I've got some games on my STEAM program that I have to run as weird admin rights. Its not really ideal to keep doing that for other programs as well. Also, its extremely frustrating (not for long) when you come across that. I much rather just wait and see if they will fix it or not. If they don't, then they obviously don't want my money.

It was more of the interest with the pricing and whether it was value for money or not.

Looking at all the replies to my purchase seems you all forgot I bought the Pirtek stuff I got for BTCC too  but also some of them are scarey :scared:.

And F1 fan what Wagon wheels and Irn Bru... :P

Edit: In other news I bought this cause it's awesome! (It's a t-shirt)

That's Windows for you, nothing the devs can do in almost all cases with that. Don't want to have to play about with it, buy console games.

I did that years ago. While I miss certain aspects of PC gaming, there are many pitfalls. The same can be said about consoles, but you don't have to worry about compatibility issues.

Having said that, I did have an infuriating compatibility issue with my PS3 tonight, but that's a story for another time.

Well, PC gaming has its benefits too; Steam sales being one. I picked up Alice instead of getting it on console as planned, so much cheaper plus graphically so much better.

PhysX particle effects, higher resolution textures, anti-aliasing, even free DLC. Game looks so much better on PC really. Controller not a problem since it supports the X360 PC controller natively.

I do prefer PC games and getting stuff on STEAM as its just easy.

I'm happy to tinker with it, but its just a little faff to do at times. Mind you, once you set it, its set-and-forget stuff, so its' alright.

I'm so happy to be a PC gamer over a console gamer, to me PC games are just better in everyway.

This Steam sale is getting a little out of hand too:

  • Brink
  • Saints Row 3 Collection
  • Assassins Creed Collection
  • Dirt 3
  • Dirt Showdown
  • Tribes: Ascend
  • Toy Solider
  • SW: Force Unleashed 1 & 2
  • Sonic Generations

And we still have 6 days to go.

Well that says soup lol. This is noodles like no liquid just noodles so I'd say they are different.. ;)

Through some random link-clicking the other day, reminded myself of this, and I just so happen to be off from work on one of the two showings in Toronto. Two tickets promptly purchased:

The girlfriend and I always talk about how we just missed their final show here thanks to not knowing each other very well back then, so this is the next best thing. So excited.

Not really a purchase, a freebie from a motorbike accessories company that I'm marketing for:

I got the grey one. It's a helmet bag. I also got a t-shirt with Insolent Rider on it.

Joey D
Sopwith Camel - Set 10266

It's very cool, there's a stick that moves the flaps and the thing is massive. I put about half of it together tonight.

Damn i miss these things. I still have a lot of LEGOs. I really want a son so i can teach him to build LEGOs.

Actually, I wouldn't call being diabetic "win". Yet, using a syringe in public and seeing how shocking this can be for some people is actually really an "epic win". :P
Sorry, didn't notice this earlier... My post wasn't so much about being diabetic, but more about "buying" it, if that makes sense.

Got some shoes from River Island and some clothes from Republic as I'm going away on vacation soon :D

Also picked up some books.

Faith and Fire by James Swallow (A WH40k Sisters of Battle Novel).
Game of Thrones Book 1 and 2.
