Thanks for showing I didnt cheat, I appreciate it.
No worries.
With everything going on behind the scenes and spurious entries across several series by another driver, I can understand
BH-21's cautiousness and apprehension in accepting anything else that might've been doubtful.
I was looking for something fun to do, (anything Nurb' related usually is!) and this provided some entertainment for an hour or so!
I liked driving the Camaro on the proper tyres, it felt a lot more stable than my wild RX-7 which, while it was monstrously fast thanks to the Stage 2 Turbo and the custom gearbox, was an absolute live-wire on the bumpy Nurburgring surface due it's light weight and was just ready to bite my head off at the slightest provocation! (You should build that car if you get a chance and give it a go. I'll send you my gearing settings if you're interested.)
The Camaro was understandably understeery to begin with until the RSHs warmed to their task, but they were beautiful through lap 2.
A total contrast to the disastrous 2nd lap on the torched RSSs! Ugh.
It's worth giving the wrong tyres a shot, if you haven't already, for a laugh! I actually ran the proper combo first, hence why I kept suddenly turning in way too soon on the RSSs, as I wasn't prepared for their incredible stopping power and was expecting the initial understeer of the RSHs!
Hope you enjoyed the videos, I shot them mostly from 'copter cam behind the car, but there's a few spots that I figured a look at the front of the car might be entertaining and because I knew I'd done the mini-drift through
Karussell on the wrong tyres I allowed that to be viewed from outside the car, so it's worth fast-forwarding to if you don't want to watch it all!
