mazdaman, what the hell do you mean you're still deciding?!?! It's a very important bit of info to 'still decide' upon. You know what, stuff it. I'll do two cars, one NOS, one no NOS and still win with either car.

With the nitrous'd car:
*Does 12's on the 1/4 No NOS. Check.
*Does under 23's on the 1000m no NOS. Check.
*Does 240mph with the bottle attached and 190mph+ without it. Check.

Time to do a No NOS screamer today then. :cool:

Anyhow, I already told mazdaman, if he expects to have a chance at winning our Supra Challenge, his car must go Sub 6'30 at the 'Ring, low 10 second times on the 1/4 mile, and a 275mph top speed*, all with the same setup :sly:

*Nitrous used on 1/4 mi and Top Speed Challenge, but not on the 'Ring.

Yeah, I'm referring to our DC2R challenge. If I know what my goals are then I can build the car to achieve those goals, but I'm not providing one tune when the goals are for another set of parameters, ie. NOS or no NOS.

That's why if I have to do a second car for no NOS then so be it, because I'm already confident with the nitrous times on the 1/4, 1000m & Top Speed (12.0, 21.0 & 240mph) and off the bottle with that gearing it was still doing 12.8's, 22.4's & 190mph+ so readjusting the gearing for a more explosive run won't be much but I'd still like to know which way to go. I should get 200mph+ off the bottle without too much trouble though.

I was thinking of changing my score system to like this:
top speed (NOS)
300 km/h = 0.00 p
400 km/h = 200.00 p
Car X 344.98 km/h = 89.96 p

1/4 mile (NOS)
14.000 = 0.00 p
12.000 = 100.00 p
Car X 12.449 = 155.10 p

1000m (NOS)
22.000 = 0.00 p
20.000 = 200.00 p
Car X 20.449 = 155.10 p

Every goal would be equally valued.
best in each category would get 100 points.
better than max pts goal -> extra points using same method for scoring as before.
Guite simple, eh?

Okay, it's now night time and I've done some re-adjusting to the ratios, sacrificing some 400m time (about 0.2) for some much improved (0.7 better) 1000m splits. :cool: It's been a real challenge to do this in such a short time span but I think based on Max's point system I'll have a decent shot now overall. 👍

Expect to see my challenge car spec sheet in the next post or two. Just final refinement now is needed to make sure I get a consistent pace overall in every category.

Here at GME, we take great pride in being the first to 400km/h in a FF car, the first into the 11.6's with a FF and have brought you this multi-skilled DC2R for this SRC that has been taken to the end and back in performance to showcase our FF tuning prowess. Starting with a fresh 10.0km example, we have thrown everything into the B18C motor to give it 292Kw, and with the right setup and in the right conditions with slipstreaming a McMerc SLR & Viper SRT-10 has seen the magical quad ton figure which is amazing for a car packing under 400hp.

For this max speed run, without any other cars to help you, you will nudge the 230mph barrier. Just take off in 1st at redline, accelerate through the gears until you hit around 290km/h (180mph) in 5th and hit the nitrous from the start of the outer mesh fence about 400m before the tunnel, shifting into 6th at 328-330km/h.

For the straight line runs, you must launch in 2nd gear, period. A good launch is between the 7000-8000rpm levels and hit the nitrous. 👍 12.1's will be a snap with some decent launching for good 12.0xx times.

At M.T.N pimped out tunerz we build car on what the crowd wants.We build to many different syles such as drag,drift,circuit,top speed,endurance and etc.For the older version of the dc2 i have built it to run 1/4 mile and 1000 times very low but also to atleast hit the 200 mph barrier in the top speed run.For 1/4 mile runs rev the car to redline while hitting nos for a good launch.This should be capible with good shifting to run 12.1 and maybe around 12.0(depending on the test driver).I also want to tell the drivers i hope you have fun testing the car.
 
My car is faster in 5th than yours is in 6th!! You are so getting obliterated in this SRC with the max speed, I don't mind sacrificing a couple of tenths to get almost 40mph faster.

But, you are going for the bonus points....I can see your philosiphy. ;) I might quickly adjust the 2nd/3rd split for the 400m again. :P

I was gonna retune with a drag set up but sadly im not gonna be on all day:idea:Hey mafia boy and mad max would yall mind if i send my last retune tommorrow because im not goona be online for the day???
