Weight and power readings taken from the Valuation (Sell car) screen.
Hope I've made it to your lists HiSpeed.

I would have loved to add the Black Nissan R390 GT1 for Motegi Oval for 200 but alas there was a bit of wallriding involved in the smaller bend as the tyres started to wear.

AMG.

Thanks AMG. and welcome to the ranks of CLUB 200! đź‘Ť
I'll add your submissions to my text list ready for the next update which I'll be e-mailing to hispeed shortly, and he'll update the list in post#1.

Thanks for investigating the La Festa Italiano races George Morley, I'm wondering if he'd confused the Fiat Coupe with the Fiat Barchetta, I believe the Coupe is capable of the wins against the right AI lineup, but I can't find one worth more than 164 points. I know route_66 has proved himself to be an exceptional driver, and I'm not disputing his skills, but I can't see anyone being able to pull this off and my desire is to keep the list as accurate as possible as a reference guide, and there's something misleading about this submission. :(

*edit* Well, I've just put the Fiat Coupe through its paces several times, and found a lineup that is cleanly beatable at Autumn Ring.
It does rely heavily on the fact that the AI cannot cope with FF understeer which you'll notice since you start the race at a disadvantage as the autodrive takes you off into the sandtrap before the race actually starts! :ouch:

European Hall : La Festa Italiano race 1 - Autumn Ring
Car: Fiat Coupe Turbo Plus '00 / FF / 213HP / 1310kg / 6.2kg/HP / 151 A-spec points

vs. 5th or 6th lineup after reset which has no Lancia Delta present. The Delta is unbeatable in this car, on this circuit.

European Hall : La Festa Italiano race 1 - Autumn Ring
Car: Lancia Stratos / MR / HP / 1080KGkg / S1's / 144 A-Spec

European Hall : La Festa Italiano race 2 - Cote D Azur
Car: Lancia Stratos / MR / HP / 1080KGkg / S1's / 156 A-Spec

European Hall : La Festa Italiano race 3 - Infineon
Car: Alfa Romeo / FF / HP / 1415KG / 176 A-Spec

I'll be back tomorrow or saturday with the full name of the Alfa, and HP (valuation screen) numbers for all races... possibly better point races on the first 2 as well...

(Many of you may be wondering why I posted without my info, and planning on trying for more points in different cars. Well, I wanted to bring this back to top due to 30 locked threads cluttering the runway)
Will edit later

European Hall: La Festa Italiano race 2 - Cote D'azur
Car: Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 24V '01 (oil changed) / FF / 227HP / 1415kg / 6.2kg/HP / 154 A-spec points!

vs. 4th lineup after reset with Alfa 166 on pole.

Car: Lancia Stratos / MR / HP / 1080KGkg / S1's / 144 A-Spec

Car: Alfa Romeo / FF / HP / 1415KG / 176 A-Spec

Any more info on these 2 cars LeadSlead#2?

Renault Clio Sport 16V Phase II/ MR / 262HP / 1134kg / 4.325kg. HP / Used With New Oil/ 135 A-Spec by George Morley

George Morley I think this is a typo, since the Phase II Clio can't be purchased used. Please check the model year of your Renault and let me know before I can add this race to the list.

I've been up since 4:45am to listen to Liverpool playing West Ham United, so I thought I'd catch up on the race list while I'm listening. Everything is updated and ready for e-mailing to hispeed.

Keep the submissions coming. đź‘Ť

Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 24V '01
That's the Alfa I used, but, my PS2 broke! so I'm down, and maybe out, at least for a month or two.
the motor that moves the laser makes noise, but doesnt slide it back and forth, as it needs to, to read the disk.

Soooo, If you are willing, you could see what the stock power ratings are for those two cars, and fill in my blanks...
I think the Stratos is 166HP (no oil) S1's
and the Alfa is 214 at the purchase screen, I just never got the chance to check the valuation screen (no oil) S2's

It seems from other submissions, that the stock Stratos has 189HP or 195HP after oil change. I've put your entries in the list at 189HP and WPR of 5.2kg/HP, since you mentioned no oil was used. đź‘Ť

Hey Smallhorses,

Nothing new or revolutionary, but I used the Chaparral 2J race car for 200 Aspec points on each race of the Real Circuit Tours in Extreme Hall (except the Nurb, haven't managed that yet).

As my numbers are exactly the same as jdw's for those entries. If you feel inclined to add my name beside his, cool, but if you don't feel so inclined that's cool too.

If you feel inclined to add my name beside his, cool, but if you don't feel so inclined that's cool too.

