Well, i figured out the duplication cheat, I feel morally wrong that i did, but it doesnt change a thing. Im still a nice guy.

Am willing to trade any cars from my garage for any in my "interesting" list or any others ive missed out.

whew! saved from complete disaster. Pressed back a few times and luckily had yesterdays version there, copy pasted. I should make a backup. that was strange, i didnt accidentally cut all that off, it just happened by itself..
 
I have the Sauber Mercedes C9 in my UCD... I already have a Toyota GT1 and Minolta '89, but the Merc is sooooo tempting. And *only* 5.2 million! I didn't realize I could win the Toyota GT1 from the Lemans 24hr race, or I could've saved myself the cash... oh well, it'll take ages to get to that level anyways.

Also picked up a Viper SRT10 '03 in Viper Black, a Mugen S2000 '00, and a Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car.
 
IMO the MINOLTA is faster than the Sauber, but Sauber has a bit better handling, not enough to catch up with the MINOLTA though.
 
Just bought a Lister Storm V12 Race Car (about 2 million in the UCD)!

I notice it's not on any of your lists... I could let you borrow it, if I can figure out how to do that :D lol
 
Just raced my new XJ220 LM RC on deep forest, and I've gotta say, it's a completely different feeling than driving the Mclaren F1.
I was so frustrated with that one, but with the Jag it's a joy :)
It's just way more composed during all the driving, than the F1 is.
With the F1 I was almost 0.8 seconds slower than you, but with the Jag, I'm doing the same times as you. (1:08.6xx - can't remember what exactly)
Being a much calmer car, it's not as exiting to drive as the F1 though, but it's a damn good car nonetheless :)

Did you try racing GP/D yet? My Minolta lap record is 1:17.xxx so far. (can't remember exact time)
I think it's a good track, worthy of being testing grounds for anyone.
It's got plenty of turns - albeit not as overall curvy as deep forest - and some space for acceleration as well.
It's a pretty balanced track, though not as demanding as deep forest. Which I think makes for more consistent lap times. And it's not too long either.
Only minus I see is the chicane in the end (if you could call it that), which can be skipped entirely. But that could only be a problem when comparing different peoples lap times. As long as you drive legitimately yourself, there's no problem.

And btw, does anyone have some chrome silver they can send my way?
I want it for my XJ220 road car :)

The Jag is real nice. but i feel it shouldve had a bit more power. It was the fastest car in its day. 220mph. I dont think she can attain that speed in the game. Great/easy handling thats for sure.
The LM jag shouldnt be compared to the Mclaren F1 road car (different classes). still even if you do compare the GTR mclaren to the jag LM, the jag is much easier to drive, just not as fast.

I did look at GP/D. It just didnt have a long enough straight for me to choose it for testing. Wanted a track where a cars acceleration/top speed matters.
but i will practice on it soon. I pretty much neglected that track.

btw, ur mclaren time vs mine isnt much different. A 0.7 sec difference isnt much. could be attributed to driver error, or just braking slighlty more at some turn. A few more laps and you should be able to beat my time easy.

I dunno about that. The sauber achieved 384 Km/hr in 1.679 Km. Minolta achieved 374. w/p ratio is the same (-0.01)
The minolta will surprise u with her performance if u get a perfect lap, but i dont think shes discernibly faster. But not much slower either
Maybe initial acceleration might be faster. They really should have stats such as 0 to 100 etc, or a way to test it.

Am pretty satisfied with most roadcars in the deep forest test.
have to choose a track. need one with a nice straight.

OK, I'll figure it out and add you later on (just started a b-spec endurance before I go to work). You don't have to return it too quickly, as I have plenty of other cars in my garage to use until then.

And yes, I did buy the Sauber. It was too tempting :)

True, a bit more power wouldn't hurt. Especially since it was the record holder until the Mclaren F1 was introduced.
But yeah I know, they're not comparable, but it's the car I got after driving the F1 like crazy. And lap wise, they're pretty close :P
The F1 is truly a beast for its class. I won both Like The Wind races with it, without extra assists on (always use TCS 1, ABS 1, all else off), and I felt pretty good about beating cars of a much higher racing caliber ^^

Suzuka definitely, though honestly I don't see a problem with Deep Forest for those cars unless you just want more variety.

ive been thinking the same thing. I think deepforest gave a good comparison between those cars. Im a bit tired of testing too. So I'll just stick with the 3 tracks ive already tested on. Will add new cars whenever i get em.

ya, it is kinda sensitive, will punish you if you step over the line. need to be extra careful with the throttle. I dont remember my setup but i will say when i drive it i usually have to brake a little early. Driving line needs to be more precise. If you enter a corner wrong, she wont like it. Grip is slightly less (compared to lets say the CLK-GTR or zonda LM) but it is super fast and can give you great lap times. I expected her to be a bit better too, but she isnt bad where she is.

As I say, I've never done it before. Shouldn't be hard to figure out.

you dont have to do anything in the game until u decide to send the car.
