No, the Standard versions of Premiums don't feature in the table of cars that the UCD is "drawn" from. And your first question was answered in the post you're quoting. ;)

EDIT: Oh those Standard Premiums have appeared in the OCD, but I don't know if they came in the colours you're after. Best try the marketplace?
Already have.

Yea i know some PSP imports were introduced in the OCD and im wondering if those cars in them colors were ever used in the OCD or planning on being used by chance. Lets see what sorg can find...

If they've been in the OCD, they'll be on the marketplace (or someone will know, at the very least).
Sorg cannot discover what will appear in the OCD in future - that's controlled server-side by PD.
Don't expect Sorg to go digging through the thousands of paint codes just to find these for you... to do what with? Are you expecting him to trade them with you? Isn't there a potential issue for his PS3s and / or accounts if he does and somebody notices?

Anyway, if you wait long enough, the "unobtainable" paints will start to appear now that we know it's possible to "spawn" them in the same way as it is "unobtainable" cars...

Sorg have you found any hidden rims? Or ones with different names that have never been seen?

I could've swore some time back he did this already. SimonK has a post with all of sorg's posts combined into one a few pages back, check there.

Is the "white" paint chip from Gran Turismo attached to anything, or do i have to keep shooting blind to find one?

Open a ticket with an unpainted RM car, you should get one 👍

My surname is in it. Might just have to find a bspec driver tonight with it.

Mine too. And i got lucky one time. Too bad I don't use that online Id anymore.

^That'd be cool

Also, I read (in this thread) that Ferrari doesn't want their F1s to be raced along with regular cars. Why is this so?

It's not Ferrari, it's the FIA. Gran Turismo doesn't have a Formula 1 racing license so they can't have the F1 cars racing any other cars, only each other.

Makes enough sence. At any rate, would you rather have Red Bull, Mclauren, or Ferrari F1 cars anyway?

Sorg, great work you have been doing.

I have one question:
Can you decrypt GT5 replay data in a way to make possible for us to export the race log?

Decrypt - yes (it's just the same save of game as others). Parse data - no. Replay is just a big binary data with unknown structure.

Parse data - no. Replay is just a big binary data with unknown structure.

It is because *Replay data* is actual GT Game Code - replay is basically a repeated gameplay itself, only driver does not drive but game *replay* driver's stored position/speed (data that Data Logger actually uses) and replays them in real-time within the game-engine.

That is the reason why actual replay data-size is so small (in kb) in all GT games - it is *just* actual engine binary-data that engine *loads* and then *replays*.

It is not some kind of readable *file*. In GT5 we can opt for "exporting" that data for XMB - which is the best thing that minority uses - in order to "share" replays. It is done through compressing the basic-binary data into stand-alone file which is then de-compressed once uploaded from receiver and game again replays the same code in game engine.

If one would *decrypt* that data, it would have GT source engine code basically. But it couldn't be done, because one would have to have actual "decrypter" on his side - source engine.

So GT Replays is not CG?

Thanks for the explanation.
I wonder in how would be possible for us to get access to the race data logs in a similar way that online bspec mode gives us.

Best thread in this forum by far, good work sorg, you're a champ!
I will say it was a hell of a read trying to get past people bickering, speculating and posting 'wishlists', it was a good thing someone put all sorgs posts together, or it would've taken me all night to read lol

Sorry. I guess I mis-understood him then because in your thread it says this, "The Used Car Dealership (UCD) follows a pre-determined list of cars" and then he just said, "I didn't doubt in this from first days i've used GT5. I don't know where those people got idea of pre-generated list." I just got confused with what he was saying I guess.

The list is pre Set, now were you start off on that said list is random..
