Could you post a relevant face picture in the "Pics of Yourself" thread?

Is that the Arca Swiss P0 you mentioned earlier? Damn, that thing looks nice. It better be great, because it's not a cheap item by any means. 👍

Yup, it's the P0. I got an extra 10% off and a bag for it so it was *slightly* less painful on the wallet. I figured I might as well get something that fits my needs perfectly the first time around instead of spending £150+ on a less expensive head+plates that won't hold as much weight (and then buying a P0 after I give up on the less expensive head). Funny thing is that it's the least expensive head that Arca Swiss make (check out their C1 Cube).

Worx trimmer / edger for myself. Worx leaf blower for my NEIGHBOR. He always does so much for me and he has mentioned needing a leaf blower for a while. :) Both wireless and use a 20v lithium battery.

We've run across an issue. We have a table between the wall and our sofa. Underneath this table is a power outlet that is used for powering a lamp and then a few other things. The table was perfectly designed for setting up a phone/tablet charging area, as it was open, had nothing above it that could break it, and blocked off by the sofa from being accidentally bumped. However, after plugging in a multi-port USB charger we found that we needed to plug other stuff into it as well. This was a problem because it was being used, but also because it was under a table.

Then I saw this advertised on Monoprice.

A 6-Outlet Desktop Hub with Dual USB Ports.

The design allows it to easily sit on the table, the USB ports give us direct charging access without blocking an outlet, the extra outlets means that other things can be used without crawling under the table, and any more mobile devices that need to charge can do so via one of the many USB adaptors we already own without worrying about the max output.

Went shopping today!

2 items:

- Item one:
An adapter pack containing a micro SD to standard SD adapter, a micro SD card (32GB Class 10), a micro SD to standard USB adapter, and a micro USB to standard USB adapter. I tried to use the last one as possible expandable storage for my phone(s). The BlackBerry recognized it was there, but couldn't read it and the Windows Phone didn't even see it.

- Item two:
An HDMI adapter pack containing a standard HDMI cable about twice my armspan and an adapter (micro/mini HDMI to standard HDMI). I bought this because as pictured, my phone has a micro HDMI port (for presenting purposes, but I simply use it as a screen mirror).

I bought some more straps for my watch (I might have a problem). Here is what I bought:

I bought the five on the left. I already had the two on the right and posted them in another picture on GTP.

Probably doesn't help that I was just at a rally event this weekend. But always been interested in Blipshift's t-shirt designs. It's just that I never really considered buying my own clothing over the internet... And most of the designs I was interested in were sold out by the time I found out about them.

Just couldn't help but chuckle at the caption. Knowing how much I play racing games.

To get the new TiVo working I had to order a couple MoCA adapters, as the TiVo needs a wired internet connection, which I do not have in most of the house.

With these I can run internet through the coax jacks, which I have in almost every room of the house.

If you haven't bought from them before, I highly recommend getting the Heavy Duty option. Fantastic fitment and quality.

I did indeed choose the heavy duty option. Figured due to my size it'd be better off that way. I'm guessing it's much more durable as well?

I'd say it feels twice as strong.
I received a free standard one, and all of my...6 purchases have been the HD. It's literally twice as nice for $2 more.

These came in the other day

This replaces my FX-4300 that I've used for 2 or so years. So I've endured a lot of frame drops and stuttering in nearly every game I played. With the i5 there's absolutely no frame drops or stutters - just buttery smooth. Even light tasks feels a bit faster. And the motherboard looks real nice. It isn't as nice as the more expensive options but this board has practically everything I need.

Finally a replacment for the Cooler Master Seidon 120V that died last November. Been running i7 stock cooler since, and the temps sucked. Really badly :s.

DS4 Controller for PC, since the X360 controller i bought in February has went poop. Well the Joysticks are drifting both. Went back to Dualshock since they feel way better in my hands then the Xbox Controller.

Are the DS4 plug and plug like the 360 controllers for PC? Since buying a 360 controller, I have not looked into using a Sony controller.

No, you need a program like https://www.inputmapper.com/ to emulate a Xbox Controller, then it works. I used to use a DS3 on PC, and i completely adored it, i tried a X360 controller and i didnt really like it.

At some point I decided that listening to a lecture series by The Great Courses wasn't enough, and when Audible had a 2 for 1 sale on language lesson titles I bought all six parts (30 units) to the German Phase 1 course. If I were this diligent of a student when I was in school I'd be doing something completely different right now.

You running any water cooling?
Also when are you planning on overclocking?

Just air cooling for now. I am gonna buy an AIO liquid cooler pretty soon though.
Of course, since I got an unlocked i5.

I would go for a full loop.
Looks nicer if you have a case with a window.

It is more tricky but looks nicer.
