only a few people can use the app. How does this make you feel?

  • It makes me feel cheated. PD should make the app available for everyone.

  • I have an iPad, it works for me, so meh. I don't care about the whiners.

  • I guess I feel sad about it, I really wanted to try it.

  • Looks like I'm getting a tablet..

  • All this time I was hyped for this feature. Now I'm unsure anout my future and Gran Turismo.

  • ??? What do you mean not all of us can use the app?

  • I'll just emu it when it works. I really don't care that much.

  • Meh!

  • If it comes to other devices, I'll be really glad. I want to use my smartphone and/or PC.

They mention in the GTP article that it may take a little bit for the app stores to update everywhere. That's sort of out of PDs control.
Nah I've found it on the app store and both devices are well above whats needed but for whatever reason they ain't compatible.

I had a 90% feeling the app was going to be tablet only, but I was still hopeful. Just to find out that my phone wasn't supported. Oh well, maybe for Black Friday I'll buy a cheap tablet, I can always use other peoples courses in the mean time.

you create your tracks during class or at work....

you go home and you test it out...

I dont see the problem ?!?

Well, I'm going to wait a bit to see what transpires. I just dumped the price of a tablet into my 8 year old HP desktop with Vista Premium. Yeah yeah, I know....still has over 500 gigs free space, is as fast as my son's brand new Asus laptop, and does everything I want it to. If Andy OS works, I can wrap my mind around that.

If not, as they say in baseball... swing and a miss!

I'm disgusted. When I first saw the app, I never though that it would be the only way to make tracks in GT6. I never thought PD would be that stupid.

I was wrong. Seriously, I'm losing faith in PD. They've made a lot of dumb choices, but this is so retarded that I just can't at all understand it.

I could excuse a lot of the things they've done in the past. Not listening to their customers. But this just proves they have their fingers so far off the pulse of the fans that how can anyone expect GT7 not to be more of the same crap?

They do some things right, but continue to get other things so wrong they've went from universally known as the best racing developer in the business to a laughing stock to some people and this is by far the worst insult to us yet.

What a ludicrous decision, I have a quite new smartphone certainly one good enough to run most things and my old man has a tablet and neither can run it, I thought the whole point was about using GPS and suchlike, Uh hello PD if I wanted to use something location based I'd carry my phone not a computer screen around with me.

Now this is in no way me being butthurt or whatever it is the kids call it these days as I am in the market for a tablet soon "For business use" and I feel sorry for the people who held out hope for the coursemaker only to find out judging by this thread quite a few people don't have the means to use it, Hate to say it but with this and the whole GT6 microtransactions trend I wouldn't be surprised to see GT7 being a mobile game (I called it 30/09/15 :)

I'm not spending another dime on this cheap iteration of GT. They've already ripped me off by yanking all the endurance races and now they narrow the field here by telling me I need a tablet to make a track! A tablet that will likely cost more than I paid for the game. It's going to be strictly OPTs (other peoples tracks) for me..:grumpy:

Does anyone know what size display you need or what Android tablets work with GT6 Course Path Editor??

Why cant CM be like it was for GT5, create and edit on PS3, not having a certain tablet to use it.
On my G2 it is not available. However, is it against the AUP to set up a tutorial how to use an Android emulator on Windows?

I think it's still not currently available for most of the world, honestly I'm probably going to wait until tomorrow to see if it's fully up just to be safe.

No, I can see the app, but Google Play tells me that my device is the problem.

I've already tried it with an Android emulator with it set to different countries and the same problem that I keep on getting is that it's not available in those countries yet......

Dang. I was hoping for an in-game course maker or at least a Windows store app. Windows never gets anything fun. :(

Even so, I'll just run an Android emulator. No big deal.

Apparently my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 is not enough because it's 7 inch :(

If it will work on emulators you guys should have no problems with the tablet issue.

I've tried it on Andy but I got stuck at "checking compatibility" or something.
