Second biggest disapointment for me is the sound, every car i drive sounds terrible, worse than the original game (I don't own, but played it at a friends house) by a long way, it sounds like someone is playing the car sounds through a cheap old 80s synth keyboard.
The sound of the Ferrari at the start is the nastiest example. You hear the recorded version reving and then driving off into the distance, it sounds good.. then you drive the car and the sound is completely different, you have to change gear at what by the sound is a much lower rev, all of the complexity in the recording is replaced by the low definition midi sounding crap.
Above you're saying that because you cannot turn the car around a corner at 140mph that there is understeer? There is no understeer, there is a limitation on how fast you can turn a corner, which is completely different.
Lets say you lose control of the car, in real life you would countersteer to regain control, in the game it regains control for you so by countersteering you will then lose control in the other direction, if you then countersteer the other way you will simply turn in that direction, so the only way to regain control is to let the game do it for you, because steering will do just that.
Imagine that the game is setup that by steering you're not turning the wheels, you're turning the car. I have said i think the game is fun, but it is a FACT, not an opinion that the physics are fubar, and for a driving/racing game of this day and age it is amazing that they can have the mindframe that what they have created (as a driving experience) is good.
What this is, is a glorified standalone expansion pack for TDU1. and certaintly not a push on any boundries.
