TCV5 HURRY THE HELL UP thread

My heavyweight and supercar entries have been posted. Time to start building everyone elses entries.

Is it just me or is Amartya's Subaru far FAR below the P/W cutoff?

He specifies 473hp and stage 3 weight reduction which puts it at 1079kg if memory serves (1100kg at most), which puts the P:W at something like 2.2!

It's not even just that. There is no weight figure there, and you would be somewhere in that figure. I'll double check this and get back to you all on this later tonight.

This isn't the first car I've had trouble with either from him, his Evo was over the limit for middleweight so he put it in supercar instead.

Actually, I've just double checked, he's put TWO entries for Supercar. THAT'S NOT ALLOWED AT ALL!! I'll PM him with the problems. Thanks for that. 👍

give me a week, I'm gonna have to check my tunes to see which ones comply with which class.., I'm not gonna pass this, no sir I wouldn't..,

amartya, do you expect an STi with Stage 3 weight reduction to be in heavyweight now??:lol::lol::lol::lol: I politely asked to change it and was going to leave it at that, but to see this?! :odd::odd:

Get a copy of GT4 off anyone or rent it or whatever, but fix those tunes please!!

When mafs performs a quintuple laugh, the fail is massive

Yet I don't know what's worse. The fact that his numbers don't make any sense or the fact that I should have uploaded my tune a while back.

I would have sooooo tuned the "3rd" Pagani Zonda should the categories had been more flexible. Damn you, TCV5!

Just entered my final car, a RUF 3400S in middleweight. Im surely guaranteed a loser out of one of those three

The Boxster is a great choice ABud. 👍

C-L, the Zonda C12 is legal in Supercar, and also in heavyweight when ballast is added.

Man, I'm so confused by the date stuff.

So does it all have to be done by the 4th? Or is the 4th just a cut-off date for tuner entries? If it has to be done by the 4th, there's no worries on my part,...I've already started judging privately, and I'm making good progress. When I'm done (and the judge's thread is up) all I'll have to do is cut & paste my results. But what if (for whatever reason) I'm not fully done by hte 4th?

Then you'll take your time to make sure you've done all the judging. When you're done you'll post it up the judges thread.

Cool. Got it. So the July 4th cutoff is jsut for entries, then?

Am I the only one who's a total dumbass?

don't feel bad, we all have had our little dumbass moments. I've decided to irritate everyone and post my tunes on fourth so the judges will be busy with atleast one of my cars. :mischievous: it is a low mile special after all.. ;)

thank goodness

Since I was having no luck figuring what heavyweight to use, I've been playing Forza a bit (DONT SHOOT ME) and I've got a nice clear head for GT4 again.

I'll have one done by the 4th, don't worry. 👍

There ain't nothing wrong with Forza, man,...who told you that? Forza has some things about it that are better than GT4, and GT4 has some things better than Forza. :yuck: I like 'em both, honestly.

Ah I'm just messing. :P It just feels funny saying Forza on a GT site, that's all. :dopey:

I like Forza for the custom decalling and some extra cars it has over GT4. Oh and engine swaps too. Who doesn't want an Impreza Spec C motor in the lighter 2.5RS body? :D

Anyway enough of that, it's 2am, goodnight! :ouch:

I mentioned earlier my gaming with Forza 2. It really does help with clearing the head. Something about playing a game without any other requirements (i.e Tuning) is hugely beneficial.

Now back to PGR 4 (lol).

I too have been taking a GT4 break, but I have been playing Mafia.

Nothing like blowing away cops and other gangsters with a tommy gun (or a sawed-off shotgun) to relieve some stress from work.

Police chases with cool 1920-1930's gangster cars are fun too.

Hey Adamgp, are you officially teamed up with a gt4 tuning garage? As I judge, I'm trying to label each car in the TCV5 as to which garage it was tuned at.

I got one called Muscle Car Garage. Haven't released anything new in a while so it fell off the front page of the tuning and settings forum.

Very good then. I'll make sure I add it.

WEll, I'm done judging all the lightweights (hopefully there won't be new ones) so now I'm moving on to middleweight cars. :)

screw that, I ain't done yet. ;)

There will be.

PF
One from me too, Parnelli. You might want to stock up on coffee.

Dangit! :ouch: Don't expect me to be done everything by the 4th, then. Not if you want a thorough analysis of each vehicle, that is.

My tunes came from "The Killer Chinchilla Garage", in case you need a label PB. :D

Thanks. Yea, I was gonna ask you next, Jonn.

a112, ABud (and anyone else I'm forgetting) how about you guys? You teamed up with a garage or just acting independently? And Balang, is 'Balang Project' your garage?
