Lool # of manjis before the backwards entry doesn't matter. I do reverse entrys on accident sometimes, takes a lot more to do it on command. As far I see it challange completed, twice now

Your entry was nice but you snapped back and straightened out in the middle of the corner...

There was no snap back, I did not straighten out. You guys expect that on CS but watch close. I was able to clip the inside rumble strip just to make sure it doesn't happen

What? You're suppose to keep as much angle as possible when you enter a corner while drifting. The rumble strip is pretty much the clipping point on that hairpin.
Yet you were driving right on top of it. I still think you straightened out. Heck, your rear tires were on the grass as well.

Yeah except the CS can't keep the angle like CH, and the rear tires where not in the grass either. The point was that you can't do it on CS and I just did... I don't care about angle that was not the point.

im tired guys its over he put 3 videos of this crap on and yall cant stand defeat. we are not gloating or being in your face...well atleast im not. it shouldnt matter anymore, let it go

Yeah im leaving it where its at. They said it couldn't be don't well there is a video of it being done. End of the story.

angle schmangle CH kids need to unfog their specs because I only seen some dirt turbo on the entry the rest of the corner was spot on + that corner would have mangled any ch user in cat and mouse.

ch is for people who need a lil extra time to react to what's going on . . . yeah, that'll happen when you stumble from bong hit to bong hit.
like our friend in the video expressing his disdain for the lack of "cumfuh hawd" rooms . . . I thought he represented the "cumfuh hawd" subscribers pretty accuratley

He was full on the grass and had to turn back into the corner to re initiate. Not a very good argument to support CS...

Oh, and if you wanna complain, post a view from the back of the vehicle of the same run... Camera view was pretty shoddy...

cs is victorious by ko

Lol and everyone has their own opinion. BTW all the cs backwards entries weren't that good. You had no control over the car and then when you finally got it back the car just straightens out and youblose all drift. Thumbs down.

Like I said its not that hard to understand there was no snapback and the rear tires never hit the dirt, but its ok people don't want to accept that it just happend.

The way this thread turned out is funny... it quickly turned into that episode of "Moral Orel" where Orel's dad condemned the doppelganger neighbors to hell because their Lord's Prayer requested a forgiving of debts instead of trespasses:sly:...get this thru your head people, different tires demand different skillsets, and DogFightKingz one of the few CS tire users I feel comfortable tandeming w/ due to his command of the tires....Yes CS's will cause snapback easily, so tune for it...adjust your driving style, mess w/ your suspension setting, change your control interface(oh and for the doubters DFKingz is definitely using a wheel, DFGT to be exact), and practice for crying out loud and maybe you'll see that CS tires require a different learning curve than CH's...i personally prefer CH's myself, but i'm not above changing up the tire choice, heck, my Z32 is damn near uncontrollable on CH's so I'm going to have to use CM's or CS's on it to tame it. does this mean i'll stop using CH's? of course not, most teams and competitions require them, so they remain my goto tire...but seriously people, you don't like softs that much don"t drift w/ dogfightkingz, don't join his rooms, don"t read nor respond to his posts, and restrict your own rooms to stop the proliferation of the CS in its tracks lest it invade your home and murder your children, or whatever the hell else they'll be accused of....

Now that I got that out^^^, to the OP, my advice is try drifting on all the comfort tires to see what suits you best..I'll always recommend CH's simply because if you're looking to compete or join a team, those are the tires usually required...but Spec 2.0 is out so guess what, you can now have 3 different settings for your car, and well i'll be darned theres 3 different types of comfort tires...does anyone else see a solution there?:sly:

COMFORT SOFT FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ignorant kids can't admit defeat, because their precious noob tires have been dominated by the Comfort Soft master!! If you really had skill, and weren't depending on cheap tires for angle, then you would be able to achieve such angles with ANY tires. but you can't.. cause you're just another Comfort-Hard-Noob. you lost, get over it.

