TCV5 HURRY THE HELL UP thread

Of all the following...

# Speed (Power, Acceleration, Top Speed on circuit) = 25 Points
# Handling (corner speed, turn in, braking etc.) = 25 Points
# Versatility (ability to do similar times on various lines) = 20 Points
# Battle Monster (lap time vs benchmark) = 20 Points
# Improvement over stock = 10 Points

...I think I could get good points from Handling, Battle Monster, and Improvement over stock. Speed is a relative think, I believe. For the car, I think I got it pretty good, but it will be up to the judges. I will post the entry later today, as I don't feel like posting it now

Well i've just started "fudging" a supercar entry. All i'll say for now is that the project will be know as the Fudge V12 GT...

:lol::D:P

@adamgp: I'd been playing around with the V8S despite not quite knowing the rules, picking it cause it's 1050kg. I'll probably pick another now, but good luck with it, it's a fun one to tune.

It cost me 7,491,509cr to judge the last one. I didn't sell any of my own ones, but won and sold seventeen Toyota Rally Raid cars.

The V8S was fun to tune, but seems handicapped with only being a 5 speed. Still pretty fun though.

As for cash, do like I did. Get an AR Max and do the money cheat, now I got 4.5 trillion cr. That way I don't have to run the same race over and over.

It's actually 4.5 QUINTILLION. There's three more 0's before you even get to the trillion area. ;)

I have 55million which I earned myself. So ner. :P

Heavyweight is still to be decided. Swaying towards another Beemer, though.

Boys & Girls, welcome a112 for entering TCv5. 👍 Good luck with your MR-S in lightweight. :)

As for me, I've FINALLY found my lightweight runner after testing no less than 10 different cars from Alfa to Mazda to Honda to Nissan to Toyota. :D:D:D:D A forgotten child that was destined for GME but held back because it was too wild at the time.....it's now been detuned for TCv5 regulations and it's turned into a tamed tiger.

This entry is currently running 2.00's at GVS which is a minimum of 3 seconds faster than the other rides and the others were all running low to high-1.30's at Motegi with my driving, so a cool 1.27 is more along the lines of what I'm targeting (I haven't done my Motegi test laps yet!). For example, the Alfa which I mentioned as retro #1 would've got the nod for handling and performance but I was only doing 2.04's at GVS & 1.30.8 at Motegi.....not good enough in the laptime category in my eyes, especially as I know the Stratos can do 1.21's and the 111R is not far behind that.

This car is quick, but not as extreme as the Stratos or 111R which makes it very playful when driving rewarding a variety of driving styles, but will still grab you in the never regions and twist them off quite hard if you don't respect it. :mischievous:

So, 3 down.....1 to go. Supercar, the hardest category. And since it's supercar, it has to be quicker than the middleweight cars (which seem to be dominating the time sheets...:boggled:!) so we'll see how we go here but I'll be reaching for a really evil fully loaded weapon and aiming for a 1.20 or possibly quicker.

Thanks for welcome.
My mid class car is in progress,i hope will be finished in day or two.
Good luck to everyone 👍

How are you guys on judges? I'd be keen to be a judge (it will give me an excuse for not doing study lol) but wondered if theres some sort of benchmark that my driving should be at?
Cheers
Eschey

Welcome a112!

And the middleweights are dominating the time sheets because that's where my NSX-R is. :P

My driving fails hard at Motegi I think. 1'21, what? O.o

Thanks for the interest but all four positions have been filled. The judges were mentioned in this post.

But you're more than welcome to enter in any of the categories. :)

Battle of the red NSX's! Nice choice there a112. :D

R vs S, it'll be very interesting to see which comes out on top. 👍

Vince- Thats the car I have been tinkering with as a heavy weight. I think I might enter it in the supercar class though.

@ABud:
Built around the principle that someone has to come last...

That's a great intro mate. But I think you may have some competition with the Frankenstein's dog of a thing I'm entering...

EDIT: Great choice of car by the way. ETZ Tuning did a brilliant version of this car designed for the Italia races.

Cheers, i'm just entering for a laugh more than anything. I've not really done any tuning before apart from one 1/4 mile entry and one entry in the 300mph club. I've got a supercar on the go which should nicely prop up the tables too:cheers:

R is far more competitive, but i thought it might be fun. :)

Cheers.

I've worked out all my cars for each division and just fine tuning the suckers now. My supercar had to get ballast to make WPR....all 1kg of it.:P

Some simple stats about my upcoming entries:

- Three are powered by V8's but none are American.
- My cars have a combined output of 1602hp.
- All the cars are painted silver/grey. :sly:

Well i've just added my supercar entry - a tuned Auston Martin Vanquish. It's going to be really interesting to see how it does against the DB9 that's also been posted up :). I may just work on one more tune, maybe...

I'm actually really looking forward to drivin this one! I've always had a soft spot for those cars that dont' fall under the typical categories.

Hmm, great minds think alike?

That must be it. :) I'm planning on entering it in the heavyweight class.

On a related note, I have found my supercar entry. Runs close to the same speed as my Shelby despite being 400kg heavier.

Oh do your thing, I was just brainstorming anyway.

So mafs, could you round up some numbers per category: how many entrants does every class have right now? Off course I'd like to enter every category, but I would be 'delighted with the knowledge'. ;)

Certainly Vince. 👍

So far we have:
7 in Lightweight
7 in Middleweight
1 in Heavyweight
5 in Supercar

22 entries in total. :)
