Time Trial #57 ...and now for something different

Why in the training mode the car is só diferent with the same setup as the in the triall? Well, my car is black in trainning mode buy in trial mode is red ? The driving experience is só diferent that i don't know in i drive the same car.

If you knew what you were talking about, you would see how ridiculous your statement is. PD has gave us these cars to use to prevent the use of hybrid cars. There is no way to hybrid/hack cars that are provided by PD. The people on top of the leaderboard are fast for a reason and its not because of hacked cars.

Retort for all of your statements: Don't be so sure.

Again, don't be so sure. 💡

I am leader of the kart space, time trial! I would never dream of using these hacked cars and I have no desire to acquire one as it is cheating. If I was being cheated of a TT win because people ahead were using hacked cars, I would be hacked off (excuse the pun  ).

The reason I'm at the top is because of skill, there is no shortcut or easy route to the top of the leaderboard, you have to be skilled, dedicated and prepared to put the effort in.

I believe that it isn't possible to cheat in this way for these TTs also as PD provide the cars for the event, so next time you point suspicion in peoples' direction check your facts first ;)

May be your professional IT-man and you know way how to hack PD cars ?
Don't believe in that.

PS.
If you follow what you say - that you, too, can not be sure that a couple of minutes, Chuck Norris does not go into your room and smear you face at the keyboard for example =)

I have been checking the facts at a Sony PS3 GT5 forum. http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/Gran-Turismo-Series-General/Hacked-cars-in-GT5/m-p/39700347/highlight/true#M628721

Why would being able to modify the default dealership car be impossible? The car isn't used from some secret PD garage... its used from your game. What about a 3000hp civic... thats impossible too? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7KWIWGh-ec
If someone can modify cars period, why would it be impossible to bypass restricted tuning? Or modify the RA menu. If I know one thing... nothings impossible.

Marketing steering wheels in the game is something else that is awesome... totally. I'm not saying subliminal advertisments flash at you during game play, but when viewing the top10 players "equipment", I come to the realization that 900 degree wheels make the game easier. Assisted steering functions even though it is turned off. Its called: implementation. You keep saying "skill" I say: $200 ~ $1000 setup and I better be faster by 4 or 5 seconds.
So, once again... don't be so sure.
:sly:

Magicians never tell their secrets and definately never admit to them.

I'm sure, I have a Bruce Lee stick for ol Chuck. 👍

Try to do it for start, before you say.
I`m sure you will have bad results even with 10000$ and even much more, until you change you mind.

Looks like I'm not getting Love From Russia.

instead of coming up with excuses, you should learn how to drive. Once you get within a few seconds of the leaders it becomes quite obvious that their times are completely realistic, if you were just a bit more precise.
And yes wheels help. But youre not from a third world country, you have no excuse to not be able to afford a g27.

I'm so mad now! :grumpy: Wow Dhalism, did you come up with that all by yourself? Are you on the marketing team?
It wouldn't surprise me if it is Sony responsible for all the hacking and compromising of its own system.
After all, if you buy the new PS4 system or GT6 we won't be having this problem. 💡

Spaztastic,

The vast majority of the best time trialers are well known across the GT community... they have been consistently producing fast times over years, not just over the past few weeks when Hybrids have been available.

Fast drivers know what's realistically achieveable in a given car on a given track, and someone running a car outside the event specifics would be realtively simple to spot.

And it's hardly that much of a surprise that you'll be faster in a driving game if you use a wheel. But even if you do have a wheel you won't suddenly turn in to a super fast driver... it might get you a second, but there are still a few people who are super fast with a DS3, so it's not a barrier to being competitive.

im not trying to offend you, i'm giving out "useful life advice", even though i suspect youre just a troll. We all have our excuses, and oftentimes they are as unrealistic as yours are. My wheel is faulty. The lag. The star alignment. Even the best of us do that, just most keep those excuses to themselves.

I just noticed that after looking at the rankings on mygranturismo, I'm the only person in the top 250 using the shifter and clutch  On Kart Space of course :)

I`m not care where are you from. It is not important.
We go on that forum as people who love machines and race "as is" without any hack because it is a different challenge.

PS.
I`m a good programmer and i know about what i say.

Really? You are not trying to offend me, but then call me a troll. Also, you insult every 3rd world country. Fantastic life advice coach. You... should keep your thoughts to yourself.

I thought also bandit was using shifter and clutch? I might be mistaken though, you all are beastly skilled in my eyes!👍

I could use the clutch if I wanted to but it is extra effort and I can't really see any gain from doing it since there are only 2 gear changes per lap

I did run a few laps on the Kart Space one, first seasonal TT for me this year. I like these stock TTs as it was much easier to get up to speed due to not having to try to find a setup that is competitive so can concentrate on just the driving part.

Pace wise, looking at best sectors posted here I am very close, so I think I could have done a .7XX if I did a few more laps, below that I will have to get quite lucky to string a good lap together or spend a few more sessions on it. First three corners is really the make or break part of lap. Happened to be the break part of my current fastest time. It is one of them combos that you will benefit running a lot of laps. I didn't want to spend too much time on it though so will leave it at that.

@Spaztastic

None of the top times are cheating in this TT as far as I checked, the times are not mind boggling fast and you can view the top replays and see quite clearly if someone is cheating or not. It would probably require a lot of effort to try and even be able to cheat, and the people with them skills are most likely not interested in getting a fast time on a seasonal TT in GT5 .

You should spend more time trying to improve driving technique than thinking it is people cheating. GT5 has been in general one the most fairest games to compare yourself to others. Hopefully they manage a fix for them hybrids but I think a lot of people will like more stock TTs too like these current ones. Just hope the turnout for this TT is more than the tuned ones recently, so PD get the hint that we like these kind of TTs.

I have to change gear like 4 times :nervous: but i took a little sneak peak on your replay, and if I'm not mistaken, you use the handbrake in the first corner? which button have you assigned it to? I've been struggling so much in that corner, trying to hit the handbrake button on my wheel and what not.

HEY...EVERYONE... Saidur_Ali checked the replays... NOONE is cheating! 👍

Wouldn't it be neato if the Driving Line was hacked and all you need to do is brake and gas.

I found it more consistent and better for me to brake just before left side kerbing and also go into 2nd while going into corner. Try and take as much of inside kerb without cutting. Accelerate out quite early, you can do it quite well with little to no oversteer on exit if you get it just right and also with good minimum and exit speed. I think doodlemonoply also does it this way IIRC so you might want to check it out. I tried it BanditKarter's way on his fastest lap but found it hard to execute consistently and as good as other way I described.

I only saw the fastest times and really at the moment, no one has ever done any cheat regarding cars provided. If there was, we would have seen it in GT Academy TTs.

If driving line was forced as ideal line, I think it will be quite a bit slower than current top times.

I see one way it helps.... It's a lot more fun and makes the combo less of a bore! :D
