LOL. The site just interprets the statement from the sony site that we have been discussing here for days and it becomes official?
I'm not saying cockpit cam view is in, it's not people get over it, I'm saying that some of you are so easily persuaded by anything and everything.

There's a huge difference in semantic and meaning of "Standard Car does correspond to the interior view" which is the title of this thread to how PD or SCEA's phrase of "Standard cars do not support vehicle interior camera views." Especially in the light that the discussion of this thread has been about cockpit view which in PD and SCEA term is referred to as "interior dash view" and that to me is quite different from "vehicle interior camera views".

Please chill nobody is going to cry we are just debating, they could easily said no interior dash or cockpit but did not choose to so we are just having debates about the topic. totally agree and if there is no cockpit view they say "no cockpit view supported" but what they say there is "no interior view support"not as it was written but it shows my point,maybe we are getting blackout cockpits or maybe dashboard cockpits with 40º of observation inside the car,so they don't detail the whole cockpit,but as I said is very likely to have these options as a view.

Um, no, a lot of people are going to cry in November.

They also said there won't be cockpit view back when it was translated from KY & everybody blamed it on the translation. Then you all cried b/c you set yourself up for the hype believing translator-guy to be wrong.

Now that they've come out in plain English that cockpit view won't be in standard cars, you guys twist the words around so you think it means any view besides the racing one or that cockpit & interior are 2 completely different terms. All you're doing now is doing what you did months ago, going, "I'm NOT LISTENING!", so when the winter rolls around, you people can come back with a bunch of thread topics going, "OMG WTF, no cockpit views!"

Simple fact is, there won't be an interior view on standard cars, not unless they do some crummy outline of them.

Then work on your sentence structure b/c it looks like you're asking for it to be confirmed.

I'm afraid it just means what it says quite literally, and that's not something I was hoping for or even expected a few weeks ago.

Well we don't have much choice do we than to accept it for what it is?
Sure it will probably offer me plenty of fun ( only driving the Premium Maserati GranTurismo and Alfa 8C on all available tracks are probably worth the full price for me ) but I was just expecting more from PD ( especially after all this time ).

I'm already a PS3 owner and buying GT5 with the monopoly position ( unfortunately as a true competitor on the same console can only be a good thing ) it has aquired was always going to be no brainer as I love driving games and have played every GT before.
It probably will be the best driving game on a console for some years purely because it's the only one of its kind ( unless you own an XBOX ).
They can get away with almost anything because they know we don't have much choice.

What if I decide not to buy it, what other game on a PS3 comes close to offering this experience?
It's a bit like booking a holiday ( Prologue being the brochure ) and discovering before going the pictures this brochure displayed don't live up to the real situation.

Yea i feel you bro I own a Xbox and Forza3 I was so excited when it came out all the hype got me so pumped I bought a wheel and everything. I knew it would keep me busy til GT5 turns out i dont even play the game anymore. Don't get me wrong its a good game but its to arcade for my taste. IMO GT series is just a different type of racing game. I will be pretty upset if the standard cars dont have cockpit but i will still enjoy the game. In the end i am very pleased on what i saw so far about GT5. Till this day my bro and I play GT4 everyday. Just with GT5 standard cars with their new feature and GT5 new features it wil keep me good for a long time. The preiums cars are just . I cant wait to play GT5 hopefully i see you online ill be in the Honda S2000 👍

First of all you can choose to not buy it. Considering that the game isn't even out, it's probably wise to hold judgement. But of course, on a site like this I shouldn't expect such a thing.

I am sorry, say what you want about time constraints and how great the overall game will be, GT5 is just half a** in my eyes... this really shoulda been GT5.5 and what we will inevitably see as GT6 will almost certainly be mostly be this foundation fully fleshed out...

I think KY and PD and making some bad long term missteps here in planning and implimentation.

Well, From the Official GT Site you can read Standards wont have Interior Cameras, But hey, Some people find more thrustworthy some Australian Site or Kotaku...

I bet GT6 will have cockpits for standard cars. Not premium quality, but at least more than generic. Well, that's my opinion, at least.

Will be interesting to see how many of the 800+ standard cars in GT5 will make the GT6 cut.

the whole plural argument seems weird to me. Plural would mean, there's no dashboard view and no replay view inside the car, nothing of the interior. No camera view from inside period. By not specifying the dashboard view they're basically covering every possible interior view! I'll be VERY GLAD to be wrong here but I can't see it any other way.

He didn't say drivers position view, or dashboard view. Interior is what was said. In my opinion I think interior is the same interior he has been talking about. Which is wheel wells, engine compartment, back seats etc. Those are the 'interiors' that Kaz spoke of. He was quiet about drivers position. Like I said, take of that what you will. In my view, I don't believe a translation to english on the GT site means we won't get a certain camera view during the racing from inside the car. I think it means they aren't detailed in the interior views. Views as a word has a range of definitions. Further confirmation is needed for me. I want to know as a fact with video proof that you can't drive in 'dashboard view' with Standard cars. When that comes out, I'll change my mind. But really, it doesn't matter to me, because I use bumper or hood cam. I don't need to see the steering wheel. I have my own.

It doesn't matter if the word "view" is in plural or singular form.

is one of the many interior views in the game.

You tell us to learn English? How about learning it yourself first& try not to play that, "It was translated poorly" game. That argument held ground 4-5 months ago.
