We just wait until it's actually out this time, instead of assuming it'll release during a maintenance period or when the stars align in a particular pattern, or when the sun is facing some way that's not this way or something like that.
 
Gotta say, subaru advertised it.
Chevrolet's gonna do an event.
There's obviously a marketing victory in adversting the vgt from the chevy side
 
Looks good.

Looks quite quick, but quite planted... somewhere between the Mitsubishi VGT and the Toyota FT-1 VGT.

How to receive it
The Update 1.14 will be released shortly. After it has been installed, the car can be purchased from the [Vision GT] area within the [CARS] section in "My Home" (here, you can also find the car's presentation movie). Alternatively, it is also possible to obtain the car by completing a lap (regardless of the lap time) in the new Seasonal Event, available only for a limited time.

About the SUBARU VIZIV GT Vision Gran Turismo
Vision Gran Turismo is a revolutionary project established for car enthusiasts all over the world. The car provided by Subaru for this dream project, where the world's car manufacturers and brands develop concept cars in the game world, is an ultimate sportscar carrying Subaru's concept car motto "VIZIV"; Vision for Innovation. The car is called the "SUBARU VIZIV GT Vision Gran Turismo".

Inheriting the design language of Subaru's "SUBARU VIZIV 2 Concept" revealed at the March 2014 Geneva show, the Subaru design team have added dynamic and solid shapes to the model. Its shoulder line extends from the front hexagonal grill all the way to the rear. Its tough-looking body seems as though it was carved from hard, solid metal. And with blister fenders extending its shape three dimensionally outward, it visually expresses Subaru's pursuit of a safe and enjoyable driving experience. Its large diffuser, the roof integrated rear spoiler, and its shooting brake silhouette, which accounts for aerodynamic performance, will surely stand out among others in the game.

Thorough weight reduction was a focus in the design of the body structure, and carbon materials have been utilised everywhere. As a result, the vehicle weight was held down to 1,380 kg despite being equipped with heavy batteries and motors. And propelling the lightweight body is Subaru's legendary 2 litre horizontally opposed engine that has been fully tuned with years of motorsports experience. The direct injection turbocharged engine that has been powered up with revised restrictor diameters is combined with one high-power motor in the front and two in the rear, which achieves a total system power output of 591 BHP and 800 Nm (82 kgm) of maximum torque. By independently controlling each of the motor outputs, turning ability while cornering is drastically improved, while the torque vectoring lamps built into the fenders visualise its movement. Thus, as with any other Subaru, the car is made controllable for anyone driving it, regardless of its extremely high performance levels.

I know.. it just says 'shortly' in the text.. I'd take 'shortly' to mean more quickly than 'soon'... and I'm still going to turn my PS3 on in hope when I get home.....

Next Week is Thanksgiving for us Americans (Next Thursday). So either it would be this Thursday or next week Tuesday, and since they did say time trials for new cars (both this and BMW) hints that it would be this thursday to coincide with the time trial Seasonals.

In my opinion it looks em... OK. It doesn't look bad but it's not that eye cathcing for me. The rear reminds me of the Toyobarus GT-86/BRZ. But I liked those lights on the wheel archers that show how their AWD system is working in real time. It's a cool idea.

It's interesting how it compares to Mitsubishi's VGT. Subaru has more power (591hp vs 502hp on the Mitsubishi) but Mitsubishi has more torque (1010Nm vs 800Nm on the Subaru) and they have similar weight (Mitsubishi at 1350kg and Subaru at 1380kg). It will be an interesting competition.

My money is on the Subaru being a little quicker, the power to weight ratio is in it's favour. It's pretty similar to the Mercedes, although the Merc's standard SH/SH tyre set-up and RWD mean the Subaru would win a stock fight between the two.
