I spent 5,500cr on a stage 2 weight reduction before hitting the track.

On the first run I encountered the sudden braking Zonda at Mulsanne kink and found myself bouncing off the barriers and into the sand in my efforts to avoid him. DNF.
So I tried a different lineup without the Zonda on pole and ended up rubbing against an Audi Le Mans Quattro repeatedly before being punted into the sand at Indianapolis by a VW Nardo Concept. Not happy.
The final race was much better, but still not perfect. There was still some slight nudging and a couple of corners where I went a bit deep on the curbs, but the scratches will buff out and I've used more curb at Seoul Central!

Tomorrow I will send the time, today I had not a lot of time.. Would some helpful mind loan me the 4,000Cr I need. Please. :dopey:

I believe as my finances currently stand at 7,632Cr that I can spare fabmaru 4000Cr.
As there's only 1 race left, and the virtual leftover credits will become useless after that, consider it a gift.

Smallhorses thank you very much!

Thanks to that I bought:

Semi-Racing Suspension kit. (7,400Cr)
Large single clutch (1,700Cr)

Horsesome! :D
I guess having run at least 3 x 24hr races, all in A-spec mode, at each of these venues has taught me a little about negotiating the Sarthe Circuits and hopefully will translate pretty well at Nurburgring too.
I'm not planning on any more modifications to my RX-7 for this race, which means my outstanding balance of ~11100Cr is up for grabs.
Since fabmaru, GrumpEone & SVX were last on the list for Sarthe I, and have the least remaining finances I guess it should go to 1 of them.
Start making your cases Gents... I want to know why you want it and what you wish to spend it on?

Racing Super Hard (R1) is one reason, when most everyone else is on Racing Hard (R2) tires. AndersonG22 is even running Racing Medium (R3) tires. One is probably using a Racing Exhaust with a supercharger, in my experience with GT4 you get more HP from a Supercharger using a Semi-Racing Exhaust with one.

Just to clarify, if fabmaru, SVX or GrumpEone want my remaining balance of ~11100Cr for this race, just ask here.
I had asked you to justify what you were spending it on when I made the same offer yesterday, but since the deadline is rapidly approaching I can't be bothered to decide who is most deserving of it.
So now instead whoever posts first gets it.
If no-one wants it I'll deposit my virtual credits in my virtual bank account until virtual currency becomes worth anything! :)

Just got in from work, collar & tie are off, T-shirt and jeans are on, tea is brewing, GT4 is starting up and Nurburgring awaits... :D

If anyone wants to know why I was withdrawn, let me know and I will tell you what I know (which isn't much 'cause BH-21 won't reply to my messages asking him to explain what happened).

Okay. This is my 'speech' to per sway you to gift me the 11,100 CR.

Why I should get the credits.

I think I should get the credits because I've came last in most events, and having one last hurrah would really be nice, as there is a couple of tyres awaiting me. It would be really good to show that you don't have to be able to drive a car in real life to be within the ranks of pro gamers. It would also show that not all 12 year olds crash into people online with their X2010s and Veyrons, beacuse racing is all about 'the challenge' to beat the next person above you.

So, Smallhorses, could I please have the credits.

Thank you for reading,

SVX.

All yours SVX.
(Suggest probably investment in a set of Race Hard tyres! ;))
Not sure what's in Flynn77's pot, but I'm guessing that's now yours too.

Nurburgring was a non-event tonight. :guilty:
With a full pot of tea I ventured downstairs to yon GT4 station, but as Grand-Prix-Classic technically had a more stringent deadline I ran 3 x Suzuka races in my Dome Zero '78. During the 3rd race my Missus arrived home and I ran out to affix the newly arrived licence plates to her Fiat 500 that we acquired in mid-July! (Things generally don't happen quickly in Cali!) I'd also forgotten we were due to attend a plaza opening in our town to support local businesses and restaurants (also sponsored by Pyramid Brewery!) and by the time we arrived home I wasn't really fit to drive, either realistically or GT4irically! Consequently I sat down and watched "Paul" which amused me instead!
I guess I have until Sunday to submit, so tomorrow night it'll be that I run my Nurb' times. I'm off to see Thievery Corporation concert in Oakland on Saturday night, but I'll be up at 5:30am (PST) Sunday morning to watch Liverpool play Tottenham so I could conceivably work it in then. What time & time-zone is our hard-deadline for this?

The best reason to give SVX the money is, he is a real trooper, sticking it out the whole season even though hasn't placed well.

Central US, 7:00 AMish, Sunday Morning.

I don't want to stir the crap, but I'd like to see Korza return for the final race. Maybe he made a mistake. It sounds like he tried to provide all the proof he could. If you don't want to allow him back in, BH, I can respect that, but don't you think it's fair to at least allow Korza to know who his challenger is/was? :/

^ Unfortunately not. BH-21 appears to have already added the donations to your available funds so you would have only 18,516cr.

However, seing as I cannot affford any proper modifications for my car, you can also have most of my funds too - another 5,100cr meaning you actually have 23,616cr to spend.

I'm spending the other 50cr on an oil change.

Amazing. SIMPLY AMAZING. Thank you so much Car-less! I'll hopefully put the mods to great use.

The final race was much easier than anticipated;
The Tommy Kaira ZZII went off into the grass very early in the race gifting me 5th.
The VW Nardo was very slow through Hatzenbach so I was right on his tail, then past him into Hocheichen.
The Mercedes SLR was then passed in the lead up to Flugplatz, and the NSX-R just after.
Finally the Zonda was passed braking for Aremburg.

Two sectors, 90 seconds and I had an empty track ahead of me, however...

...the front tyres were finished by Pflanzgarten on the second lap. Luckily the last quarter lap is not particularly difficult, and I had a 30 second lead on the Zonda with everyone else even further back. I just took it carefully to the finish.

So that was my second attempt. Both the first and third were rather expensive with damage to both my car and the armco. If the sponsors don't pay for the damage then I guess I'll be giving all my winnings to the track owners.
