shmogt,

Have you tried the Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99? I think it's a seriously awesome car to drift. Fully tuned it has over 960 horses and it's also very stable. Not to mention, it looks pretty awesome as well.

Ya I got one. I made it a special drifter for certain tracks. I might do a all purpose one for here.

you should totally do the cadillac cien concept, it drifts pretty much stock and has loads of power. when i try to go through a corner in a normal race it just slides all over the place and its a cool looking car

It'll be added to the list

doesnt the cadillac cien have one of those evil gearboxes that often takes like half a second to change from 3rd to 4th while drifting? sure i remember tryin to make one drift and that the gearbox annoyed me no matter how much i tweaked it, i keep gettin the same problem with 3rd to 4th with the acura nsx rm i tuned for drift

lol ya I get that all the time. Idk if it has one tho. Best advice is when in 4 and need to slow down go all the way down to 2 than drift a bit and shift to 3 while drifting to maintain power through out the whole drift.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG 2010

This car looks amazing. I put some pastel blue paint on it to give it that old school 300SL look. I think it really looks cool i the old 300SL paints too since it looks new, but keeps the traditional look. It is also a monster. The thing tares up the track. I find you can throw it down and have a great time or be cautious and get some super clean drifts going.

the BBcode stuff wontshow at it seems that sharing for them has been disabled, but im unsure how to change that :S

edit: it appears that you may have disabled all sharing for that account as none of the images show the BBcode option, might be worth having a look in your account settings to see if it shows sharing disabled there or if the photos have been restricted

One of my friends challenged me to a drifting duel tonight, I'm not good at drifting at all :scared:
What car do you think is the easiest beginners drift car?

Lexus IS F Racing Concept 2008

Well I have had this car for a long time now and never up the tune. Personally I didn't really like it and figured it was pointless. I have worked on it a lot more to try to make it much better and I will say it is much improved the car is just weird. I find it just a tiny bit over that limit of normal car and into full race car which makes for horrible drift cars. That being said it can drift, it isn't very hard and it does land decent points.

P.S. the pics were taken by The Car Tuner

Could you do a drift a drift tune for one of the older premium Mazda MX-5's?

I been thinking of doing one of those. I always wondered why there is so many mx-5's and yet I never see anyone drift them.

if i remember rightly, the older ones arnt that easy to get big drifts outta, kinda end up for smaller tracks, i started tryin to make one drift many moons ago an got annoyed so thought id leave it be for a day or two but just never got back to it lol

It's prob just because they have low power. If the premium one is no good than I'll just see which is the best and do that one.

With the premium ones you can put either a turbo or supercharger, turbo is 2bhp more whereas supercharge has sighlty better torque and better powerband, i have the supercharger on mine. Running 250bhp.

turns out i was clueless at tuning when i last tried to drift the premium mx5, not alot of power but with the right setup they realy not that bad, and as Aston said, does seem to be easier with supercharger, still light enough to make do without alot of power tho

In general I'm not in favor of drifting race cars, but I tried your Lexus IS F Racing Concept '08 tune. It's a bit squirrelly, but it works pretty well. The premium concept car that I think might be good for drifting is the Infiniti Coupe Concept '06. It's a bit down on power (483HP), but even with the stock settings it was holding some decent drifts. Speaking of concept cars, I applied your BMW 135i Coupe '07 to the BMW Concept 1 Series tii '07 (looks sportier) and it worked out great! I love your tunes. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. Someone asked if the BMW tune would work on that car and I told them it should. Good to know it actually works well lol.
