Good tune Stotty, found another half second thanks to that 👍 also I think you mean 1:26.xxx, not 1:27.xxx, as otherwise I'd be beating you

Another typo... must be getting senile

I'm running with the oil change and a full ballast at the rear which gives less power/weight than Stottys tune but has more power and torque lower down the rev range. It seems to make the car corner better. I also stiffened the rear dampers making the back end more stable which seems to make it much easier to get the power down as it doesn't seem to pogo so much. I'll post the tune if anybody is interested :)

The absolute stress of this... though stotty's tune definately better than what I was using
Managed one clean lap, 1'27.1xx
I'm done for now.

I was pulling my hair out with this one was about to call it day but then I just sort of stumbled on it. Just done a 126.376 for 9th :)

5th 1.636
6th 1.418
7th 1.194
final 2.926

Should give max speed of 193 mph
No wings although I may give the front wing a try later :)

Hoo Haa, used Stotty's tune and took off over a second, now #411 with 1:29.511.

Of course mine is a tad different, can never get the exact same gears for one, however I was sick of the sound of the Titanium exhaust so went back to the sports exhaust and upped max power = 683hp at 1485kg, wing at 35 and 172kg ballast @ 50.
Also using TC 1, on and off, but was on when I took off the second.
Thanks for that mate. Keeping within my 4 sec margin from the lead, as usual.

Using a dfgt feedback set to 3 and simulation mode

Just a heads up. Simulation mode isn't helping you at all as that setting, or any of the other two, applies to your wheel. The simulation, professional, and amateur settings only apply to the 3 wheels that are highlighted when those options are selected. The only settings that work with the DFGT are feedback and the Power-Assist setting.

So this is the place you guys hang out.
I shall be joining in and hopefully speed up time with tuning.

Welcome to the site 👍

Lots of chat about the TT's in the seasonals section... and some tune sharing too :)

I've had enough of these TT's! I haven't done any online racing against human players at all in the past 2 weeks and it really takes it's toll on your GT "social life"

If anyone is up for some spec/shuffle racing give me a holler on PSN and I'll be sure to add you as soon as I can 👍

Reached my concentration limit for today. There's so little front end grip and rear end traction - it's not a car for me to run really long sessions in!

1:26.793, currently 11th, but the tune's capable of running faster.

Thanks Stotty, i'll give it a try!

Well that was frustrating!

Stuck your suspension settings on my car Mazzy, and went half a tenth quicker 2nd lap, which is strange as it nomally takes me a while to get in to a groove... 2 hours later only found another half a tenth.

I know it's quick, and I know I should have nailed a low 1:26, but just can't seem to string a lap together :banghead:

Sometimes you hit your peak straight away then you focus 2 much on where your going wrong and get into bad habits, half an hour spurts and you will get there :)

I am hitting 152mph at the start line so if your not achieving that maybe you could try it with the oil change and my gear ratio setup.

I did try a new car set up exactly to your settings too... guess I'm just not 'on it' today.

Watching the footy now - and not feeling like slitting my wrists for once :D

Hmmm... maybe I adjusted the final 1st, not 100% sure.

Try using Mazzy's gears. They are a bit shorter than mine but work really well - I did lengthen 3rd and 4th slightly to avoid a couple of places where I found I needed to change up then change down again very soon after.

Thanks for posting your tune Stotty,it helped me a lot. 👍

I found I couldn't achieve your gears either but I'll try Mazzys ratios.

Also,I couldn't get your hp/weight/pp figures until I realised that I hadn't stage 3'd the engine........Me = Doughnut :dopey:

Try that:
Set maximum speed to minimum, then set Final Gear to 4.500 (or something around it), then move TopSpeed once to right and back. Range of all gears will be changed. Tune Final gear value untill u get 3.223 as minimum for 1st gear.

I dont know how did it peoples who knows how to setup gearbox, because in each tune he miss that step.

PS.
Thx Stotty for tune, now i get 1:28:4 after 1 hour of driving, but i need more concetration to get better result =)

Seems like I raised the final before setting the max speed to minimum :D

I think Mazzy's tune is good... I was running a hybrid of his and mine today and could feel it had potential to be really quick.

I did a 126.3 after hitting the final wall in the tunnel yesterday and nearly cried as I must have lost at least 0.2. A sub 126 is very possible with that tune I think. May have another go tomorrow having a day off today!
