The internal speakers are actually pretty okay, but when it runs straight to the satellite speakers from my Boston acoustics system is actually sounds pretty damn good.

I just felt that it was an incredibly mediocre film, it was something I watched and thought to myself "I never need to see the movie again, I've seen everything I need to see."

As a film, it sucks; the 'drama' scenes are ridiculous and the whole romance thing was total BS simply thrown in to add depth to the plot. I hadn't seen it prior to getting the Blu-Ray, but I knew straight away the story wouldn't want to make me watch it over and over, the car scenes would, which (apart from being a bit crude in places) were done fairly well. My only other complaint apart from the terrible story was the replica models of the cars.

Sure, I obviously get why they used them, but its annoying being a car guy and noticing all the minor issues with them, like the Saleen and the Veyron for instance. In short, the only reason I'll watch it again is for the action and car scenes, not the story.

Watching a Need For Speed movie for the story and not the cars is like watching Final Destination for the acting and not the deaths.
