LOL, I just did this with no aids whatsoever/0 ABS/clutch & manual trans.

Well damn, no wonder why I'm over a second off the pace, I've been using the wrong damn car. :dunce: :lol: Been using the EA11R instead of the EA21R that everyone else is using. :dunce: :banghead: Hopefully my tune will transfer over as its almost done...damn it. :banghead:  :grumpy: All well, off to tune the more popular car.

P.S. If anyone is curious, my time with the 11R atm is 1'28.157. Like I said, over a second off the pace where as I'm usually only anywhere between .300 - .600 back with a good effort. Don't know how much difference the other car will make, haven't looked at and compared the specs, but we'll see.

EDIT: Ah yes, that's better, down to 1'27.207 just by changing cars after a few laps. I'm cooking with oil now.

Am I the only one who can't see **** because of the glare?

I'm not having any problems. Try turning down the in-game brightness and see if that helps. Willow Springs always seems to have these types of problems. I experienced similar problems in the last TT here...I turned down the brightness and it helped a bit.

No you are not, if you go into replay for this event, you will see a very big difference between hood and cockpit views.
Try it everyone, please comeback and tell us what you find.

The glare issue is because they set the time of day to noon  if you go to arcade mode try it at like 8 am much better on the glare.

The time here for the TT in-event I get is 10:00.
Do you have a different time? If so, I should edit the OP.

Do others have a different time in-event than 10:00?
Please post if you do.

Mine is set at 10:00 also. @Otaliema are you sure yours says noon because I've went through this before on another TT and everyone's time of day was the same. I just think the light rendering for this track is poorly done in general as I, and a lot of other people, have had issues in the past at this track.

My entry in the seasonal, best lap 1:28.606, half second behind CargoRatt:embarrassed::dunce: But not bad for a DS3 user with only ABS 1. Still a little more there I think. This is also the first tune I entered into the Database, it can be found here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/tunes/suzuki-cappacino-ea21r-95-time-trial.269/ Comments and/or criticism always welcomed :) Currently good enough for 297 an hour ago, most likely already dropped.:ouch:

Desription

Lap time as of this posting is 1'25.944 good enough for 18th place atm. This is one of my more extreme setups as far as loose handling goes, therefore it requires very precise throttle and braking control. You really have to modulate the throttle carefully, I really can't stress that enough with this tune. If you can get it right, the results are huge. I have had sectors equal to the leaders with this tune, so it is a fully capable tune if it fits your driving style and are used to loose handling cars. I realize with its loose handling, it may not be for everyone, so if you need help in tightening it up a bit, just ask and I'll be glad to help. Good luck everyone...stay fast and don't stop till you get to the top.

*If you use and find my tunes helpful, please take the time to stop by the above link and rate the tune. I put a lot of time and effort in putting these tunes together and sharing them, all I ask is that you take a second give the tune a rating. The rating button is at the bottom of the page in the link. Thanks guys, appreciate it.

@GTP_CargoRatt @JogoAsobi you are correct it is ten. I miss remembered the time. But I don't get how the tt and arcade have such different lighting. I need to check what the default time is in arcade I thought I was 8 am

So the default time in arcade mode is 5.30 pm and the glare is not as bad. The cones are not glowing like they do at ten. Very odd.

OK, I lied, 1:30.692...drifting lol. Oops.

I don't really drift that much, just enough to get the car to rotate and that's it. And I'm by far from pussy-footing it around here...driving pretty hard. You have to be precise with the brake/throttle, otherwise you will end up sliding around the place. Guess it just must be our differing styles because I wouldn't call what I'm doing is drifting. I practice on Comfort Hards on all my cars so maybe that's why I'm used to being delicate with the brake and throttle. As long as you're having fun, that's all that counts. Great job with the lap time...well done.
