I'm using both cars..... I've been working with the skyline, trying to make it just as fast as the Cobra R!
 
Running with both at the moment. Just enjoying the rides. Z06 slightly faster. Which gave me a new found respect for the Vette.
 
The T times I posted were done with the Viper. I'll spend some time with the 'Vette tonight.
 
Watch that line you're dancing Nenad, that's revealing towards your final time. And I'm also quite sure under a minute is nothing special for five of us here.

Hmmm... I think I can scratch off 2-3 or even 4 tenths ;) I never said it was something special. :dopey:

I'm going to have to shave some time - the Corvette isn't good in the last corner, and I think that many other cars will have a good shot to make up 0.15 there. :scared:

T2: 0'39.006

The NSX is a dream car on this great track! :D I shaved off a second off my fastest laptime and that is probably the most I can get out of the Landshark, although I'm not satisfied with the T1 time... T2 seems to be on the limit. :crazy:

I would be tempted by AMN's NSX, but I don't have to drive it to believe that there is little doubt that it will be the fastest car here, simply by virtue of the base car's capabilities - and I'm not interested in simply taking the fastest car available.

Seriously, those are great splits; it's just that none of the other cars is blessed with the ludicrous grip and balance of the stock NSX. I certainly won't be able to match your lap time.

Actually, the key with this car is that you brake fully for the first corner and steer to the left at the same time. That way you get into a drift, which lets you attack the next left corner at great speed, which you have to carry through the corner just before the tunnel by lifting the throttle and steering. 👍 The stock car's grip is great on it's sports tyres, the R1 tyres work even better.

EDIT: I can almost go full throttle through corners 6E & 4G. So much to the massive grip.

Camcorder and ghost lap would be fine.

Camcorder? I have no camcorder. I'll either have to buy or borrow someone else's or film it with my crappy mobile phone. Last option sounds best. :P Should I film the whole lap showing my fastest laptime or just T1 & T2?

EDIT: I have no Maxdrive (What is it anyway? :odd:). :lol:

Understand that it's no personal attack, just quite impressive that you not only found you two or four tenths, but a lopping whole second, ;)

I know. It's just that I haven't drifted through the first corner before and I lost a lot of time by braking before that tunnel. :ouch:

So, whole lap or just up to T2 time?
 
Just up to T2, no need to reveal until deadline. Unless this is your final effort.
 
This is my story so far.....good in first corner, crap in all other corners. :lol: Will return with more and some split times, still chasing this original ghost I set yesterday!! :ouch:

Okay, here's some splits after a bit more driving.

T1 - 21.683
T2 - 39.650

Still got a bit to catch in that first and last corner, either I put a great lap on with a crappy run onto the straight or a real great run onto the straight with mistakes through the first corners. I reckon another 0.2 on each area is for the offering for me. :) Hopefully my laptime won't put me in last. :cool:

Finally built the car and am just getting used to it. It's a handful, for sure!

Sorry for the bad quality. My N95 died and I had to use my sister's mobile phone :yuck:

As you can see, I drifted through the first corner by braking and steering at the same time. Doing the same thing before the tunnel has the same effect. On my first day I braked in a straight line and then steered, which was a huge mistake. I almost ruined the whole lap in the last corner (Thanks to R1 tyres 👎), but I saved it and could accelerate early enough out of that corner. No doubt that this time can be beaten, it just needs practise.

Like you can see I saved three laptimes with the same title (I thought I won't get better laptimes :dunce:), but the top one is the best one, so obviously I go with it. I've marked it red to avoid any confusion. :)

That was a extremely fast lap Nenad, the nsx looks as if its on R threes or R fours its very fast driving cool time dude. The set-up for this car is perfect very cool driving.

I can see where I've lost most of my time in that video. 👍 I'll be back on here later with some quicker splits to combat that time (maybe driving like a man instead of like a sook! :P).

Nice bar to be set though, this is going to be a close one between us all. :cool:
