Go Norway!!!!!! Go Norway!!!!!!! Czhecs, sheiks, shooks, wtf, poodle hair and non-understndable language. Can't win!

But, to be honest, i'm just arrived home from a nice norwegian "julebord" or "lutefiskmiddag", wich translates to "drink and eat cod that's been lying in lye for some time, then cooked, served with potatoes, bacon, mashed peas, etc..... + beer and aquavit (80 proof)".

'nuff said, I'll race some extreme event in my '49 Beetle now. See Ya all folks.

Cars have physical limits...

Uh oh! You've not been exceeding those physical limits have you?

@mprata thanks for that update. You're now in my list, and hispeed should be getting a copy after the weekend. Welcome to Club 200!

Up early to listen to the England vs. Argentina coverage on the BBC website this morning. Gotta do something while listening to the commentary, so I finished off the NA sports races with this.

Professional hall: NA Sports race 3 - Twin Ring Motegi
Car: Honda NSX Type S Zero '97 (Used, no oil) / MR / 257HP / 1270kg / 4.9kg/HP / 160 A-spec points

only when I attempt the Impossible  :banghead:  :banghead: 🤬

I think I'll have a nice suprise later this evening though--maybe a 200 point race nobody in here has? we'll see

has anyone (other than Toronado) tried running the 87 Lotus Esprit in Laguna Seca 200 or New York 200 yet?
I'm a bit preturbed by this....they are really really beating me badly even in cars that are faster...S2000, 96 RX-7, 02 RX-7, Clio Sport, I couldnt even keep up on New York in an M3...I was winning by about 5 seconds but was going to have to pit once more than AI and the ZO6 had finally gotten in front and it was running even faster...I would have gotten 2nd... just curious

Haven't attempted anything in that particular Lotus yet. Sorry.

Went back to the World Compact Car Race to tidy up today. Got 2 less points per race than in the VW Lupo I used last time, but was easily able to qualify and finish 1st in each race this time.

Professional hall: World Compact Car Race - All Races
Car: Mazda MX-5 Miata J-Limited (NA,J) '91 (Used, no oil) / FR / 107HP / 940kg / 8.8kg/HP / 139 A-spec points

I just tried Laguna Seca 200! I spent about 45 min. trying to produce the line-up that Toronado ran with. After 45 min I gave up but entered a race with the S7 starting in 4th, Proto Motors Spirra in 2nd, Shebly Series 1 in 5rd, Camaro SS in 1st, and the Calloway C12 in 3rd. After lap 20 the all had lapped me, even after they pitted they all still had a lap up on me! How Toronado was able to avg. 1'32s in a stock Lotus Esprit is beyond me  !! The best lap I got after 25 or so laps was a 1'37.679, it wasn't the perfect lap but there is no-way I left 9 secs. on the track.

Also, my Lotus has 226hp(229 @ garage menu) and weights 1182kg. Maybe you moded it Toronado and forgot that you did, but even after a Stage 1 Weight Reduction the weight comes to 1113kg.!! If you can run a 1'29s in a stock Lotus Esprit then you should join the WRS and show everyone how its done!!

Anyways, I've got some new races to enter. 👍

Ok, I think thats it for now! 👍

Sorry Smallhorses , I've been sitting on some of these entries for awhile now! Thanks for keeping track of all the entries!

Also, I have most (I forgot to write down afew) of the line-ups and results if anyone is interested.

That's very weird. I can understand cars in different regions, i.e. PAL vs. NTSC having different stats, however, bhawk776 has a weight of 1182kg for his Esprit, while Toronado gives 1146kg.
Thing is, bhawk776 is in Kansas, and therefore, one would assume, on NTSC.
But, I'm in California, also NTSC, and have just been to grab my recently acquired and totally undriven Bond Mobile to see what the "craic" is! I too, strangely enough have a weight of 1146kg and a post-oil-change HP of 226 (selling screen) or 229 (garage screen). Not quite sure where Toronado resides.
If I had digital camera capability (which, much to my 86 year old Grandad's disgust, since he's had one for years now, I don't! Need to spend about another $10,000 on the AMEX card to get enough points for a freebie! :sly: ) I'd post some screenshots. Having never touched photomode :yuck: I'm not sure if it's possible to post garage pics. :indiff:

Is it possible to buy the '87 Esprit in PAL version?
It's not available except as a prizecar in NTSC, though the purchasing stats reveal it to have 214HP and 1146kg.
More ? Yeah, so am I! :)

Interestingly though, as I recall, the '80's Esprit was the only car in production at the time, to have a totally flat windscreen. (windshield!) Not that this helps in any way!

I haven't done Tuning Car GP in Professional mode yet, and from some previews it seems the field are running 400 - 500HP on R3 tyres, I'm curious to see if a 229HP car on S2s will keep up.....more later.....

Alright then, that's me brain-fryed for another night....off to bed. zzzzzzzzzzzz

Smallhorses,,,I don't wanna rain on your parade, but you'll never win the Tuning Car GP in a stock Lotus...it's nearly impossible in an amuse S2000 R1...let alone on street tires...by the by, my Lotus has 1146kg--226hp....but I still don't see shaving 7 seconds off Laguna Seca....

anywho I got some races for you not quite 200 but they would be without the oil change..(it was giving me crap so I changed the oil) helped a lot though

European Hall: Euro Hot Hatch League race 2 - Opera Paris
Car: BMW 120i / S1/S1 / 150HP(no oil) / 1335kg / 200 A-Spec Points

European Hall: Euro Hot Hatch League race 3 - Trial Mountain
Car: BMW 120i / S1/S1 / 150HP(no oil) / 1335kg / 200 A-Spec Points

European Hall: Euro Hot Hatch League race 4 - Suzuka
Car: BMW 120i / S1/S1 / 150HP(no oil) / 1335kg / 200 A-Spec Points

all races were done in a championship--qualifying 1st...I'll probly need something faster for race 5...
All races against BMW M Coupe - Volkswagon R32 - Ford Focus ST - Mini Cooper S - Alfa GTA
more to come  have some beer guys

EDIT: EDIT: went back through now...without oil change..won all 3 of these and the first race...sitting on race 5

I have to apologize for my mistake! I don't know when I did it but I seem to have added 36kg of ballast at some point  which after removing it makes my Lotus weight 1146kg. Sorry for the confusion! :guilty:

However, I did revisit Lagana Saga and was still unable to produce anything close to avg. 1'32s. My best lap after another 20 laps was a 1'36.877 on lap 14 when the Ford GT lapped me and I was able to draft him down the straight. I had another good lap(1'37.169) on lap 17 when the S7 lappped me and I was able to draft him as well.

The only reason I tested this car after LeadSlead mentioned it was because I have tested this car before at an event that Toronado has submitted and didn't have any luck, but I just wrote it off thinking that we had different line-ups. :dopey:

I've been proven wrong once about this car, prove me wrong again. :mischievous:

EDIT: I've tried New York and didn't have any luck there either!

Snap son, snap. After hearing all of the troubles everyone was having with the Tuning Car cup and Laguna Seca 200 MI., I decided to look at the replays (I save the replays of all my best races) to see what was up. My conclusion: I did Laguna Seca on R3/R2's! Bloody hell! Well, kill that race from the charts. Tuning Car cup? I did that on R3/R3's! I didn't even know it. Kill those races too. All in all, 2 full days wasted. The Bond car has shamed me so. I don't know why I didn't notice. Probably because those races were so difficult anyways and the fact that I didn't look at the tuning screen when I went to the races (I couldn't think of anything to tune). I did notice that New York was fine as much as I can see though. I just drafted the A.I. the whole distance (not to mention I had much better times through the 90 degree turns at the top). It was still on S2/S1's. Sorry for the wasted time on everyone elses part.

are you sure there arent gears or something on New York? I havent tried that one as much, but I couldnt hardly draft them in an M3, when I raced with that...I can't see drafting them well with the Lotus...

As far as I can teel from the replay, I can't see anything wrong with the race. I don't think I messed with the gears, and I can't hear the transmission whine, but I'm not 100% sure of whether nothing is different about the car.

