Sony Gamescom press - GT6 appearance

Their track list is going to look seriously awesome. I hope most of these make it into the release game. If it all ends up as DLC...at least hopefully it'll be cheap.

Funny how people only see what they want to see.

It is funny how they are only singling you out yet you weren't the only one that stated not liking the concept cars.

Not really a fan of those liveries and GT windshield logos on cars that aren't racing models. Takes away something visual to me...

What's this car?

???

Looks consistent with the rear shots in the same segment.

EDIT:

It's a BMW 507.

You see a silver 507 later on in the trailer, and the back of the real one in my picture matches what you see of the red car.

So, 507 it is. Looks exactly like it.

So with Apricot seemingly confirmed in the game that truly throws their previous numbers out of the window. So did they publish the wrong numbers by accident or did they just add more tracks than they thought? Either way quite the cock up but in a good way.

I said this before, maybe its like how with GT5 when they announced 1,000 cars when it was really around 1,030ish.Maybe its just an estimate for tracks aswell, but then again there are way less tracks than cars so I don't know.

Yeah, let's crucify him.
Can we !?!? :dopey:

****ing PD is soo out of touch... Horrible presentation.
PD did an amazing job with this, it was the person with the camera that is to blame. That trailer was one of the best trailers I have seen from PD since GT4 IMO.

Also I have no problem with concept cars. I like them a lot.

OMG! That trailer was full of pure awesomeness! I can't believe all of the cars that were comfirmed in one, clean sweep! Concept Cars, the Mk. 1 Ford GT40 returns, the shelby cobra daytona coupe returns, Ford Shelby GT500, premium C2 Corvette, premium Europa, BMW Z8, Audi R18, & so much more. Apricot Hill at night, holy fricken cow! Yup, I'm preordering this game!

Next tracks : Barthust and Seattle ?

I'm happy for Aprico Hills and Brands Hatch ! We will know more informations after maintenance of official site.

If both of these are Brands Hatch, it looks like it'll be a weather track. Sunny weather is in the first and cloudy in the second.

Actually, the sun is facing to the front of the cars, I don't know how Brands Hatch is, but I'm betting for day/night cycle

It would really suck to see any of those tracks as DLC, they're clearly done and with a December release date the game is clearly not going gold for another two months at least.

It is funny how they are only singling you out yet you weren't the only one that stated not liking the concept cars.

Indeed, ah well no skin off my nose.

True but they usually do go with vague "Over...." numbers, this time they gave us specific, fixed numbers that are now clearly wrong. Odd but as I say it's in a good way, we're seemingly getting more tracks.

@granturismo916 i think that's a fisker karma, shadows are hiding the middle part between the grilles a bit.

The brief shots of Apricot did look really good, almost like a new track in the sense that it looked like it had been updated to appear more like a real world track, hence me thinking on first glance it was a real track. Day/night is also excellent news of course.

Lets just hope those AI are updated. GT5 made them look competitive in their advert videos. Let's hope those crowds of cars actually race each other and the player.

Although, when I look at that pack of cars, they're all random classes thrown together...

@Samus - Agreed, lets just hope there wasn't a track layout change like the one that slaughtered our Rome circuit!

That home stretch looks familiar though :D!

Great news: the Audi R18 appears!

Bad news: rather than announcing exciting cars, PD sad to designer, even from Nike, "you know what, go insane, draw whatever you like and we'll put it into the game".

There's a lot of X2010s coming, my friends. And, I don't know, but the "real" driving simulator could do better with less fantasy cars.

What was the mention of Vision Gran Turismo?

Long ago it used to be their tagline of what they plan to achieve in the future GT games. It's where they showcased their concept.

But seeing ready builds in the trailer, I think they blurred the line for this one.
