My wallet just took the hit:banghead:, the t300rs is ordered and in the mail as I type:D
Not sure if I'm nervous or excited yet:scared: I truly love my setup but I guess it's time to move on from the gt driving force. I will be passing the wheel on to my old man so he can thrash it till the end, haha.
You will be happy with the wheel its FFB is great and it has a good quality. I tested at gamescon in cologne pedals are **** though but they are on all wheels besides the fanatec ones. I dont think different wheels will make you faster. You just feel better and get more consistent

Ok, I just picked up the latest issue(2nd) of SIM RACER Magazine.
There's a great article on Project Cars. Also in the issue is an article about what Arveena was talking about.
The SIM RACING expo held at the Nurburgring in conjunction with round 4 of the REAL BLANCPAIN SPRINT SERIES.

A great amount of pictures. So Arveena, which one were you?

:gtpflag:Ok, Gentlemen :gtpflag:

LETS TALK SAFETY

January 15 we race at Daytona

High speeds 170+ and Turn 1

Turn 1 also marks the exit area of pit lane.

Your first priority is checking for on coming traffic

Looks like a Z4 coming at 170+ MPH.

DON"T STOP AND DON"T BE AN IDIOT AND JUMP IN FRONT OF HIM.

Continue on using the correct left pit lane exit designed for the race track.

As you can see, another car is making it's way through turn 1.

Get up to speed and merge with the traffic.

If you need, practice as many times as you want. Because if you cause the accident. I'm sure the other drivers will let you know.

On page 83/my signature I've included a simple track map.
Print it out and make notes. It has a simple outline of the pit lane.

A week before the sim racing expo there were the nationals in GT i was a lot at the ring last summer. I tested all racing sims with a lot of wheels and i got to say GT is still up there. It is difficult to say which one is the best. Because the feeling is always different.
The worst in my opinion is race room. I dont know its just a weird physics in my opinion understeery but it hase awesome sounds.
Ac has great physics but you need to be a bit to Smooth in my opinion. Aggressive driving gets punished hard.
Pcars looks amazing but it feels a bit arcadish. I was lapping fast lap times from the start and did not improve that much with time than i do in GT for example.

Which isnt that bad because racing sims tend to overdo the physics. For example told me the russian winner of gta. That the gt3 gtr nismo is way easy to move at the limit in reallife than in GT. Only on RH which are the tyres the gt3 are designed for.

If project cars fixes a few things i guess it will be the benchmark for gt7. But i have high hopes for gt7. Gt6 in my opinion beats race room and is on par with ac.

i wouldn't mind a fun journey around the ring doing this

:drool:Are you FKN serious!! Nurburgring with SNOW! I did not know it could happen, I already have a HARD time on this track with no weather and I find it really challenging with rain, but with SNOW!!

GT7 better bring this cause I'm in awe with this video right now!!:bowdown:

Manny, I have many (maybe) questions for you about the elgato and recording. I finally got it all working and picture showing but the recording is seriously choppy and I want to know if you had this problem and how you fixed it.

:gtpflag:Alright Gentlemen :gtpflag:

Tonight around 7:30 PM EST Daytona time

The Daytona Road Course will be open for a 30 minute race starting at 8:00 PM EST.
Last night we did a practice(30 min) race at 11:00 PM EST Daytona time.

:cheers::cheers::cheers:

Just heads up. There will be no as usual practice racing this Monday Night.
I'll be in 'The_EH_Team_43' room trying my hand at driving a Toyota Celica

:nervous::nervous::nervous::nervous::nervous:

No need to be afraid, the Celica is something of a housecat compared to you. The littlest one has the biggest bite though. That little Lotus Elan is like a super Lion, it's not very nice at all.

Hey guys, I've been submersed in my new Ps4 that my wife gave me for Christmas. Graphics are amazing on every game I've played so far. Drive Club is fun, graphics are amazing, but still not even close to sim handling on Gt6. The game is fun though and I keep going back to it because of the beauty of the driving senery, view and experience. I'm so pumped up for GT7 now after seeing the capabilities of this machine. I' m a Gamer too and really enjoy The Crew, which has been really fun. It's a combo of GTA and racing but again not a sim.(Very additive game though). Driving skill is still very needed and very important in this game but the cars handling is not Gt6(but what is). Driving skill from gt6 that you have acquired gives you a big advantage in these games. If any one is on the fence about branching out early to get the ps4, worry not if you get Drive Club and The Crew to pass some time when your looking for something else to do. I'm a fan of the PS4 and these two games and I think you all will be too. I hope my insight helps someone and look forward to seeing you back on the track on GT6 soon.

Project Cars.
Most of us will be transitioning to Project Cars in March. At least the Hard core racers will.

I'm already working on races. Imola, Donnington Park, Watkins Glen, and Road America come to mind.

I'm spending more time watching the Project Cars forum now.

I just ordered a second T500RS and will be ordering the Ferrari F1 wheel add-on soon.

I should have my surround sound sound set up by the time of Project Cars' release.

Gran Turismo 7 will come, but until then Project Cars will be my team's main focus.

The race at Spa-Francorchamps in March will probably be the last race I host.

This Thursday night will be the last Casual Night I will race in.

My PS4 is now over a year old and it's ready to be put to the test.

So hang in there. I won't be far behind you and those that attended last night and tonight's practice race at Daytona will agree.

Project Cars: March 2015.

Tiger's endurance races will move to a new jungle.

Will someone continue this club in gt6? And who is going to move to pcars.
I dont have money for a ps4 right now. Because i also need to buy a new wheel for the ps4. And i want to gieve GTA another try this year. So i wont touch pcars until then.
Would be sad if the club dies. Because you guys made me a better racer gave me consistency etc.

I'll still be around for quite some time for you to lap Arveena!!
No plans for Ole as will need triple ps4s -- ProjectCars looks promising - but uncertain at this point and GT7 years away...
GT6 is all I play really - so don't need ps4 for other games...

I'll be racing solo Thursday nights for years to come hahahaha

The S.A.C. Club will still be here.
Casual Nights will never change. In fact I expect it to grow with every week is 'Casual Night.'

My new work hours will free up time to concentrate on my Events. I have enough hardcore racers who want to keep my planned events going. So the best solution for the club is to offer two forms of racing once a month. Casual and Serious.

It is unfair and selfish for me to expect them to wait. two weeks to get together.