It'd be a pleasure. :D
Great job! đź‘Ť
Although they'll not appear until the update after next, probably sometime in October, as my September is wiped out with moving house & a road-trip vacation, and I just sent the latest updated file to hispeed earlier this morning.
Keep an eye out for it though. ;)

No worries LeadSlead#2! I just checked the HP properly for the Stratos, on the selling screen a brand new car with no new oil gives 185HP.
189HP is probably the garage screen value and I suspect 195HP is the garage value after an oil change.
I've changed your entries to reflect the true value of 185HP đź‘Ť

Also confirmed by PM with George Morley that his Renault Clio race at Trial Mountain in Professional NA Cup was done in a used Renault Clio Sport V6 24V '01 which had an oil change. đź‘Ť
This too has been added to the list ready for the next update in about a months time! :guilty:

These first four were so easy I'm amazed they weren't already listed:

Beginners hall: 4WD Challenge race 1 - Grand Valley
Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi '04 (oil) / 4WD / 358 hp / 2390kg / 200 points
Beginners hall: 4WD Challenge race 2 - Autumn Ring Mini Reverse
Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi '04 (oil) / 4WD / 358 hp / 2390kg / 200 points
Beginners hall: 4WD Challenge race 3 - Suzuka
Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi '04 (oil) / 4WD / 358 hp / 2390kg / 200 points
Beginners hall: 4WD Challenge race 4 - El Capitan
Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi '04 (oil) / 4WD / 358 hp / 2390kg / 200 points

I only tried one lineup at the fifth race, Fuji 90's, and the Dodge just didn't have enough top end. It might be doable against another lineup.

For a more legitemate entry, but already listed:
Professional hall: Supercar Festival Race 5 - Infineon
BMW M5 '05 / FR / 499HP / 1715kg / 200 points

Thanks BobK, you've become the latest CLUB 200 member with those submissions. :)

The BMW race certainly gets you membership, the Dodge Ram is a well known 200pt-getting "Bug" in the game, which has been used countless times for 200pt races even in Sunday Cup, so it's not a surprise that it will do the 4WD races too. For this reason people here have shyed away from it and gone for less obvious and more challenging entries. đź‘Ť I'll list everything you've entered in the next list update which'll happen in the next few weeks or so.
Look out for your entries and name in the list in post #1 after I post an alert here that a list update is imminent. Watch this space.....

For a more legitemate entry, but already listed:

Dang man now that's just robbery! You know I brought that up with you in the 200pt. race thread just a few days ago. :ouch:
All good though. :)

See that though Smallhorses, I've finally started running some races that would fit in with your 200pt thing (forget the exact name). :dopey:

How about this, either tonight or tomorrow I will run a 200pt for you in the M5 completely stock with all the info as needed. đź‘Ť
Maybe I'll get creative and find something else as well. :mischievous:
Till then,
-

Excellent! Look forward to getting another mod on the CLUB 200 list Kent!

Although, as I've said before, it's not my list, it belongs to hispeed. I just do my best to keep it up to date since I have more free time on my hands than he does!

Believe me, if the M5 hadn't been already listed I would have PM'ed you about it, to give you the opportunity to post it first. I save my low-down dirty sneaky stuff for the AI ;) .

this is an awesome list!

here are some entries i have found:

Stars and Stripes (Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 '70) Laguna Seca 144 pts, Seattle 141 pts, and Infineon 144 pts

Sarthe Circuit 24 Hours II (AMG Mercedes CLK-GTR Race Car '98) 141 pts.

i don't have all that other info, i did no tuning or modifying and used the tires that came on the cars.

Thanks olofrogmorton, the list is awesome, :D it's taken a long time to compile and all with entries by folks like yourself. However, we do have some rules in post #1, which request that
olofrogmorton
all that other info
is included with your submissions. Please take the time when you're next in front of GT4, and write it down for us, and edit your post above. That way your entries will make the list. It's a lot of work if I have to go and find all the info for everyone else. Look forward to seeing you entries amended and added to the list soon! đź‘Ť

Anyway, I've been a little lax recently, what with moving house and then taking 2 weeks vacation, I've not been around as much as I usually am! However, I notice a big gap in Extreme Hall submissions, and for the last few months (seriously ) I've been plugging away at the Formula GT World Championship. By running every race with downforce set to minimum, I was able to grab 127 A-spec points per race! This is the most it's possible to achieve without adding ballast to the car! Tough work in some races, because reduced downforce = worse tyre-wear! Invariably pitted sooner & more often than the AI runners, but came out triumphant in the end! :embarrassed:

Extreme hall: Formula GT - All Races
Car: Formula Gran Turismo '04 (Minimum downforce) / MR / ?HP (904HP on garage screen) / 550kg / ?kg/HP ( 0.6kg/HP using garage value) / 127 A-spec points! :)

*edit* OK, I'm having a good night after finishing that Formula GT ordeal, so I've added olofrogmorton's entries to the list seeing as there were already entries with those vehicles complete with stats. I'm doing it just this once though, as I've done for LeadSlead#2 and speedy_samurai recently. I must reiterate though that it makes our lives easier if you can include all the data that's asked for in post #1, with you submissions. ;)

Official Submission:
Professional hall: NA Sports race 5 - Trial Mountain / Honda S2000 '04 / FR / 247 / 1301kg* / 200 A-spec points / Kent

I used an * with the weight because the stock S2K runs 1250 but I was using a 51kg ballast... Also no oil change and S2 tires.

