Had a few races with GTP_Nige and SouthendRage. Went pretty well except for the LeonTDI dude in the silver Clio which rammed Nige off track. After that a race with J-Pap, Ardius and some other guys. Apart from a judgement error on my side, which sent me into the kitty litter, it went pretty well. All Swifts finished within a few seconds, nice!

Ahh, so you are a GTP member! I kinda had a feeling you were, yes GTP_Nige did get unlucky at times but he did excessively block me on one occasion, and I did see him push someone off, but it may have been an accident.

Unlucky I did not see some more drivers like sphinx, Jase, timppaq or ardius, I was looking forwrd to a good race with all of us in it. Had some good races still! When I get into a race with Sphinx, I may let him win to say sorry for yesterday Unless he wins anyway of course.

The guy in the silver Clio was deliberately punting on several occasions. But coming into Spoon he overshot into the kitty litter because I was expecting him to do so and broke out of my line.

Congrats southendrage on the win. I was full of mistakes that race. Into the kitty litter every lap I think. At least was able to steal second in the end.

I thought I had definitely lost having a race with any other gtp'ers after the failed to connect message. not sure if ardius or southendrage had the same happen?

I'm meant to be studying for a test right now or at least sleeping since its 5am... Oh well

Its pretty cool actually. its very similar to the TLD tune and makes up for the downgrade in tyres with the suspension settings. However, the extra power sort of negates that and I personally find it to be even worse for understeer. Still, its a very good tune and its clearly up there with the rest. In fact, all of the tunes are very equal, its just like J-pap says, each one is for a different driving style.

TLD's is still the one for me because although it doesnt have the pulling power, it has much better cornering speed and less under-steer than the other tunes.

However, only 2 races is not a fair judgement, so Im going to be using the DC tune for the rest of night before coming to a conclusion.

Wow! Good racing J-pap and Ardius! I can say I set the fastest laps I have ever done online in the Swift in that race. Your car seemed extremely fast in the straights J-Pap, how much power is it set up for? My swift only had about 180- TLD setup. You were extremely fast in that race but you made quite a few mistakes, is this because your car is set up for speed, not cornering? Where is the link to your setup, if you don't want to explain

Thanks for the nice review. Personally, I find the understeer can be countered quite well by alternating the lift-off -and power oversteer. But it's all very, very close indeed. If it weren't for errors, they'd finish even closer together.

I really like this Swift Cup event, I am looking forward to the next event with a different car. Tonight's races were pretty cool! 👍 The second race with AMG, Timppaq and a few others started a little nervous (for me anyway ) at first, which lead to exchanging some paint with Timppaq, but no serious contact. Very fun race too. 👍

Yeah, lifting off is what I do, but in the TLD I dont need to lift off as much, so i think it says a lot.
Still, Im really liking your tune, if I hadnt used the TLD one before hand, Id likely like yours more.....its just Ive probably got used to driving the TLD one and adapted my driving style for it. Thats why Im driving the DC one a bit more before I come to a conclusion.

I see your tune J-pap, it's definentally more speed, I may try it out, but is that 2.27 reference time done in online Free-run or Online race? I think iv'e done a 2.26 in the TLD tune in free practice, but seeing as how easily you caught up after going off that many times, I may give it a go. (I actually like slighty oversteery cars)

EDIT:You guys won't see me again today because i'm done, I will be racing tommorow and lok forward to it! I may even use J-Pap's settings.

It was just an off race for me that one. Plus a probably pushed a little too much especially after making mistakes and trying to catch back up. There is a link to my tune in the OT. Otherwise take a look at L-Tune in the car settings and tuning section.



I'm calling it a night for me. Very close race that last one. Timppaq you are very fast. Gave me a bit of an adrenalin rush. Managed to make it 3 wins for the day for L-tune. I'll probably be back for racing in 2 nights again.


edit: that reference time of 2.27 needs to be updated. I did a 2.26.xxx earlier when I was just warming up for tonights racing. It was done in free run mode.

This Cup will change every few weeks, it may be a 750PP race one week, the next may be a PP600...it depends on the tuner showdowns.

It wasnt my night, grrrr, lots of kitty litter and all my own fault, also switched tunes but went back to TLD tune. R2s are not for me.
