So long as you don't postpone it forever, I don't see any real issues. And you better do something good with that Spirit R then if you're doing that as priority over this. :sly:

But you better get together with the rest of your MTN crew and see what all four of you can do against little old me. ;) I feel like I'm going to be competing against a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest. :P
 
Well, I figured I'll get a jumpstart with this DC2R tune. Preliminary top speed of just off 240mph (239.20mph or 384.94km/h to be precise). Now that's with only 1/2 hour of tuning. I'll concentrate on the acceleration part of it tomorrow.

You have NO hope of catching me mazdaman unless you get more than 240mph. :cool:
 
That wasn't the challenge I put out as it was to prove to the 'client' that he picked the wrong side. But if you're going to do that, then okay....we'll wipe BOTH the slates clean and do it this way:

DC2R vs DC2R. Any year, so long as it IS a DC2 Integra Type R.
Same three challenges - 400m, 1000m & Top Speed......one setup for all.

One week from today we will have BOTH our 'new' setups ready to test for the judges. No holding back, I don't want to face your S2 tyred car, I want a whole hog effort mazdaman with R5 tyres, NOS, the whole kit and caboodle.

May the best garage win. :cool:

P.S. You would want to make sure you can hit close to 11's and 230mph+ because my quick tune was setup as a car with heaps of room for improvement. :mischievous:


Now I'm confused..

I did the max speed, 1/4 mile and 1000m as posted before with results:

1. 400m time GME won
2. 1000m time GME won
3. Top Speed M.T.N won (when no nos was involved) othervice GME wins every part)

that's 2 very different cars with different parts installed and different setups ,
which makes one better for drag one better for max speed because it has no wing.
Parts installed were those told in the "sheets" , no oil changes ect.

I understood the latest posts like this:
you are making new setups going all out with these cars for max speed 400m and 1000m at the same time.

Not an impossible thing, but quite challenging. 👍

Yeah Max, he wants to redo this with fresh rides. So you'll have to do this all over again. :P

Plus it gives me an excuse to see how close I can take this DC2R to my previous personal best which was well over 240mph. NOS is to be used in all areas too just to let you know for the tests and I'll put down when and where to use the NOS for the top speed run for my car. 👍
 
Ok let me explain the dc2r was that i made was for top speed with no nos.On svx page he asked him if he wanted nos and the user said no he just wants top speed no nos.But i know have a tuned car for nos and also 1/4 mile and 1000m.

That was a nitrous test....off nitrous.....I will re-run some shorter gearing specs then but I was already over 190mph before the nitrous was hit on the current gearing, running 12's off nitrous. ;) That's no problem there, I said it took me 1/2hr of tuning to do that.....wow, gimme another 1/2hr and I'll do another version. :P

Also, for some fun, I went on Race Meeting at Test Course and hit the magical FF 400km/h mark after some clever slipstreaming behind an SLR Merc & Viper SRT-10. The draft from the SLR got me to 350km/h without nitrous and allowed me to use the nitrous at that part and use both cars slipstreams to get the magical 400km/h for a second or so. It's not an official 400km/h as it's not done on a Top Speed run like my DC5R and SRT-4 are but it proves that it's capable of doing it in the right conditions. 👍

I have a question is there any way we can get the supras on the 1/4 mile list like a heavy weight calss or something???
 
Our Supras? I don't have a digital camera so I can't prove the time.

And I have my Mk4 tuned, I'm testing it right now.

1) 5 days to go.. then I expect to see your bought setups ready and start the testing.
b) I have my setup figured and I'm starting the finetuning part. (This may actually become a 3-way face off , but only if you want to)

Then, the points for each category should be desided in advance.
For example

1/4 mile
14 seconds or more = Xp
13 seconds or less = Xp
12.5 sec or less = Xp
12.250 sec = Xp
12 sec or less = Xp

fastest time = ?p

same for 1000m
25 seconds or more = Yp
24 seconds or less = Yp
and so on...

fastest time = ?p

and for max speed

300 km/h or less = Zp
310 km/h or less = Zp
and so on...

highest top speed = ?p

(I'm going to judge the results with a point system like above, others may use it if want to.)

We know, it's just the way you said it. My Supra will come within a day or two, it's just about done.
 
So....all without NOS or with it??

To be honest im still deciding that and also im debating what car to run the 3.0mk3 version or the 2.5 one . I see no one really uses the 3.0 one and the 2.5 runs 7.15 on the ring with stock suspension.
