Don't you have a manual when you are in game and hit the PS button? When I bought MGS1 last night on PSN I noticed that's where they put the manuals.

That's for PS1 download games only.

EDIT: And maybe PS2 download titles, not sure about that.

the stupid thing is that all cars have the same physic, f1 from from 54 has the same downforce and drifting of an f1 87..just wow

I disagree. Oh, do I very well disagree. The F1 cars can and will slide. Esp the F1 87. You're still in the power generation, that's not the downforce/aero generation of Formula 1.

Keep going through the campaign, wait till you drive the 250 Testa Rossa, and the 250 GTO's... and just wait till' you get to the 312/67 F1. SMS wouldn't inject every car with the same physics in their revived now finally born project.

312 F1-67 is great fun to drive. What a joy to slide all over MISTY LOCH

330 P4 is like Pagani Zonda only with lack of that magnificent power. So it's my favorite car so far.

F1-90 <-- now joke is over  For unknown to me reason my game unlocked that monster, and i didn't either win it or even drive in Silver era Top of the Tower race. It just did so i take it for a spin on Monza GP (1958) and what a rush that was. Now it's locked again and i can't even make a movie from that drive. So i know when i finally reach that race in Campaign then I'm pretty much screwed :indiff: It might be a good time to hide my pride and drive with Aids Like ABS turned ON :yuck:

Weird bug or maybe warning from fate.

even f2011 slides, do not need to go with the career, i used codes, didn't buy the game, it's a review copy. all the cars behaviour in the same manner to me.

I have to disagree too. I'm fully committed to Campaign races and they all about learn and adapt to each car. Each car is different and that's why it's so many races in each Era.

i don't really get how you guys can say that the cars are really different in the handling, the only things chanhing to me are speed and acc.. nothing more. I was drifting the f1 2011 just as like the enzo.. just to say how mad is this game. However is super fun and has good tracks. i'm not saying the game is bad.. it has just a physic that is senseless.

Well i just finish F333 SP races. One of them was on short part at Nordschleife called Aremberg.

I did quick video to show you guys why i thing that this game is based on Shift 1 rather than Shift 2. For someone who played Nordschleife so many times i can tell which is which.

Again with no sound, and i have no idea why.

The graphics of this game looks really nice (and still I think better on PS3 than X360).

Pitty for the wheel suport and the distribution...

Curiously, are you using a wheel? I can see it feeling the same with the controller. Which isn't honestly fun at all. But with the DFGT, it's a freakin' blast, and every car is completely different feeling to me. Going from the 330 P4, to the 312/67, then to the 246 Dino, it took some adjustment time to get used to.

Question 1: How about the F2008? That was the height of aero for modern F1, the F2011/150 Italia... I can see that being a handful.

I'm still going through the Golden Era, but the 246 Dino races are mentally straining to me for some reason. But is it me, ( Question 2 ) or is this game really easy though? I'm wiping the competition on hard. For example... the 5 lap silverstone race with the Dino's, I won by 48.5 seconds. The time trails would sometimes give me a hardtime. Only two time trials/average time of two or three laps, have got me so far.

Also Question 3... the Celebrity Race with the 365 GTS I think it was, anyone find that one difficult? Where you had to make one position per lap. The AI does nothing but wreck on Misty Loch ( What a fantastic flowing track that is! ) So you have to slow down and wait for them to go. The AI is avid about avoiding you... or just being confused all the time... but they'll flop and plop around the track.... or actually race... seen them go 5 wide on Monza 1968's straight. Yeah... I'm sure they're confused.

Those missions are quite fun. Ill remember that one race, it was hard to tame myself from overtake all competition on first lap. Just one per lap and more tho that you have to brake and wait for those crashed cars.

I've finished Gold era and currently I'm in half way with modern cars. And even there the difference between cars is strongly visible.

Silver era ill do last :sly:

Oh yes, difficult but quite fun! It took a couple tries, little frustrating because I waited for quite some time then had to seriously push to close the gap to get to the next position required. It really opens a challenge.

Throwing a twist like the last 5 laps of an endurance around Misty Loch... half way through the first lap of you taking control, then BAM! "Your arm is cramped and you can't change gears" Keepin' those revs high, and being stuck in 4th gear for 4 1/2 laps. That's going to be a memorable gaming moment.