Now go practice with comfort softs so that then I can go own you with them, then you will say how those tires suck and wanna go use Sports Hard but little do you know im a master with THOSE and you'll get owned again. Then you'll start saying how Sports SOFT are the Pro tires (which they kinda are..) and you'll get OWNED AGAIN because I've been drifting with those for a while as well... face it, you suck at drifting and can only drift Hard Tires. go cry somewhere :yuck::ouch::indiff:

Thx mega.... I been practicing with both hard and soft, more soft cuz my car is tuned for the SnapBack but been on both and learning well. I have to say that learning on the cs tires are harder then learning on ch tires and that's good because imma get the most bang for my buck when training with harder wheels. The ch tires are also fun to drift with because I don't have to worry so hard about the entry and I can focus more on the throttle control and steering. I haven't touch the cm tires yet but I will. And I'm getting a whole lot better practicing on both.

I find the best way to tune my car is to race-drive the track on SH and tune the car to be an awesome track car.

then it works fine with every comfort tire though CH is a bit like "dry rain"

I deleted the video right after for a reason, because I want nothing more to do with a hachi roku on CS doing a single manji into a reverse entry. The video is there. What you see is what you get. You don't have to believe me I don't really care because I now it can be done, I just did it. CH people just don't think it can happen because they don't know the power of the CS, so they don't know what to expect, but if you have been drifting with the the CS as long as I have you would also know the true limits and see that im not arguing this for no reason. Also if any of the CH kids took any time to learn the limits of CS they would know that if my car straightened out or went completely into the grass it would have been obvious. The camera changes in less than half a second you cant even recover that fast. If you wish to see anything else you can just add my PSN and il show you live. End of the story.

Define pros tires? Are we still trying to compare a video game to real life? Lol

Yo it took you forever to add me and when u finally did it was time for work seeing as in japan it is 436pm so now that i have u i will make time to come drift with you and you kingness of cs tires lol should be fun im sticking to ch tho mabey ill slap some mediums on my viper and see how that goes if your still to almighty god fast and angley then ill try out cs tires, how about some autumn ring mini reverse tandem session... if its possible we will swap out every few laps and i to am i dfgt user only been driftin 5 months but we will see how i do eh... cheers

Quote for truth.

I was expecting that would happen. The so unwanted "slip" that you CS users think is too "unrealistic" was exaclty the diference between achieve or not a perfect entry in that corner. If you try some more times and throw the powerslide farther of the corner apex, maybe you can do it.

Anyways congratulations for the single manji achievement, at least. I didn´t imagine that CS could do even that.

And for the other guys who are using harshy words, remember that the diference between stay in the community and get suspended is a click in the report button.

Truth brother and for those thinkin that i cant drift and keep up door to door behind a slow or fast car, we had a little event today that lazy can surely vouch for also lazy i wonder if a cs car could do that section without stalling or gripping up... hmm the next cs/ch challenge seeing as that is just as likely a perfect twin battle section... hmmm interesting

I would assume stiffer susp and more camber due to more traction w/cs tires as is my setups consist of .... stock lol 3.5 camber front and rear, fully low susp... thats it and often times stock damper and spring rates are quite soft in comparison to the average drift car. Gives the car alot of traction for control... so i guess u could say simulates a grippier tire.. shocks sqaut when power is applied dampers realease evenly without allowing super snap slip and allows for more full throttle which in turn allows more stability and speed

Well, all I have to say is you guys probably have problems. I occasionally used to use soft tires on my car, sometimes I didn't even notice and could still tandem with hard users. If you learned on hard tires, you are good on hard tires. If you learned on soft tires, you are good on soft tires.
Anyway. I will give my opinion on the video.
It was good. I don't know what else you guys expect. For one Slick is not using a Dual Shock controller and you should take that into consideration instead of just jumping on his posts and he has no E brake to use if you he needed it on his wheel which is another thing to take into consideration and a wheel is overall harder to use so you can't expect anything perfect. If you own a wheel and have just started using or have become good at it, you know how it is somewhat a challenge at first and then you learn and you still mess up on occasions so I think you guys should give Slick some credit because he is great at drifting.
