure). I thought you were referring to frame structure, not crash.

My apologies.

Sure hope so.... :)

It's been playing it pretty nice with just one 280, can't really see the need to fire up all three of them in Tri SLI. I would have to get out the Corona's and shorts to deal with all the heat coming off the machine.

Lovin it so far...

Thats been causing quite a few problems on my 13 macbook pro (high temperatures constantly, low battery life) compared to leopard. Just giving you the heads up before you install, although a lot of installs from others have been fine :indiff:
Thankfully no such issues here, runs smoothly and is a fair amount faster than Leopard for me! :)

While everyone else seems to be preppeing for some Modern Warfare I decided I wanted to Watch something truly Ultimate and Uplifting.

And thanks to the price war going on between Walmart and Amazon I managed to snag both of these at more than half off their MSRP. Amazon is shipping them from their Lexington, KY warehouse, which is only about 30 minutes from me, so I am hopeful I will get them pretty quick. I will post of pictures of the 8-disc total madness when it comes in.

For anyone interested in UP and Monsters, Inc...

It's a bit of work, but a hell of a deal.
I am opposed to Target, because they are French, or they banned Salvation Army, or whatever the heck some dude on the Interwebz told my priest to tell me. :sly:

Seriously though, that is a great deal. If I had seen that before, and not been completely lazy, I would have jumped on that. I heard Target was in the price war too, but ther Web site prices aren't reflecting it. So even if I had known about these coupons I would have assumed it wasn't enough savings to necessitate leaving the house.

If it was meant to be seen this way, then why did they show us a different version in the first place?

Because Warner Bros. 1) wanted a movie under 2:45 in order to get an extra showing in each screen every day, and 2) to sell us $20-$30 Black Freighter/Under the Hood, $30-$40 Motion Comics, $15-$20 theatrical cut, $20-$25 Director's Cut, and $50-$60 Ultimate Cut (with all the above extras included) DVD/BDs.

In short: WB wanted to milk the hell out of this cash cow.

Fortunately, Zack Snyder mentioned, before it ever hit theaters, that there would be director's and ultimate cuts, so I knew not to buy all the side stuff separately. I just only bought the 3:10 director's cut and soon this ~3:45 ultimate cut.

Camera in my phone stinks (1.3MP), so bear with me:

250GB PS3 slim + Tekken 6
NFS Shift
GT5 Prologue
COD6
GTA IV

All up, cost me $1150 with extended warranty. We get shafted here in NZ when it comes to the price of electronics :/

Not pictured: one very happy 19yo male

2009 13" Macbook

overview_hero5_20091020.jpg

Only upgrade is 4GB of RAM instead of the standard 2GB. I was originally planning on getting a 13" Macbook Pro but this was launched not too long ago. I actually prefer the design of the Plastic Macbook over the Aluminium Pro's and now the Macbook has such a similar spec to the 13" Pro you'd be silly not to consider it. I love it's curved body, it looks so awesome.

Argh can't wait for it to arrive.

Got the 250GB PS3 Slim with Uncharted 2 and NFS Shift on Monday for my birthday. :D
Needless to say I am one very happy 16 year old!
I'm planning on getting Modern Warfare 2 within the next couple of weeks as well 👍

Minnesota=French?

They did ban the Salvation Army though for some odd reason. I think customers were complaining that they were saying Merry Christmas or something.

Could be a bit excessive, but a 24" Dell ST2410 LCD monitor. I got the hook up on it making it well worth getting this over waiting for the 23" Samsung LED monitor which is insanely difficult to find.

You'll have to excuse the lame iPhone uploaded to Facebook picture, my camera is in the car and I'm lazy.

Bah, now I have monitor envy. The 22 and 20 aren't cutting it anymore, I must get more desktop space :P

Nice though, and Dell tends to have good monitors. Quick question - 16:9 or 16:10 ratio?

Hell it barely fits on my desk as it is.

It's a 16:9 though. The biggest thing with me was the dynamic contrast ratio, it's 50,000:1 which is the same as the Samsung was.

You get used to them quick though.

I remember I got a 19" a 3 years ago and it was crazy huge to me. Then a week later you get used to it. At work a lot of people just got 24's, and again they looked huge, but now they're kinda normal.

Weird to think when I got a Samsung 15" CRT back in the day I was the envy of all my friends, as they only had a lowly 12"-13"! I think 24" will be the highest regular size for a while now though. (That said I'm rocking a 32" Monitor at the moment, my eyesight is going downhill fast...)

Yeah, that does happen. I recall thinking 24" was huge huge. Now it is just kind of meh. Prices are dropping all over too, I saw a 24" for like $179 just the other day.