I'm trying to do it all in order, it just feels completely right for some reason.

I have founded this picture of the game:

Has any user unlocked the 430 Challenge? Can confirm that if you select it in Quick Race the rival cars shows different race painting? And other Challenge models?

Thanks.

I'm not there yet. Still a lot of races to unlock this one. But now im racing 355 Challenge which is paited in racing Liveries.

Anyway a word of warning about something i didn't noticed before. In Campaign / Prototype. Last two races are full 10 laps endurances on Hockenheimring GP and second race is also 10 lap on Imola GP.

Try to build a huge lead over other cars, because on 7th lap you start to feel tire wear and fuel lose. As for the fuel it's OK because it will last until last lap.

But the tire wear on 8th 9th and finally 10th lap is something you can't change in pit having 25 second lead. There is no tire change. You have to drive smooth and still your cars start to lose back end and you spin more often losing huge lead.

Quick question, didn't find this out myself yet: does this game offer a photomode? At least a basic one, like select your angle and shoot the picture? And if it does, is there a way to export these shots to the XMB of your PS3 (and to the PC then)?

For ps3 during the race and after it there is only Replay option where you can see your lap from different view, and switch to other cars as well. Save it and view later, maybe share on-line but I'm not sure.

There is no photo mode in this game like you described. Kind like it was in Shift.

Ohhhh and I've discover what are missing Crown look Aid means. It's Driving style. Novice had only one stripe at the bottom, Normal has two stripes. And Pro is fully filled with black color.

Is it possible to select the color of your F355 Challenge in Quick Race? And set up to 15 AI cars?

This is a good point for those people looking for simulation, isn´t it?

It is possible to set tire wear and fuel consumption in Quick Races?

Thanks again.

Hmm too bad. I was hoping to finally be able to take some Ferrari F355 shots...
Whatever. thanks for the info. 👍

In campaign you can't choose/change liveries for the car game gives you to race.

But once that car is awarded to you then you can choose from 17 liveries and race with 15 AI cars set to any difficulty you fancy.

I did not fund any options letting me turn on or off tire wear and fuel consumption. There are number of long Endurance races in F-333 SP where you will feel that on last three laps your car has stronger tendency to spin. And it's harder to controll

For example  (this scenario is really freaking cool) final race in Prototype Sports Cup you race with your team mate.

The race is well underway and we're nearing the end. Charlie is running 1st and has a substantial lead but Chuck's made he's way up to 3rd place. You must catch and overtake Chuck and ensure he doesn't finish in the top 3. Don't play dirty though. If you collide with Chuck you could be stripped of the championship!

So my task is to catch those leading cars, I'm in 5th. Then overtake 3rd, slow down so me and he's overtake by faster cars than we, because I've slow down. Then i have to again overtake those cars that take my place and jump into 2nd. Maintain that place to end of race.

It's the hardest scenario so far. Because on last two laps I'm unable to control my car any longer. It spins out of control, drive slower. And there is no way i can replace my tire in pit stop. I can go off the track into the pit lane but my car automatically drive through and went back on race track with tires in same condition.

Only way i can win this race is if i drive first 4 laps out of 7 as smooth i can really go and somehow without sliding my car too much. Then when i force that 3 rd car to drop into 4th and maybe lower i can only hang on for dear life praying while racing in 2nd place to not spin somewhere the way to finish.

Thank you very much, ussr, for the video and all the info you are giving us.

For the vid noise, I suposse you play using a Logitech G wheel. Have you adviced any kind of lag in turn control?

And what about the online? had you try it? Do you know if it has any cooperative mode?

TBH that sounds fun as hell. 👍

I'm not sure if anyone else has taken notice. But there's one thing reading the game features... It stuck out to me.

Multiple Race Types - A variety of race types challenges including rally, GT, and Formula 1.

Now the question is only one, Where's the rally portion of the game?

The only Ferrari rally car that does come to mind is the Ferrari 308 GTB's. Which participated in the FIA Group 4.

There is a confirmation in the Facebook page of the game from some users posting that the game don´t recognize the Trustmaster T500 RS Racing Wheel.

In the T500 Facebook page the Thrustmaster staff talk about a patch...
