Picked up a new case, hopefully to detour heat issues with my SLI heater.

It's the Cosmos 1000 to be exact.

Just incase nobody has ever picked one of these things up, they are HEAVY- about 37 pounds to be exact

Congrats on your purchase Beerz! :D You know you're gonna have fun with that thing. Especially with a PS3 and GT5P...... :(

You crack me up Beerz!

I've not seen someone buy so many things they can't use.

You must like self-inflicted pain.:scared:
 You're probably right.
I love to buy stuff I can't use. :D ...for now.

You're gonna have a hell of a time getting that ink out of your couch, Beerz.

:D
Nah, it'll rinse right off. Because it's not ink, you know? Ink is hard to get off fabrics.
It's just nail polish my ex had left on the bathroom's cabinet. 👍

...................oh yeah.

Thanks, buddy.
I'll have A LOT of fun, for sure... when I have my PS3. :dunce:

Ok, people.
Gather around again, party ain't over yet.

Just got this today...

This big-ass box, really heavy. (could it be my new kitchen-knife set?)

Aaaw, crap.

What a nice puzzle. :D

(I know my bed isn't made, I fell asleep after turning off the alarm clock and only woke up by the time I should already be working for 8 minutes...)

Thank god they have this warning on the back of the seat!...

I have already assembled it (about 25 or 30 minutes, doing it without a hurry), but only now I'm going to put the G25 gear on it.
I'll post a pic of the full setup tomorrow, taken with daylight.

Also, a bonus shot. I totally messed up my finger hauling the damn box, on the building's stair walls (like extra-gritty sandpaper), before getting to the elevator.
I blurred the blood part on Photoshop, as it was kinda messy. (some people may be having a family meal now. (with their laptop on the dining table, facing their grandparents)

@Beerz,

Very nice. Be sure to tell us all about it once you get it put together. :D

Nice lot of kit you just got Beerz 👍

Oh and I really love that case Pako... I saw it in a magazine the other day fully kitted out and thought man I want one but I didn't realize it weighs a ton!

Thanks, mate. 👍
I'll try to get a couple of shots of it fully assembled today after work.

Oh, and don't doubt that case is heavy, because it already looks heavy. Look at those handles... (but I bet you pick it up with your pinky. ;)

Nice lot of kit you just got Beerz 👍
Thanks, Robin. Feels great to have it finally at home. :D

congrats Beerz 👍

jealous :(
Thanks, Nitro. You should get one too (Playseat or another one).
It feels really good being on a correct driving position on a high-end sport car.

gosh Beerz...im soo jealous!!! i think i need to get one...
As I said above, if you can, get one.
I haven't tried it while driving because my replacement PS3 is still to arrive, but I've sat in it for a while, with the G25 already on it, and the overall feeling, even "doing nothing", just can't be bet.
It's a big leap towards real simulation. 👍

Child locks for the cabinet doors.

It will be a long time until I have to clean up my DVD, CD, and game collection again.

I also treated myself to an adjustable pipe wrench and headband-mounted LED flashlight.

Went a to rather large shopping centre today as part of a school trip. Kind of weird I know but still it was quite good.

Foo Fighters Poster, now nicely situated on my wall.

Two Foo Fighter Album's "One By One" and "The Colour And The Shape". Also I bought a Revell Audi R8 1:24th Kit which I'm going to build over the upcoming 2 week holiday! Quite pleased with what I got and all for £35 as well! 👍

Wicked set up you have there Beerz 👍 ... Damn shame the dirt will be an inch thick on them by the time the PS3 gets back

Sorry mate couldn't resist haha ;)

All good things come to those who wait remember
Have fun mate!
Ron.

Technically my parent's latest purchase, but it will become my main source of transportation for evenings and weekends.

Japan Option Magazine (March 2008 issue)
It contains a separate booklet with 2008 Tokyo Auto Salon coverage
with lots of tuned R35, EvoX and new WRX :scared:

a set of cheap (41€) glasses on the right, and some better-looking expensive ones on the left (185€)... hey, I change glasses every 4-5 years, so I'm allowed a bit of luxury every now and then.

These two are my most recent (large) purchases...

Turbo is a turbonetics oil/watercooled t60-1 t3/t4 hybrid.
The ehxaust is a 3" Angency Power titanium exhaust.

Nice. :)
Is that all for the 350? How much did you pay for both?

Yup. The turbo is part of a kit I bought, $4,500 (not including all the extra I had to buy, or the $1,200 programable ECU, which wouldnt have made a nice picture)

MSRP on the turbo I THINK is about 1300? Not exactly sure, I had to pay an extra 500$ for the water cooling option, so maybe 1800?

The exhaust is my 3rd exhaust for my car, and I got it used (but next to new) for $650 (msrp is like $900)

Thanks, It's a M$ Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000, pretty pricey in stores but on eBay, $200 for a bluetooth backlit mouse and keyboard seems decent. I'll be putting up a review soon too.
