It's X-Box not PlayStation but I'd still eat it.

@tarkus1, I've just read your PSN message regarding the FGT race.

There is a bug in GT6 which can cause players to get stuck in the pits. It seems to affect the host more often than anybody else. Leaving mandatory pit stops switched off seems to help. If you did that, we can still all agree to pit at least once without it being in the settings.

Due to my recent Silverstone issues I'll use my other PS3, so my name will be St_Bridge44.

Tarkus, how do you feel about Buffalo Chicken Pizza? Great in premise, but haven't yet found the right one. The one Buffalo Chicken Pizza that sets the bar. They have all been kinda 'meh' in my experience.
I know I've strayed off the GT6 topic but here we go anyway.
I love Buffalo chicken pizza but have only found it in one place. I don't know if you guys have Ledo's Pizza chain out west but that's where I first experienced it. I couldn't say if it's great as it has been a while but these days I can't have pizza without some buf wing sauce on top. I sure wish I could find a place around here that had buf pizza but Ledo's is the only one and it's not very close to me, which is why its been a while.

I don't think I"ll make it mandatory anyway. Judging by the tire wear, there's going to be a few pits needed anyway during that hour. No need for me to state it's mandatory I guess.

🤬 you MARKus1 alien....

not from MARS but outerspace!!!!
oh no no no. The most I could do is merely orbit the earth a few times. And that's only b/c I had some help and spent a couple hours practicing. Of course when the actual race comes I'll still end up in the back of the pack where I belong.

Oh wait a minute... did I say 1:31? It was supposed to be 2:31. Yeah, now that's the Tarkus we're familiar with.

So with the help of @MannYhAvitZ @Blackmagic60 and @jr4737 I was able to get my lap time down to 1:31:7.
Of course that's during solo testing with no tire wear. Either way, thanks guys!!!!! All the help was greatly appreciated.
I'm going to have to do some practice one night this week too. If anybody else is doing some more, I'll try to jump in with you.

In the recent seasonal event with the FGT at Silverstone I didn't do enough laps to get anything better than a sloppy lap but by an amazing coincidence my 2 sloppy laps on my 2 PS3's were separated by 0.001 seconds & 1 position in the world rankings!

Some inspiration for our race on Thursday.
@IMMORTALPILOT shows us how it should be done.

Interesting that he stays tight to the kerbs on the long tight corners (47 seconds into the video, particularly). I would have thought it was better to come away a bit in the middle & then come back in to the kerb, in a double apex way. Undoubtedly he knows better though, an absolutely amazing lap.

awesome and thanks for sharing.

I think its also rather incredible that you managed to get your time within .001 seconds of each other. Never happen again in a million years.

I had the ghost off because the blue lines were distracting but my own blue line would have been ahead & behind at various points, the laps I did in that event were jam packed with errors & loss of control.
It certainly wasn't consistency that created my result, just a freakish convergence at the finish line.

GGGAAAAHHHH!!!!!!! Broke my gas pedal last night!!! Got the hardware to fix it and now the throttle isn't registering.
