What in the actual ****? I never knew what a gremlin looked like. I usually thought they looked like troll dolls.

These are "hollywood" gremlins, the original gremlin was never given a proper physical description as far as I know.

I always viewed them as something similar. Almost like mini demons.

I was afraid of dragon flies when I was little, mainly because I thought they would change into dragons and eat me up.

Right now, I'm afraid of frogs and I have a strong fear of short mad girls. I don't know why the latter one fears me the most. I'm not afraid of someone bigger than me, but short mad girls (no matter what age, particularly after 14) just makes me want to run away.

I was scared of thunder, whenever there was any I used to climb into my mums bed and hide under the covers until it was over.

I was also scared of dogs after a bad experience with one, im no longer scared of them but I don't like them, Im a cat person now..

Women's spites are far more fearful than men and hopefully I desire to see none of them settling accounts with someone who was at loggerheads with them evermore.

Xenomorphs, they scared me the hell out of me....
Now, in a very strange way, I love the creature itself, and I love the first Alien movie Thanks H.R. Giger. Thanks Ridley Scott.

That is one of my greatest fears actually, meeting a facehugger. I hate things like scorpions, so having a huge slimy one that suffocates you is quite possibly the worst thing I could come across.

When I was very little, I'd go to bed, and see... Helicopters. Like, small ghosts of Apaches flying all over my room. I was terrified of them.
Don't judge me.

My dog can change that, just about the nicest anything in existence.

Same with a few dogs I know... They really dont care what you do with them, as long as you feed them (which is the only thing it seems they want ), and pay attention to them.

The multi-purpose Air raid/prison/mental hospital/tornado/Plug in baby siren used to scare the 🤬 out of me.

These are probably the only enemies in Doctor Who that I have found scary at all.

I think you are forgetting the Empty Child("Are you my mummy?"), The Silence, Possessed Ood(After that even regular Ood gives me the creeps), Vashta Nerada, the Peg Dolls, and the Cybermen(They a bit scary but the lowest on the totem pole). I love the series but I've almost given myself nightmares because of a few of these! The weeping angels would have to be my #1 scariest thing from Doctor who.

Actually, to be honest, saying that I love a Xenomorph DOES NOT MEAN that it doesn't scare me.
I love the "feeling" of the first Alien movie, I remember seeing the scene where Dallas died with my eyes almost entirely closed jajaja.

Great stuff over here people. It's great to find out that you are not THAT crazy.

Silly things that I fear when I was a child are spiral stairs, elevators, large dome and...

Squat_Toilet.jpg

Yeah.. A squat toilet. This kind of toilet used to be in my house when I was a child and whenever I want to go to the kitchen, I have to run past the toilet first. I feared that I will get eaten by the toilet or anything. I know this sounds silly as hell

Believe it or not, I've never used the toilet for a year of me living in that house. Instead, I just use the seated toilet in my parent's bedroom.

I feared 10 wheeler trucks and buses when I was a child, due to their enormous size and the engine sounds.

For some reason, when I was young, I was afraid of things that were covered in patina or rust. It just had an eerie feel to it.

This, so much this. I thought rusted hulks of cars were going to try to kill me somehow, as if they were monsters.

Then again, it is fairly rational if you think about it. Between tetanus and the likelyhood of things deciding to collapse, there is reason to fear.

Actually, I was afraid of them too. I can remember a time my grandfather had an old Chevy van that was all rusty and I threw a fit about riding in it. I didn't say why, but in my head, it was because it was rusty and thought it was going to fall apart.

I realize now that that was absolutely ridiculous however.

I feared being late.

As a child I was afraid that if I was late for school my regular routine would be disrupted and the anxiety of having to rearrange things made me nervous.

These days I simply don't give a monkeys.

I remember the very first time I saw that screen. I was going to play the original Gran Turismo game on my PS2 and that screen appeared after I shut the disc tray. I was so terrified by it that I ran downstairs - crying - begging my father to turn it off. What's worse is that it's still scary when it appears unexpectedly. :scared:

The PS2 startup sound makes me feel physically sick for some reason. It's a really depressing noise.
