Source? Won't it be the possibility of being a flat terrain? Or a freely customizable terrain?

20x20 km is HUGE. The Nordschleife is much less than 20x20. :D

The 'Ring is in fact roughly 3x5 km. And that EASILY fits over 22km of track...
20x20 would theoretically fit >400 km!

I never stuck around too long on the intro.

Fair enough. It's easy to miss if you skip the generic intro that follows the beautiful Senna feature. And also if you use your own background music or turn it off altogether.

As for the curse maker, if it's anything like the video, I'm happy.
The one thing that bothered me in GT5 was the backgrounds. This seems to have a lot going on. Filling the screen with trees and mountain sides. Love it.

It doesn't say it's not a course maker "sample" track. It says it's a track but that it's obvious...there are 2 cars racing in it.

Something just came across my mind, what if courses that PD built using the course creator like this course upcoming does seem to look that way. Potentially be edited user side to be a Point to Point course? I mean that would be a big plus to make pretty much long twisty courses PtP courses and we can place the start and end points as we see fit. Who honestly wouldn't want to have such an ability in the course generator? Track races are great but with the disciplines in the game PtP races would be great to create rally stages out of or Touge races or eeep, Drag strips :gtpflag:. I would lose many countless hours if GT6 Course generator came with such a feature to create PtP races on any new course added via the course creator, heck I wouldn't mind chopping up some bits of the Nurburgring to make for some drift sections much better than PD idea of drifting around full courses instead of chopping into sections of turns with a defined start and end point. I can't see that being too hard to implement, I wonder if PD even thought of doing something like this?

Check the latest in the news section :sly:
Sorry, would you like to point me to exactly where it says that this is not track editor?

Would you like to point me to exactly where the are Any real details about this? Apart from the fact we will 'learn more in February'.

I dunno man, that track pop-in on the left of the screen at 1:07 really looks like the kind of stuff I'd see on the custom tracks in GT5... the plot thickens! :mischievous:

Given it is a real world location, I don't know why you people would assume it has anything to do with the course creator.
Maybe, just maybe, the fact that the new course creator is confirmed to include a feature to capture real world Road data, and import it into the game.

I'm not sure what's so far fetched about the idea.

It seems quite obvious to me, given all that has been posted in various places.

It's also great advertising hype.

"look at this beautiful new track! "

" oh Yeh we made it with the new track maker! "

" oh, and did we forget to mention it's from gps data? "

In the mean time your telling all the forza fan boys that your currently driving a real Road in Spain, and next week you will have imported the local ring Road and you will be lapping it in a 1000bhp Nissan gtr.

Makes sense to me:D:gtpflag:

How is GPS logger going to make that backdrop?
