If i get a better job, i will reward myself with a 2nd 780 and a new power supply, i think. maintaining 100fps in newer games will be tough if I dont turn eyecandy down.

I am going to start looking into buying parts to build a new PC. The frame rates I was experiencing in the BF4 Beta last night were just unacceptable.

With a single 780, I was getting 80-90 fps with everything turned up. You might be ok for a while.

Brett, get the new beta drivers if you have an nvidia card. They helped a ton.

Given that your 780s aren't quite stock, do you think one could manage 60 FPS on a slightly overclocked 680? I wouldn't be concerned if your cards were stock, but, well... :dopey:

Although they are water cooled now, I have them running at stock clocks at the moment. I am also running my CPU at stock speeds as well, well....stock boost. I think the CPU is hitting 4.2ghz under load with boost enabled.

I really can't say on the 680's. A 3gb 680 maybe. Might be able to go ultra settings but turn down your FSAA etc, but I think it would be pushing it.

Ok well.... I just pulled the trigger on a new NAS box from Seagate.

STBP16000100

16TB from 4xNAS grade SATA-600 drives.

I have been running FreeNAS for almost a year now, but with constant reboots required, raids getting corrupt, and not being able to transfer at gigabit speeds, I was ready to a more commercial route.

Should be able to get it setup with all my files and get my drives mapped mid-next week.

I have the beta drivers for my card. I just need more performance than what I have now will deliver.

Bought a few things yesterday.

My old Samsung Infuse fell off something at work (my own stupidity of not paying attention to where I had set it). So it was time to get a new phone.

I screwed AT&T over once again by threatening to leave (which I almost did).

Anyway, I got the new Samsung Galaxy Note II. I spent $95 on accessories for it.
I picked up a OtterBox Defender Series case, which cost around $50 (just in case I drop it). Also picked up a 32GB SD card for about $30.
Also got a packet of cloths.

Also about a week ago I quit smoking and got a electronic cigarette.

Tsunami E-Cigarette
Came with two batteries, two chambers, and charger. It was around $60.
I also today got a new bottle of fluid and a "Dunk Tank", well for medicating (let's leave it at that ). It cost about $30 with tax.

Both together....

Anyway, I highly recommend the OtterBox cases. OtterBox is very serious about their cases. I am very impressed on how much protection the case has.
If I had had one on my Infuse, it probably wouldn't have broke. But hey, at least I was able to get the new Samsung Galaxy Note II basically for $5 Plus and $180+ off my bill for the next year as a result.

I have Gipsy Danger and Knifehead arriving in late October. Kicking myself for not ordering them when they first came out. Their prices on ebay now are crazy! Luckily I found this last Crimson Typhoon from a local store and grabbed him straight away.

Case and holster for my LG Optimus G. The clip doubles as a kickstand.

I really wish there was an Otterbox Defender for this thing. Even the Sprint variant has more cases available.

Bought Benq GL2450HM about a week ago since my old benq died after 6 long years of almost daily service, worth every penny

I have two of those. Great little monitors. Currently using my Asus as a primary and have my 2 BenQ's in the downstairs office as my desk space is pretty small

:(

Picked these two books up earlier today:

My mechanic tool set was missing a bunch of sockets/wrenches and it was cheaper to buy a whole new set. Sears had this one on clearance:
