They showed that, and THEN the Nike logo itself.
What was that city track at 2:07?
Most likely to not be a track, but a photomode location, it is the city of Ronda, in Spain

Is nothing new:I'd like to hear more about this, because it sounds a little bit fishy.
Pretty much anything could be used for visual tests. That's just display software. Sure, GT5/6 looks really nice, but when computing power isn't a problem (it's not like an manufacturing R&D department is only going to be able to afford one PS3) you can probably do as well with anything else. And they're still going to have to build physical clay models and the like, because having it on a computer screen just isn't the same as the real thing.
Simulation is more interesting, and if they can just plug in numbers to GT and get meaningful results out of it that's great. I'm dubious though when so many of the sliders in GT5 have arbitrary values rather than real world numbers, and the GT5 physics systems have known non-trivial flaws.
I'd like them to go into a lot more detail before I'd take those statements as anything more than marketing.

Wait, did I miss it or was Driveclub not featured in this?
Strange that the car seemed to actually be DRIVING in a photomode location. PD is confusing...

That's actually happened 2 times. Once with a Corvette C7, now a premo Stratos.

As has been pointed out already (two months ago), there are rumble strips around that area. So it can either be a Photo Travel location and a "Course Maker" map or only apart of the "Course Maker" map. That's actually happened 2 times. Once with a Corvette C7, now a premo Stratos.

In the GT5 special events, isn't one of them where you have to drive from location to location? I almost suspect they've made cutscenes when you end a leg, showing the car arriving at a photo location, which you then go to take a picture of and now we're seeing that cutscene.
lol. 387 people viewing this thread xD
Anyways, am I the only one curious about the Cizeta with the vinyl? That's not a gamestop pre-order like the Viper and Focus so how could that have a special paint? Livery editor? I hope :3
In the same trailer?
Really excited about Brands Hatch being in the game, as I actually live about 30mins away from there and we go there maybe twice a year.
One thing I noticed in the trailer was this:![]()
This is an Audi R8 LMS (probably ultra), but it's not in the Bilstein colours of the Phoenix car we have already. Something new? Blue got me thinking it's a Sainteloc car, but I don;t think it matches. The blue is not the right shade for the PS Vita liveried Phoenix car either.
