It's been a couple of days since you have updated it, Storm :)

Anyway, I just wanted to post my Le Mans test results here (so far). Thanks for the GT-ONE today, but my luck: It appeared in the UCD after the test drive of it, lol. By far the fastest of these cars so far!

I don't know if you had skid on when you tested them on La Sarthe, or if it was the one without chicanes, but my times are considerably slower.

Did you do this test with cars stock of full tuned ?
 
You should retune your Lambo's cause I can beat your times pretty easily, you just have to set the viscous diff, and the spring set up and they corner very well.

I'll give em another go, but im really not after setting the fastest lap times

still, i wouldnt mind checking out your setup, post it up and i'll happily test em out again.

didnt get time to do the F1 test today, but i did drive all 3 F1s for a few laps at nurburgring.
both those ferraris are kick ass! I really cant tell which one i like more. I love em both.
They are a perfect blend of grip and power. I wish they had one of the old unrestricted ferraris in the game.
initially, i was leaning towards the F2007, biased by its more powerful stats. but when you drive em, one after the other, there really isnt a huge difference. sure the F2007 is a little bit faster. top speeds arnt all that far off.
F2007 reached 338km/hr (default) on the long straight in nurburgring.
the F2010 did 324km/hr. To me both are alot of fun to drive. If i had a choice, id probably choose the F2010. La Sarthe shall show me the truth.

That turismo F1 really feels overpowered and sounds lame after driving the Ferraris.

I haven't gotten the Tesla yet, either. I'll probably save it for one of the last premiums I buy. If it sounds anything like the iMiev, I'm going to stuff pickles in my ears when I test it :D lol

I drove all 4 with my wheel. These cars are a bit difficult with the controller.
Only managed to test them in deepforest today. La sarthe is next

1 minute or more on La Sarthe... Probably 15 seconds on Deep Forest compared to the FGT, meaning a lap time 0.40.xxx or something like that.

Ran a bad 2.20.xxx on La Sarthe with Ds3, can probably be done in 2.05 or so :)

thats a really good call for the X1 vs the FGT (-15 sec deepforest).

Actually I tested these cars for BermudaKID's 1 hour Le Mans races, meaning that they all have less than 975bhp. In short, the Group C cars have no turbos, the LMPs have turbos. The Audi R8 is the best handling car and the easiest to drive online, so I'll probably rate it highest in overall.

Wow Storm, 4 seconds faster with a wheel with the FGT? Unbelievable. Hope I get an opportunity to set up my own G25 soon.

Btw, all the Formula cars' weight is 550kg, both F10, F07 and FGT. AND you have accidently placed the F07 better than the FGT, look at the times :)

The R8 LMS is amazing. that car drives soo easy.

that wheel/manual transmission really makes a difference. controllers really dont compare.
the fgt is a bit tough to control anyway, the controller just makes it more stressful and inconsistent.
X1 = impossible with controller, atleast for me.

good eye, fixed. Will edit in the F1 stats tomorrow.

Yea, X1 with controller is not impossible, but it's a huge handicap. I got gold in all the Vettel Challenge's track using my G25, but it's still the only car I have driven with my wheel so far... The wheel have the advantage that you can turn sharper AND you have, obvously, more control of the car.
 
So Storm, just a quick question - do you really believe the X2010 is the most fun car for yourself?

It certainly is a different type of beast. The reason I ask is because I find more fun driving the cars you have listed from the Nissan R89C RC'89 and below, even though their acc/brk/handling is not as high.
 
the X1 is alot of fun. cant deny that. I really enjoy driving it on sarthe. its pretty stressful to drive on small tracks. And obviously has no competition.

For me, its a novelty item, feels like a cheat car. Honestly, i dont really drive it at all when alone, its mostly driven when friends are over.

It is mind blowing, but overall useless.

Im gonna try to finish up the vettel challenge. hopefully it wont take all day.

why arnt u using ur wheel for the other cars? the controller really isnt all that much fun.

Because as I have mentioned before, I've got nowhere to put the wheel. The setup I used was rubbish, but neccessary for the Vettel Challenge.

And I agree, the X1 is not the car that is the most fun. I like road cars and the LMS, it's just a dream. Would love to get hands on the Team PlayStation one, it looks better. But atm I am focusing on LMP and Group C cars, with the Audi R8, Sauber and GT-ONE being fantastic cars.

beep beep...lol..i started it up twice to make sure i heard it right, didnt expect that. My personal bgm oddly stopped playing the first time i started it. Even ironmaiden was caught off guard :)

have you done any laps in the tank car? man, that car is massive! and shocking. if you really want a challenge, try to lap consistently quick with comfort hards :P
