Just thought about something... What about those locked photomode locations that are shown in the opening menu?

Also, they show Premium AND Standard cars in those locations, yet you can't take pictures of standard cars in photo travel

In GT4, the fourth turbo provided the best power, but the fifth turbo (called original I think) provided better response.

It was pretty much a stage 4 turbo with the the stage 3 response.

Thanks for clarifying that. That would mean that these turbos aren't new.

What would be the point to release premium cars as standard via OCD now?

I don't see any point either yet we've seen at least six of these Premium to Standard cars released into the OCD in the past few months.
They may be welcomed by collectors but I see no other advantage in owning one.

Epic work, shame on PD!

(ok, maybe a little harsh, but looking more and more true by the minute)

If I remember correctly, there was a thread awhile ago where someone compared standard cars to their premium versions on the track. They compared the Mustang 05 with the premium Mustang, the two M5s, the Ford GTs, etc. They found that the standard car was usually quicker than the premium car. To support that, I've gotten better times in the standard Lotus Esprit '02 compared to the premium version. Also, I've noticed that the Ford GT (No Stripe) was quicker than the Ford GT 2006. The differences in performance is a good reason to buy the cars.

"I don't think PD works really hard on GT5 after release. May be they are spending most resources on GT6."

If this is true, i would wish for PD to finally start releasing more DLC/Updates regulary. Now that sorg has kindly released this information, The GT5 community should start to talk more and get PD to listen.

That's a good one.

I don't get this either. I mean, GT5 is the only game I have ever played that has been updated as much as it has over it's lifespan. Most developers do free bug fixes for a year with a couple DLC packs and then kill it for the next title that comes out the following year.

PD has put so much into this thing already. I wouldn't be surprised to hear them stop with the updates soon just so they can work on GT6...

Unless you are comparing cars that have been downgraded from Premium to Standard your statement is moot. The cars you are comparing are not the same models as the ones being mentioned. Those cars you mentioned,as well should not be expected to perform side by side either. The Ford GT(no stripe) is an '05 while the other you mention is the GT'06. Fair?...

I honestly just don't see the point that.

Why not, it'll be awesome and a lot of fun. You don't have to use it if you don't want to, but it'll be kind of cool being able to show up stock super cars in what looks like an ordinary civic. ANd 2000BHP+ Lambo probably wont be the best thing to go around a track in, but you always have the option, and it'll be good for drag racers. Also we can agree that some cars could do with a bit more power even after the stage 3 upgrades. BUgatti Veyron...LOL:lol:

Good work man! Can finally replicate some higher horsepower cars like a Toyota Supra with 1250+ HP, or a Holden Commodore with 1000+ HP!

Well, if PD wasn't reading these boards they definitely are now. Makes me wonder out of the hundreds of guests viewing this thread how many of them were Sony/PD related.

Part of me is a little disappointed that there is perhaps a HUGE update/DLC coming probably for 2013 and this is all the things PD is going to do - but would've rather seen it from the source than a hacker. My hopes are as high as the Hindenburg.

You guys do realise that yes what Zorg did shows what PD never put in GT5 and that it could possibly be a big thing coming. But needles to say it's stepping over the boundaries of PD and can cause a stir with PD and Kaz. Kaz may never have wanted anyone to reveal this information and could very well take action, Such as dropping GT5 of seasonals DLC and updates aswell as taking action to GTP for posting this thread. I'm just scared Kaz will be furious at this when he sees this.

I was thinking the same thing. Doing what sorg is doing for ones own private curiosity is one thing, but putting your findings on a public forum for the world to see is kinda walking a thin line as far as I'm concerned. Kaz could very well of not wanted any of this stuff that the OP has uncovered to be seen, let alone made public. Just my feelings on the matter.

Kaz is probably viewing right now.
Wat up kaz? So, is this going into GT5 or what?
Serious Note: These additions would be very cool, and I am sure that much more people would play and enjoy the game. It would make it atleast twice as fun. Why not?

Well, if someone at PD is reading, well... those hidden features are something that most of us want in GT5... and, the upgrades doesn't seem hard to implement... the basics are already in game, it's just a matter of re-doing some UI graphics (for tuning shop) and adding some lines of code (mostly tweaking and activating them). Open all options for all cars! Why I can't install a turbo on my lambo? LET ME DO IT! So easy, so good. Impossible right now. :(

Something so simple, would make us VERY, VERY, VERY HAPPY and inject some new life in GT5... I would test all of my 1000+ cars with those new options, that means months of more gameplay.

If GT6 will be really a PS4 game, it'll take long to come by... so, I would love to have new stuff to play with in GT5 meanwhile.

Who doesn't?

"oh no, they should focus 100% on GT6."

Why they can't put 10-15 people on the team working on these "new" stuff for GT5?

These tuning options + some small fixes demanded by the community for long time (such as raising the level of AI on GT mode just like Arcade), point-to-point tracks on Course Generator, expanding all wheel options for all cars would make already an E P I C Spec-III, making our beloved but sometimes incomplete GT5, shine in the end of its life. It deserves it.

I hope PD make some of this happen. :)

I wonder how these codes were found though. Like, i know sorg found 'em but... And how long were they there. & gosh, the c7, this, whats next?

Depends on if his computer has a special software in it he could read the files but might not get picture of the 2 redbulls. Now his PS3 might be as they say jailbroke and very well bypassed the disk code and did it that way. I'm no geek I'm a circuit racer so I'm not sure.
