Yea, just look in the Market Place. First 3 threads all have "Glitched" in their title.
So you're saying hackers didn't think to try and look into the GT5 disc until sorg did?
Not saying anybody has got anywhere with it but now the idea and PROOF someone has cracked it, That I and my opinion think its a question of time that it will hit somewhere before long and then any thing thats available has DLC or bought/won will become available for FREE.
What really interests me is that Kaz recently stated....
"Every Gran Turismo version is actually very different and made from scratch; we really go back to the drawing board for a lot of things. GT5 isn't necessarily a continuation of GT4, and the next game won't necessarily be a continuation of GT5."
https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turis...e-kazunori-yamauchis-2012-gtplanet-interview/
Which kinda contradicts the code from previous versions theory for GT6.
What do you guys think?
But glitched how? Someone in there must know where/who they originally came from.
Going on circa early-2011 information, because I haven't bothered checking since, things that need to be bought off of PSN to be used need to be activated server side and installed on your PS3. Things that could be downloaded for free on PSN didn't have that limitation, but they still needed to be installed to be used and that also takes a hacked PS3. I'm doubtful that we will see the paid DLC be available for free.
I understand where your coming from. But not sure if they need to be activated or what but am speaking on behalf a group of people who have certain items that are DLC stuff.
And am going to destroy a few dreams here but some DLC paints. Have circulated too.
And they are usable. Plus tradable.
Like I say GT5 is dead long live Gran Turismo.
And please am speaking from some one who loves the GT series its just been killed within about a week or so.
Chat soon bye for now.
And I cannot say this enough please no one accuse me I just don,t do stuff like hacking.
But I will not sit there with something am given and not pass it to the next person.
Thats is why I set the thread up in question.
No one is accusing you of anything my friend. All I said was that whoever the first person was that started distributing these items, must surely know who gave them to them in the first place. And even then, that person might not even be the hacker.
And because of how PD implemented the DLC in the game, it's not terribly surprising that if you can disable the trade restrictions you can send those cars/paints/suits/helmets out to those who don't have them. But that's almost certainly something that can be fixed because PD set it up that way in the first place. We can probably expect a patch post haste to do nothing but that, in fact.

I know mate but history would tell you my thread was the first out there with an untradable car which was won in the Academy 2012 time events.
So by power of deduction there is going to be a lot of pointed fingers?
Anyway folks, Like I say great thread loved every minute of it but hackers will be hackers and given the idea this thread provided by putting the information out there that items could be found on the disc it opened the door for every Tom Dick and Harry to do what Sorg has done.
What else can I say?
Chat soon bye for now.
EDIT: On another little note while am at it anyone who missed out on the Academy car for some reason I think theres a couple floating around the markeplace.

What that does not mean is that this hack will lead to everyone being able download the DLC to their PS3s and use it as if they actually bought it themselves (ie., they have the tracks, and the cars are available in the dealerships, and etc.).
What does this mean? Anyone who has continued playing GT5 to this point likely isn't doing so because of the DLC offerings that this exploit will temporarily be able to circumvent, nor will it likely effect PD's already drip-fed DLC offerings in the future.
If PD drops GT5 support tomorrow, it will almost certainly have far more to do with the fact that the game came out 2 years ago and diminishing returns are very much in effect than because of this.
Ok then, let me ask you this. Since you were the first known person to distribute that item, where did you get it from? I know you don't have to tell me, but surely its a question others may want an answer to.

Ummm snitches get stiches....No real point in figuring who sent to whom and when they sent it to whom. It is already out and circulating at a fairly rapid pace.
Like a nasty little virus
Harmless or not, circulating something that is supposed to be untradable item seems not right to me. I think if PD knows this, they might fix it on the next update.
at ditches... better line for the next time
If they do X it out on the servers then no real harm but, just a party foul by PD/Sony.
As for finding the WHOM, it has been an interesting week so why even aid on a witch hunt and make it easier for PD/Sony to find the WHOM. Let the WHOM be, as no real harm has been generated from this. Even untradeable paints getting out is harmless as you cannot re-buy the paint packs. If the DCL cars gets out...that would be crossing the line as I for one have yet to purchase them all (YET).
So PD/Sony is not losing money but actually gained more interest IMHO via Free adverstisement of GT5.

If its in my garage it will be in someones else before I got the dust sheet off it.
Sorry for putting it like that. Been a hard day.
But why I put the thread initially was to ask people I have a car thats untradable blah blah blah told them its tradable otherwise I wouldn,t have it?
Then I got loads of request for the ticket so I started a train to get it moving.
I pass to someone they pass to next and so on?
I guess with me doing that lots have it now.
But imagine all the people who missed out on the Academys they can have it too. Plus those who are not very good at the time trails where we got the ticket of PD has a gift for getting GOLD. And don,t forget them who didn,t even have the chance to enter the event?
Correct me if am wrong but that event didn,t go out to all parts of the world.
Until recently and then am still not sure.
And what happens when the next car comes out what someone glitchs from all this valuable information. That will circulate too. By who I don,t know but it will move just like other stuff have.
Chat soon bye for now.
I know what glitch has been used for GT Academy cars to trade. This works only on non-DLC cars with price under 1mil (all GTA cars have price, and all of them are <1mil). So, this glitch is limited to GTA cars only.
DLC cars are safe and won't be spread this way. Even, if someone will trick his GT5 to send DLC car, it will be disabled on received PS3 if no such DLC installed.
I'm not sure at 100% how >1mil cars are banned from trade on PD servers, but by some evidence i have, cars banned by their ID, not by price.
It means, PD can stop GTA cars trading even without issuing any update. Just put all GTA cars into banned database by couple mouse clicks on their server.
It only depends on how PD are lazy.
They always have there spies on this site. Too many good things come from here and there jealous. (Joke.)I that's what will happen when PD knows about these so called glitch trade, they might be lurking around here checking
The easiest thing for PD to do would simply be to ban all users that have one of these unreleased items. That would instantly stop all of that content from spreading.
Look at your log, or a friends – all that info resides on their servers.
