Me Too/ Tried my Corvette over and over Refusing to Use one of those Crappy bumble Bee cars and they would pull from me on the straights like i had a couple cylinders down,Got my Magane and got 3rd or 4th i think,Garbage.
SO SICK OF THE GR4 MEGANES ACCELERATION!!!!

The guy That's going crazy with his High Beams because you will not pull over for his Scrub no skill car,Encountered one yesterday lol and he's 4 car lengths back,Ridiculous .

I used this car for the first time yesterday (I would have never bought this car, daily workout gave it to me). Boring describes it perfectly. the car? the race? the looks? Yes to all of them. no chance of oversteer, power out on the grass without losing any time, sounds lame, and it puts the game on boring easy mode.
I did however notice my Dr:B went up significantly after 2-3 races with this car finishing top 5 consistently. I feel like there might be some false ranks out there due to this car. Hopefully it all evens out.

I remember using the Megane a while back on Kyoto, a track I still struggle with compared to others, I still did fairly well. Have not used the car since.

Indeed. Their argument was 'I was quicker', 'You kept blocking me' yadda-yadda-yadda. Because driving the easy car and they think they have a sense of entitlement. More so what ticked him off...is I rammed him to take the lead on the last lap. Dirty driving? No. More like karma. Since he didn't seem to mind using me as a brake to bump his way past me for the lead. But in perhaps typical Meagane driver fashion, just carried on like a pork-chop because of my 'ram'. Sometimes, you need to give as good as you get.

Yes, we all know the Megane (of all the FF's) is killing it after 1.06.
In the same way I'm sure we all know it will receive a flogging in the next BoP update.
I guess people wish to vent, which is good.
But in a couple of weeks time things will be different, so let's not get too worked up about the current situation.

Dunno man. It's boring every GR4 race and the grid is 8 Meganes, 3 Sciroccos, 2 BMWs and one odd something else. At least in the races I'm in the odd something else happens to be me in a Genesis. It's challenging but I manage to place between 5-7 by the end of the race. The good thing about Megane/Scirocco drivers is they seem to take offence with anyone getting ahead and so end up having a good battle with each other till someone makes a mistake. In I swoop and if I've times it right I can get past both and hold them off until the straight by which time the psychological pressure has got to them and the make some mistake at some point around the corners.

The 8 lap race at Lago Maggiore...
The top 12 at the start included 2 M4 and a TT, being the rest Meganes and Sciroccos.
The a:censored:le that won the race lapped me on the last lap (got my G29 and was the first race with it, got loose from the desk during the race
). So he was about 2 seconds behind me coming to the first left-right, as I was not really racing anyone, after the left-right, I pulled to the left of the track midway to the second left-right and stopped accelerating, keeping my speed, has I didn't intend to mess with a possible clean race of the guy. Waited, waited, waited, then right about the breaking point to the second left-right he bumped me from the back. I mean, if I decided to lift off in the last second, with him right on my bumper, it would be pretty stupid. No, I antecipated the move, steered away of the racing line on a straight, and than lift off before he reached my back, not even this way he could avoid hitting me on the back, in a point we should be braking at race speed, which was not my case, as I was crawling. I didn't get a penalty (but got a SR decrease), for the information on the screen he got a SR decrease to, in the racing line he had a 7 sec penalty to serve, still won the race though.
What annoys me is that this is killing the ranks, people clueless take the Megane and Scirocco and climb through the ranks, the people who race with RWD because they don't want to go the Megane path are going down the ranks. Before 1.06 I was a solid top 3 on DR D - SR A races with F458 or Citroen GT on gr.4 races, now I struggle to fight for top 12.

An example of what exactly? You're not racing stock road cars, they are all subject to balance of performance changes - just like in real life racing. For example, the Viper GTS-R was restricted to 480-490 BHP to be able to compete in the GTLM class (compared to 640 BHP for the road car).

I'm yet to try the Megane, but to anyone that has, what's the tyre wear like?
The reason I ask is that I've started using the TT Cup on certain tracks where the GT-R's lack of speed really hurts lap times. (I can get my times down by 2-3 secs in the GT-R with not much more to give after a few laps, then jump straight in with the TT and match that time (if not beat it) in the first go.
However, I'm finding is that after 5 or so hard laps the front tyres (understandably) are about 1/3 in the red and you start really losing time. But what I'm seeing is that the Megane's still seem to Go, Stop and Turn much better suggesting that their tyres aren't wearing as bad!

I'm struggling with the mentality of some posts in this thread...
Everyone knows the Megane/Scirocco are over powered vs competition.
Yet people still enter grp 4 races in non-competitive cars and insist on whining about it like it's some sort of surprise.
It's like a repetitive Homer D'OH moment.
If you don't like the fact you can't compete, and you don't want to drive the FWD stuff, just run a different event.

Give me an example of that in Manufacturer's Cup.I mean 50% of those are GR4 races.How,using your logic,can anyone compete to those if he do not want to pick VW,Porsche or Renault?
By picking any of those three you are going to have an advantage in either GR3 or GR4.
Porsche is really strong in both classes.
Renault is king in GR4 and good enough in GR3.
VW has the second best car in GR4 and the best (in oval) GR3 that can be fast enough in other tracks too.
So people that dont want to race with those manufactures they should just ...skip the Manufacturers cup by your logic?And why?Because BoP is not working.Its not like there are "small" differences,we are talking about +5 sec differences in an under 2 min laps.

I am not whinning in any way,when I post that certain parts of the game do not work.
BoP,penalty/rating system are currently not working as they should.
I guess you are using only those cars so you have no problem,am I right?
