Yup, Real smart selling a lighter at a petrol station.
What could possibly go wrong?
Absolutely nothing in the entire history of petrol stations in the US. They sell cigarettes, charcoal, and propane too. And sometimes, fireworks are sold under a tent in the parking lot.

You mean if I go visit you guys there and I go to a gas/petrol station, I will not find any cigs/lighters/etc.? What a let down. And I thought you guys were cool...

But not this. Wow, really?

We love our Independence Day fireworks. Some states don't allow certain types of fireworks, but what is allowed is often being sold under pop up tents in gas station parking lots. It's a seasonal business, so the only permanent facilities are a storefront connected to the warehouse. There will be one or two of those in each major city and then the rest are sold out to the tent vendors.

All that said, the gas station pumps have so many safety checks built in that it is rare for any fire to reach the underground tanks. To get a fire you need a major leak or some umpty just spraying fuel all over the place, and at that point even a hot car exhaust is a fire hazard. I've never once heard of a gas station fire accidentally caused by a firework. I have seen a fireworks store/warehouse catch fire. Those are fun times and can shut down nearby highways.

More stuff for the landscaping / yard project. Almost finished with the projects I want to do this year. It has been so nice to just put money toward cosmetic landscaping this year. This is the best my yard has ever looked. :)

So while I wait for next week to get my PS3 back, I went to the game exchange store today and bought Mortal Kombat 4 for only $15 plus a new memory card which in total was $20. Although I got rid of my PS1 many many years ago, it is still possible to go back and play my PS1 games since my PS2 and 3 is backwards compatible. Still gonna need that memory card though. Also can someone tell me what the switch in the front of my new memory card is for?
image.jpg

Is this for to switch the ports without having to take out the memory card from the magic gate or does this mean that this memory card is compatible to save both PS2 and 1 game data? If this switch means the memory card can save both PS2 and PS1 game data that would be pretty neat.

There's a firework warehouse about four miles from my house that always puts on a pretty decent show on new years/4th of July. I'm not quite sure how but in the 'offseason' they convert it to a scare house...and for whatever reason people actually pay to go through it.
Ironically, in the nearly 17 years I've lived here, they've only had one incident. It was from a chainsaw.

Purchased an Iphone 6 case. Plus extra shipping so it can get here tomorrow. I tend to drop phones once inawhile. Damn Paws.

2,550 mAh, good for 500 recharges. Of course I picked up the charger, how was I not going to do that?

@SVX - Dang it, man, big Congrats!

Uh . . . I'm dropping the challenge now, okay? Too *koff busy and all that. :nervous:

Talking about purchases - while my shopping for Mattel goodies is a sporadic effort at best, it begins to pile up and eventually I find myself with several boxes of unsorted models - Hot Wheels and Matchbox, of course - and if I don't get to sorting it out into 'To be Opened', 'Put away in Package' and 'Extras.' it starts to get to the point where doing that is not 'Play' but 'Work'. So I dive into the storage area where these things are stored and try to make a start:

Muscle cars with muscle cars, fantasy cars on a side, construction vehicles here, cop cars and firetrucks in that clump, cars with flame livery over here, put the bikes and planes over there . . . stop looking at Arachnorod . . .

. . . the thing is I might come to one of those packages marked for 'Opening' and then I get stuck:

Should I open it right now or get back to work? If I open it, I won't get back to sorting.

So, back to work.

Have fun with the wheel, my good chum - you deserve it. Enjoy!
