G-Power M5 Touring.

700 BHP and nobody needs to know.

Ok. Still, far from appropiate for this thread.

Wrong "far from appropiate" to you, the OP has no rules apart from the fact that any car has to be modified, stop talking as if you set the rules and own this thread, nobody does apart from the creater of it.

Wrong, those McLarens are actually road cars with livery's based off've the racing cars, same goes with those R32's.

Do your research.

And hmmm what is a racecar again? Ahh yes, a MODIFIED car.

A 3 second google search turns up that those McLarens are race cars.
Specifically the one in front that finished 3rd at Le Mans.

Maybe next time you should do your research.

Edit: He's not alone, race cars have their own threads, they don't fit well with this one.
Oh and drop the picture trolling, you're just digging a hole.

They're replicas, made to look just like the racing version but are still road legal, oh guess what, the racing versions also look the same.

No, they're not replicas.
That exact chassis was used for racing.

The exact chassis is in the road car too hahah!

Anyways...

Quit bickering about the fact that there are racing cars in this thread, thats not against any rules to put them in here, its just you guys bigging up your personal opinions as if to make it seem like rules, racecars are still modified cars nonetheless, and I find it shameful that you guys cannot accept it.

My point being that your definition was invalid. That is all.

You saying that race cars "are not always modified" is true, but that also means that alot are still modified, so actually that means my definition is valid, I never said "All racing cars are modified" now did I? All I said was "Racing cars are modified."

Does it say in the OP "Racecars not allowed."

Nope, they're still modified cars nonetheless.

How did this GT3 Lamborghini start out before it was MODIFIED into a race car? A potato? A carrot? Wrong, the fullstock roadcar, not a fish no.
Because according to you guys these cars are not modified.

LOL its as if you guys are saying everything is modified until you start slapping some branding stickers and racing numbers on the car, then its back to being not a modified cat at all

Regardless of what you think, you're mainly looking for the Imports thread. Perhaps we need guidelines for these. If we're really to continue like this then we might as well have this thread, the questionable modifications thread, the imports thread, and the muscle cars thread combined and just call it "Cars". :indiff:

Not always, but alot of them still are, your point being?

Oh look numberplates & grooved tyres! Never seen those on the original racing versions.

The racing McLarens were so close to the road cars that a majority of them were modified back to be road legal when they were no longer competitive on track.

Even road car based race cars, these days, will have never been a complete road car at any point. They'll be built up from a raw shell, which in it's self will be seem welded and modified to suit its purpose.

Hence the reason why they still belong to this thread.
