Anyway, did the SimVibe update help your Impala issue Greeze?

Doesn't appear to have made any differance at all unfortunately. :(
I should probably contact customer support.

*Edit*: Whilst sat here at work slowly trying to wake up, a thought has struck me (rare, but it happens). I should probably check that Chassis Mode is actually 'ticked' before getting carried away. That is the sort of stupid thing I'm capable of missing!

SimVibe control panel now has it's own position on the Lilliput complete with fully functioning touch capability. It's great cos I can properly make changes on the fly :

I have a Touch screen also, but it runs from my networked second pc.

Would love to have simvibe run from a second pc so I could use the touch screen on the fly......

What do you mean mate? My issue is I cant get Engine Vibration from the game in GSC2012, regardless of the mode. All other effects are fine :)

In my case, 'Chassis Mode' outputs tactile related to front and rear suspension. Works great with the Corvette, Riley etc but nothing from the Impala. By 'ticked' I mean enabled in the Output Devices tab...

Please someone say is it good enough amp for 2x aura bass pro shakers

I don't think that they don't want to risponde to you but it is difficult to say that this or that Amplifier is good or not good to power a Aura Pro....!
But Mr.Latte had said to me that there are 2 importante parameters that the Amplifier should have in order to,adequately, power, any Aura Pro shaker:

Must be:
4ohm compatible
Use 7.1 or 5.1 multichannel inputs
Approx 100 watt per channel

So check if that Amplifier has those parameters,!
personally to be sure, I went for 2BKG2

Anyone played with dashboards yet?
The potential is great but mine keep disappearing. If I try a simple one and save as a preset I can't seem to load it up again :(

I would say that it looks identical to some "Skytec" models which I do not recommend having had problems with two of them in the past.

If you only need to power two units then a stereo amplifier using 4 ohms and say 100 watts or more will work ok. It is better to have a bit more power than buying a unit that would need to be ran constantly at it's limits.

An AV amplifier is only really for those that want to power up to 5 or 7 channels (5.1 or 7.1) within a single unit. These will also have a remote which many PA 4ohm amplifiers will not.

Each of your SIm Setup Buttons has it's own dashboard.

Presets are multi-level. You can export and share with someone a preset for a particular dashboard item such as the circular gauge or line chart, or you can export an entire dashboard.

You can export an entire dashboard from one sim setup and import it on another but use caution. Not all games offer all data elements.

My problem is probably me being completely thick, but I cannot actually physically see any dashboards. I can go to Dashboards and View/Design and make my own, which will work in the design window if I'm playing the game but if I try and load a preset or save mine and then try to load I dont see where it actually shows up :dunce:
I'm running a Lilliput usb monitor and have SimVibe control panel on that when it opens. I've tried different dashboard options in settings (show when launched etc) but only see a black screen and message saying 'Dashboard not connected to Game', or something similar.

Update released. Please let me know how it goes.

Top stuff mate, was excited enough to try it before work and works a treat :) thanks for that..and big thumbs up for the seamless update system 👍

Each Sim Setup button has a tab for its dashboard, the same as each sim setup button has a tab for its Output Mix settings. What's shown in that tab is what's shown when that sim setup is launched frpom the main screen.

Maybe you have some duplicate sim setups and your confusing yourself?

As it's all still new I'll start from scratch and see if I did something silly. I can use the dashboard tab and see it but one of the settings (cant remember which one) brings up what I assume should be the dash when the game starts but the dash is just black and the message 'Dashboard cannot connect to the game' appears.
I'll try and have another look later, although the girlfriend is over tonight and she likes me to spend time with her rather than drive my pretend car in the dining room

Well, the update to SimVibe hasn't cured my lack of suspension effects through 'Chassis Mode' with the Impala (or the National and Silverado actually)...

Guess I'll contact support unless Berney wishes to comment here a'la Steve's issues?

It's better to contact support. It's almost impossible to keep an efficient history of troubleshoting in a forum. It's likely that the four corner suspension effects do not apply to vehicles with a solid rear axle. You would need to use the Road Bumps effect in that case.

Berney, don't feel obliged to answer any of my questions here, I'm more than happy to do a customer support email if I come across problems :)
I'd usually post here anyway incase others have the same issues or know of fixes/solutions :)

Dashboards..I cannot get any to actually show up. I still end up with a blank screen. If I choose to make a new sim profile, I name it, select the game and then if I choose Dashboard it lets me add items. If I choose the Dashboard settings option at the bottom of the page it shows the sliders which show zoom, height and width (think it defaulted to 1024x768 or something). However if I use a normal profile and go to the dashboard options the sliders are blank, so I'm wondering if it's a video issue and I simply cannot see the output.

I'd like to hear from anyone that's got a dash up and running just so I know it's me ;)

It's not so much that I mind responding when I see a question as it is that I don't have a perfect memory and issues reported directly to support allow we to see at a glance the entire troubleshooting history.

Also, I don't visit this forum as frequently as others so I'm likely to overlook something and don't want to create the idea that this is a place where I will provide support. I'm frankly still mystified as to why my products are even applicable here. I always thought this site is oriented toward console gamers.

I think some of us have been hanging around here, but we are not playing GT anymore on a dayly or even weekly basis. :)

What is GT5 again? :sly:
I honestly haven't played on console for ages now. Too busy enjoying myself with pCARS and something non sim related called Rocksmith.

So yeah, GTP is more of a gathering place then anything else. For me at least.
