Steelseries Siberia V2, to replace my aging and slightly broken Tritton AX Pro headset
steelseries_siberia_v2_usb.jpg

Wanted to get a new headset because my Trittons have served their time (wee bit broken, quite uncomfortable, cable spaghetti around my computer) and was throwing around the idea of Siberias when they came up on a one-day only sale. Funny how these things work out! :)

$17 for 4 rolls.

God I hope this Minolta is actually working, and I can figure out what the hell I'm doing.

A tank helmet, TSh-4M-L.

Unfortunately, the "voice chat" device is designed for a T-72 tank's radio and can't be used with a PC. :D
So I'm planning to pull it out and replace with some normal headphons & mic, and use it to play World of Tanks in a platoon with my friend.

ASUS HD7850-DC2-2GD5-V2 Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Now I can play Assetto Corsa, (great tech demo btw) Net Kar Pro, and some other racing sims on PC (iracing is too expensive though).

Hadn't thought of that. But at 128oz, it'll do the job. 💡

EDIT: Been saving up for this.

You should just ask to get paid in shirts, Garrett.

Swung by Gamestop today after my job interview and picked those up (I'm up to 3 360 games now!); plus the year subscription thing to Game Informer and the rewards card.

Oh, I bought a new MacBook Pro 15" Retina with a 2.8GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM and a 512 SSD last week. Must admit, the SSD is mightily impressive as I've not had any experience of one before. Starts up in less than 8 seconds.

I'd post a pic but when you've seen one MBP you've pretty much seen them all.

Just a bit thinner now. ;)