Was much fun and didn't seem to be easy as a win on any of the other NA tracks (although I'm sure it is possible).
Didn't get to tune the ballast either, just used 51 to go over 1300kg. Ballast may be able to go lower and still achieve 200pts but I don't know.

At any rate, I've finally submitted a new 200pt race for you smallhorses.
Later.

thanks! i was perfectly willing to go look it up myself, and was about to, when i read your edit. i appreciate it, and if/when i add some more to the list, i will include all the info.:)

**now that i look i don't see the entries on the list:(**

That's because I can't personally access post #1 to make the updates.
I have updated my text file, which I e-mail to hispeed periodically.
I just forgot to e-mail him last night! :dunce:
I'll send it off tonight, but he's out playing in the sand according to his new avatar location, so it may take a few more days to update after that. He usually posts in here to let us know when it's done. Be patient, your name will be in lights soon! Hope to have a 200 point race from you soon, so you can join the more exclusive list below the race list in post #1!

Sorry Kent! You'll have to try this at stock 1250kg weight, I think it still gives 200 points against the right lineup, since I used an S2000 for the Infineon NA race. From post #1.....

Rules: No tuning (stock car -> i.e. you cant buy any new parts, but you can change all settings possible except ballast). Oil change allowed.....

You can't use any ballast at all for a stock submission. Sorry for the confusion, :guilty: but hopefully if you can repeat this with 0kg Ballast, you're a "dead cert" for getting on the CLUB 200 list! :)

Actually no Smallhorses, I'm not.
This was the last straw for me.

I should have just posted my Infineon M5 Supercar race here instead of in the 200pt thread.
In any case, I'm just sick of working on this challenge and getting rejected over and over.

Effort is something I only give for so long after a certain point I have to ask myself, (relative to gt4) is this fun anymore?
The answer for this challenge from me- No. :(

I tried though, you can't deny that, I certainly tried.
btw, I tried it at 1250 and it still didn't give me 200pt. Maybe a different line-up but I'm not in the habit of constantly resetting my game so I can avoid ruining my % just to get new line-ups (and for that matter, I'm not in the habit of repeatedly re-racing a race I've already got 200 on).

Should I end up back on the 200pt stock challenge I will let you know.

Edit:
One reason I'm so mad about this is because I've spent the last 3 days of gameplay (what little time I get for gt4) on getting this specific race and combo clean... Now I see it was all in vain. :ouch:

Well, thanks Kent for trying, and remember, you can add any stock race to the list, it doesn't necessarily have to be a 200 point race.

I'm sure as a long-time WRS administrator you had your fair amount of frustration by people not adhering to clearly stated rules, and while it's obvious from your frustrated reaction that you clearly weren't attempting to deliberately flout them in any way, they have been posted there in post #1 from day 1 of this thread. I don't feel it's right to make exceptions for the people in authority here, any more than a regular member. :guilty:

I'll happily add your M5 at Infineon race, which BobK nabbed, if you wish. You'll see there's many entries here which have been duplicated by a few folks and there's no harm in that.
I presume you wanted the special distinction of grabbing a race and car combination that was unique to you. :(

Sorry again for your frustration, and I hope you come across something good soon after your anger subsides. Please PM me if you'd like to discuss this more. I may be able to make some useful suggestions for you.

Oh no big deal buddy.
Anger's gone and same with my dilemma. đź‘Ť
Don't post the M5 for me, I want nothing to do with that now. :sly:
On the contrary though, you are very right about wanting a distinction in my race vs the others posted- no duplication for me.

That said...

Official Submission:
Professional hall: NA Sports race 5 - Trial Mountain / VW Golf IV R32 '03 / 4WD / 241hp / 1460kg / 200 A-spec points / Kent

6.051PWR on that as well.
And so now it is done!

Excellent! Welome, officially (well as official as I can get round here, the real official welcome has to come from hispeed!) to CLUB 200 Kent! It's great to have you on board.
I'll update my list again now, as I forgot to e-mail it again last night! I was up until midnight waxing my Miata. (That's not a eupheism either!)

I was up until midnight waxing my Miata. (That's not a eupheism either!)

:ouch: That's rough dude. I know what it's like too... I can never find time to wax my car and it's a 2006 that needs to be waxed (can't let it fall into disrepair this early!).

In any case, thanks for the welcome. I'm glad I was able to come up with a car/ track combo that no one had used to achieve 200pts.

Last time I checked, there were mo motorcycles in GT4:D

Errm. It means you can have 2 of your 4 wheels in a sandtrap, or on the grass or rumblies, and the other 2 on the racetrack tarmac, and still be considered clean. It's pretty much a standard request for any online racing event.

That said, the rules here aren't as strict as WRS events, since a wall contact or off track excursion that costs you time (Rather than gaining time like a deliberate shortcut would) or AI contact that you don't benefit from, is not immediate grounds for disqualification. It is encouraged to race as neatly and cleanly as possible though. Deliberate wallriding and ramming AI is certainly not acceptable though.
