d24/7, the following are FF's over 400hp.

Mitsubishi Eclipse '95 (need 10.0km)
Mitsubishi Eclipse '06 (can get 500hp)
Alfa GT 3.2
Alfa GTV 3.0
Alfa 147GTA
Alfa 156 2.5 V6
DC2 Honda Integra Type R
DC5 Honda Integra Type R
Ford Focus RS
Honda Accord V6 (US Type).

That's off the top of my head. There's a lot of them hovering around the 370-390hp mark too.
Dodge SRT-4 is 511hp

Yeah, the SRT is a gimme though stidriver, we all know that's the most powerful FF in the game. ;)
Road car yes it is, but the Honda Integra Touring race car makes 539hp. But it's not that fast around the tracks. It's powerband is just to small and the car has big time wheel spin problem.

Bah! I'm being left behind. I've cracked a 1:37.344 but I'm still trying to get the balance right with my tuning. I got a car that works well through some sections but not others.

181bhp and full weight.

EDIT:
Ditched the weight and I'm playing with a new base. Just kicked out a 1:35.038.

It's about time I was competitive in one of these spot races.

I'm way behind now. Sort of expected since it's a track I don't go to often and a car I haven't driven often.

I will work on it more today.

EDIT: I changed my setup and got a new best lap 1:36.242.

But I was still wondering why everyone is 1+ seconds faster than me. :boggled: Then I remembered the rules "everything but a wing", so I thought, he didn't say no to nitrous. 💡

Put nitrous on, changed the final drive gear and ran a 1:34.394. :D

Can I join the fun, gentlemen? :P Just ran a lap with the stock car, and S3 tires in Arcade Mode. Got a 1'38.929. Will try my best for this competition (if you allow me to get in :)).

Thanks 👍

It's in gt mode though, and N2o is ok too, since it doesn't add overall power.

Adam I just found a good tune

Cool. I may have time to make another run. 1:33's are definately within reach with the setup I got now.

EDIT: I cranked the nitrous up to a 100 shot and ran a 1:33.058

I think I'll settle for fastest non nitrous record. I can only make about 3 runs before I have to stop and recharge so it's a bit inconvenient for me. Normally I make about 5-10 laps before I can get into a decent groove.

I did around 1'32.400-500 with the Nitrous. Pretty easy, wheelspin is not a big problem. I still have to tune it to 200hp, or leave it like that. I don't want to imagine the wheelspin! :scared: But the car corners well. CamryFan, I'm with you in that. I will give it a shot with non nitrous record, since I find pretty boring to spray it all the time.

Well you got a 1:35.038 to beat for non-nitrous which I'm sure you''ll beat. Damn I was looking forward to having the non-nitrous category to myself.

Well, Mr., You've got yourself some competition :mischievous: I still have to do the last weight reduction, change the transmission, tweak the suspension, and of course, increase the power.

EDIT: Previous time unacceptable. Ran it with wing. I thought I read that the wing was allowed... No matter, I will run again.

New Edit: Ran it without the wing, without nitrous, at 197 hp, with every modification except transmission. Need some suspension tuning yet, and so far 1'34.739. So, I will continue with the suspension tuning. The LSD seems alright.

New Edit: Changed one number. Now new time: 1'33.938. Awesome.

You better do it fast, Mafs  Okay, new time: 1'33.430. I know I can make it go faster. Extremely close to the walls, mind you. But a lot more comfortable than the Mini of the 1'33.938.

By the way... Does someone else think it's a bit unfair this way? I mean, how will we judge the winner? Not everyone is the best driver of Gran Turismo 4. I'm not saying I'm the sharpest driver of the bunch, but I do can say that this is a very subjective challenge, as far as this goes. ;)

Well my Mini will need some tweaks to it before I'm 100% comfortable with it, don't worry I'm gonna get you (hopefully) but yeah this is this is the way its always been done so I suppose it's a good reason to practice your racing lines.

I'll make a few more attempts at this.

My suspensions setup is great but gearing could use some work. On my 1:33.058 lap I was bouncing off the rev limiter in 6th down the back straight before the dogleg. 1:31's may be possible.

Just checked out my replay, and seems like I barely touched the wall. I could do 1'33.474, but that is not an option to me. Besides, I can see that in the very first sector, I'm faster, so I will give it a shot, and hopefully, reduce the time by about .200 :) BTW: This is a great way to increase posts  Now I know why you have so many. :mischievous:

The point of the SRC is to have constant battles going on, so the post count will always keep ticking over. So as soon as ones done, and anyone has anything else thought of, they put it up and another SRC gets underway straightaway.

And don't worry about me if I'm late, my setup's there, it just needs to be driven around Opera Paris hard, which would take about 10 minutes to do. :P

 Yeah, I always noticed that every two minutes, a new post emerged in here. So I thought "Why don't give it a shot?". Well, here's my new time, in a 100% clean lap, with the same previous setup: 1'33.030 I knew I could make it faster! :) Of course, no nitrous ;) I'm struggling to make it faster right now, since now comes tuning and not so much driving. :indiff:
