I'm using a DS2 and the analog stick for throttle/brake. As my DFP stopped working now.Hey stidriver, do you use a wheel or a controller?
18.x and 36.x? Not happening no matter who you are. What tires you running speedy?
Edit: What direction. I could very well be wrong in my first comment.
Turnabout is fair play, sorry for my hasty/harsh response. Good to have you in man.Sorry, it appears I have made a huge mistake in not noticing it is GVE Reverse not normal direction.
I will go and try to get at least one lap done for each if time permits.
If I cannot get done in time just disregard entry.
Thanks.
Hey stidriver! Good to see you, even if you're going to beat us all
Quick question: I've been driving both cars this week, if I feel that the other one is faster, am I allowed to switch cars?
These sort of hiccups happen all the time.Sorry, it appears I have made a huge mistake in not noticing it is GVE Reverse not normal direction.

Ah, well at least someone got the gearing idea.
Look, I'm trying to do this as diplomatically as possible. I have people on both sides of this fence. I have well-respected types that can't stand number fudging, I have people who are flipping out just because it's Nenad (No, it's prolly not who you think). I have people who are skeptical but supportive, I have friends of both his and mine taking both sides... It's a mess. A serious mess. All because a kid in an NSX looks just a little too fast. Even on top of that Codename is embarrassingly fast, faster than the person in question, but did what was not even required and provided smooth proof of his feats.
I just want a better proof, Nenad. It's ease of mind and much less suspicious looking than what has been rolling about here as of late.
I will give the settings ago and see what I get. its for fun dudes:tup: and the gears ad up dudesThere is nothing wrong with the gearing. First Fianl, then Autoset, then individual gear ratios. That's how it has been done. I don't know why you are having problems with the gearing. Everything works fine here after the gearbox is reseted.
Number fudging? Are you serious? Whoever thinks that... Well, think what you want, the video is unedited. Flipping out just because it's me? Wow, and this is called democracy. Alright, this is just a symbol of envy. Okay, enough about this. I'd love to make a new video of my lap, but, as said before, I neither have a camcorder nor a mobile phone. Hope you got it now.

There's one thing wrong with it and it's the fact that you haven't given any instructions on how to do it. Using a tranny trick (yes, that's one version of it) isn't standard procedure for many people. The setup instructions shouldn't leave any chance for guessing. It's not cheating, however.
It's not envy, it's wondering how the hell that car can do it in your hands. Think of it this way. In the first tuning challenge race only two months ago you were seconds behind me, Jetboy, the "non-alien fast guys". Now you come up with a time that rivals and beats aliens, the first NSX splits were right in the ballpark for the level you showed in the earlier challenge. Something has changed between those runs and if it's your skill, good for you! You're not asked for a better quality video, just one that doesn't show the floor, the table and the ceiling at the critical moment when the tyres are shown on the screen.
I've tried the Landshark to see what the fuss is about. The setup bears a resemblance to my own "Amuse GT1" and it shares a common problem too: it understeers. Quite a lot, and in the wrong places. Which brings up the point that interests me the most, how can you be pulling +2G for long periods in several corners while I'm limited to 1.5-1.75G of constant lateral acceleration (a few +2G spikes included) with the very same car before the turning simply stops and the nose washes out? Laws of physics don't change according to the skills of the driver.
You can see that the first turn was subpar, that I hit too late of an apex in the turn entering the tunnel, and that the final corner could have been neater, but I was proud of all of the T1-T2 sector. I think that I found all of the correct lines there, as was reflected in my substantial gain over Jetboy. there.