I was able to draft the 5th place car for alittle bit on the straights for about the first 6-7 laps from my race but he pulled away from me everytime. I was lapped around lap 20 and the 5th place car had pulled out a 3/4 of a lap lead by lap 22. This was with my extra 36kg  but from what I improved without the extra weight at Lagana Saga, which is about .500, I still don't think I could place better than 6th place.

I tried 4 different line-ups with the same results. Last place!

EDIT: Since you have your replay saved, what was you fastest lap and avg. lap at New York?

Thanks Toronado, for having the guts to come out and admit the mistakes, 👍 which is a lot more than can be said for some people, 2 even spring to mind recently, who've been "challenged" over spurious posting and never returned. 👎

I'll take out Laguna Enduro, and Tuning car cup entries :(, but leave New York in for now.
Keep up the good racing though, and remember, any race worth high points in a totally stock car is worth posting here! :)

@ bhawk776 & LeadSlead#2 Thanks for the new submissions, I'll see they're added for the next update.

European Hall: Euro Hot Hatch League race 1 - Metegi Short Course
Car: BMW 120i / S2/S2 / 150HP(no oil) / 1335kg / 193 A-Spec Points

I also Changed the last entrys...all are 200--I bought a new 120i & didnt change the oil this time! apologys to hispeed and or smallhorses for any inconvenience this may give...
also note Race 5--Special Stage 5 - I lost a 193 point race by less than half a second!---are we allowed to intentionally block the AI? I could win then!

everybody have more beer!

I honestly don't know what I did to the Esprit for the New York race, but there is no way it is stock. I looked at the replay. In it, I draft the Esprit 350 all the way down the straights and average 1:53 and 1/2 with a best over 10 laps of 1:51.179. I just cross checked that with my new Esprit (got it yesterday) and I can only draft a V8 Vantage, running an average of around 1:55 in a newer car with a best over 10 laps of 1:54.967. So, kill another one from the list. I going to check El Capitan 200 mi. now.
Edit: I know what I did to the Lotus now. Full Customizable suspension, triple-plate clutch, raciong flywheel, full costom lsd, etc. I'm redoing El Capitan right now. Get back to you on it when done.

Yes, you can block from what I have read in different posts in this thread.

And thanks, I think I will after the Chiefs game is over. Which it looks like it is now! :grumpy:

Does This put me in the list?

Opera Performance S2000 '04 - dead stock, no oil change, downforce@0/0,stock suspension settings, stock gearbox, S1/S1 tires

3rd : TVR Cerbera Speed Six '97
4th Dodge Viper GTS '99
5th Calaway C12 '03
6th Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1(C4) '90

Yes, that'll put you on the list.
But before we do, can I ask that you edit your post above to list the stats for the car in this format? As requested in Post #1:-

Car / Drivetrain / Power (HP) / Weight (kg) / WPR (kg/HP) / A-spec points.

All on one line helps to make it easier to maintain the list.
I'll be sending hispeed the next update later today, so if you do this now it'll make the list by tomorrow hopefully.

I will do the Laguna Seca 200 milles Friday. In the other day I tried to do it in the BMW M3 CSL (200 a-spec points if I could win) and it's very hard to keep the Saleen behind you.

Friday I will try with:

a Renault Clio (touring car);
a Mazda 6 (touring car);
a Subaru Cusco Advan (also a touring car);

They should give 200 a-spec points and I can costumize the settings so it should be a lot easier.
By the way: is the BMW 320i (touring car) powerfull enough for this race  ?

MPRATA, you should be able to win in the BMW, I've never tried, but I'm sure you can win with it.

well, if I can block, I can win that darned race!
anyways, I got these & should get the other two today...they keep giving me different fields... & I can't beat the NSX on the FUJI & the MOTEGI races, I found a lineup with neither in it once, but used S2's & only got 190 points--so If I can find it again with S1's I should get 200 points

Japanese Hall: Japan Championship Race 2 - Tsukuba
Car: 96 Mazda RX-7 / 262HP / 1250kg / S2/S2 / 200 A-Spec Points

Japanese Hall: Japan Championship Race 3 - Tokyo
Car: 96 Mazda RX-7 / 262HP / 1250kg / S2/S2 / 200 A-Spec Points

Japanese Hall: Japan Championship Race 5 - Suzuka
Car: 96 Mazda RX-7 / 262HP / 1250kg / S2/S2 / 200 A-Spec Points

Race 5 was awesome--I started last, cause I plan to race again to get the other two races, but when the Subaru in the lead wiped out right in front of me & I dramatically swerved & avoided him, there was a massive pileup behind me! which worked really well for me, because by the end of the race, the NSX & RX-7 were right on my @$$ again, but I won anyway--& gave them the finger as they flew past me .086 sec. after the line! ha! more beer--

Sorry dude :P...here it is

Car / Drivetrain / Power (HP) / Weight (kg) / WPR (kg/HP) / A-spec points

Opera Performance S2000 '04 / FR / Power(garage lists it as 274-dosent show in valuation screen) / weight(930kg) / 4.55kg/hp / 200a spec -points

Japanese Hall: Japan Championship Race 1 - Fuji
Car: 96 Mazda RX-7 / 262HP / 1250kg / S2/S2 / 199 A-Spec Points

Japanese Hall: Japan Championship Race 4 - Motegi
Car: 96 Mazda RX-7 / 262HP / 1250kg / S2/S2 / 199 A-Spec Points

well I got the field with all 4wd cars...& got those 2 races--Da#ned!! 199? that sucks...o well, really good races though...

Smallhorses---I'll check tommorrow---can't get on the game right now, & can't get online later---but I'll let you know whcih tomm night..
I'll just edit this post & place here:::96 Mazda RX-7 Type RZ -- like JD- something -- I hate the way Japan throws so many friggin numbers in their cars names, o well, good races

CBR250RR
Opera Performance S2000 '04 / FR / Power(garage lists it as 274-dosent show in valuation screen) / weight(930kg) / 4.55kg/hp / 200a spec -points

Thanks for that, you're on the list! Welcome to the Club.

One thing though, where'd the WPR of 4.55 come from?
930 / 274 = 3.39kg/HP. I've put that value in the list.
Or if you convert the value on the garage screen, which always displays the PS value, regardless of the units it displays afterwards, to HP (multiply by 0.986) it gives 270HP (which is also what Famine lists in his signature)

I know this race is possible though since it was detailled in Famine's Endurance Companion. :)

Text file e-mailed tonight. Post #1 will be updated when hispeed pastes it in.

*edit* Post #1 up to date. Welcome to Club 200 for mprata & CBR250RR.
gregc's race is included in the main list too, & hopefully he'll get a Club 200 entry soon too!

Professional Hall: Boxer Spirit Race 1 - Hong Kong
Car: RUF 3400S / MR / 306HP / 1300kg / 4.25pwr/wt / 167 A-Spec Points

Professional Hall: Boxer Spirit Race 2 - Infineon
Car: RUF 3400S / MR / 306HP / 1300kg / 4.25pwr/wt / 162 A-Spec Points

Professional Hall: Boxer Spirit Race 3 - Deep Forest
Car: RUF 3400S / MR / 306HP / 1300kg / 4.25pwr/wt / 162 A-Spec Points

as I tried this, I realized I could win with S1's...but I'm not sure since the 3400S comes with S3's...are we allowed to use S1's -- I used S2's since cars with S2's can use S1's, but didnt want to use S1's if that won't count

I'm also gonna give it a go with a Subaru now...we'll see

Cheers mate 👍

Now I've got my black LM cars I can relax and go back for that 200. I'm not exactly the best driver in the world, so I may be a while :)

edit (again, I obviously got it wrong last time!) to add - thanks to hispeed for the welcome

Read the rules! Any car can ride with S2 or S1 (or if you got one of them rare cars that come with S3 that I didn't even think about when I made the rules, you can use those).
Feel free to use S1.

No tuning, NOS, wings, N-tires or ballast though.
However, you can at your will cahnge oil and wash your car
