I can lend you my Audi A4 Touring Car if you can return it after you use it or copy it (I'm not aware how to copy).

If it's ok with you, you can copy me an Amuse S2000 GTI Turbo (again, I can't return because I can't copy). But if not, it's also ok. I want to help you with your testing.

P.S. If you think it is fair, can you make it a XANAVI Nismo GT - R (instead of Amuse S2000 GTI Turbo)? If not, Amuse is ok.

Edit: The A4 is sent--enjoy! Return it when you're free. I have fun driving it that I repeat the DTM series just to use it. Anyway, when you can, I'd be grateful for a copy of the MercSauberC9. If not, then the Xanavi Nismo GT - R. Cheers!

btw, any chances of giving me a duplicated 787b for either:
1.Audi Le Mans Quattro Concept
2.Nissan Black Mask GTR
3.Nissan MOTEL AUTECH GTR (SUPER GT)
4.All of the above ( I will send you one each in any order you prefer as long as I get an 787b because I cant be bothered working for it by doing another 560 laps of the Indy superspeed Ring)

It's been a couple of days since you have updated it, Storm :)

Anyway, I just wanted to post my Le Mans test results here (so far). Thanks for the GT-ONE today, but my luck: It appeared in the UCD after the test drive of it, lol. By far the fastest of these cars so far!

I don't know if you had skid on when you tested them on La Sarthe, or if it was the one without chicanes, but my times are considerably slower.
 
ya, it has been a while. Got myself a G27 so ive been practicing, trying to get good on it. So far im not even close to the times i get with my controller. improving everyday though. and trying to collect as many cars as i can for the next update.

interesting results.. Im surprised to see the R89C at 7. It looks odd there :) Definately corners alot better than the R8, faster and more predictable than the minolta. I think she can beat a few of the ones above her. It topped both my deepforest and sarthe tests. I want to see what youll do with the R92CP and the hybride

That and the GT1 is kinda surprising. super fast and great handling, i felt her cornering wasnt as tight as the sauber, 787b, R89C, just because of her speed. still a great LMP. Minolta looks fine there. Once in a while itll give u a perfect lap that'll beat all other cars. Its a bit inconsistent with me. which one is ur personal "best" so far?

SRF is on and its Sarthe with chicanes. The bigger difference in time is probably due to the length of the track. In deep forest i would get a 1 to 3 sec difference between my srf and no srf times. This track is 3 times as long (i think) Its probably logical to assume that the advantage gained by srf increases proportionally.
 
Once you get used to the wheel I'm sure your driving will improve. I gota G25 myself, but nowhere to put it though - have only had a temporary setup when I golded the Vettel Challenge.

My personal favorite is the R8 in 2nd place. It's very easy to drive compared to the others, BUT the fact is that the GT-ONE is much faster than the others and would probably beat them everytime :)

I can't get the R89C to drive properly. Maybe it's a setup thing, but it's back-end is skid happy and it's very hard to get it right around the corners perfectly. The R89C and the BMW are the hardest to control so far, have a feeling however that the Pescarolos are worse than those ...

And another thing about the R89C: It looks ugly - they didn't get the graphics right on this one... :yuck:

I found that you had better lap times with the slower cars but I had faster times with the faster cars. It was odd to me but them may be it is because you use a controller and not a wheel. I use the DFGT wheel and I found that it makes the faster cars easier to drive on the the edge.

This is a good reference for me and my friends to use when racing each other, if someone uses a car then others can use a car that has similar lap times, thanks for all your work.

yup i used a controller for these tests. What youre saying about the faster cars is probably true. Some of them are a handful especially in deepforest.

I use my list to choose similarly performing cars for races aswell, just like u mention:tup:
 
ok, am planning 2 more tests.

-Classic Race cars @ La sarthe (330p4, Xj13, chappy 2d, gt40 etc)

-Formula 1 cars @ La Sarthe (Ferrai F1s, Turismo F1 and X1 vettel)

next update should be a big one. Have about 15 interesting cars left to collect. Will test em all in one go, once i collect em and make enough money to mod em.
This should be the final update too.

I dont think there are any "cool" cars ive left out. If u notice any missing from my list, write me a comment and i'll add em.

ya, gonna get the bentley and 905 in a couple o trades.
odd, i remember having them in the list. Mustve accidentally deleted some cars while editing. thanks for looking out. will add em to the "crossed out" cars.


btw all, i was looking up how to play my own race bgm. everyone on here says that the new update 1.05 automatically resets it to default music after every race. so no point.
It does that, if u dont deselect all the default songs. Which is a pain but it seems to work. Hope this helps and isnt old news.

i should post this on those threads i saw earlier.
 
if you need a 905 or speed 8, I would dontate to the cause...like to pick up a toyota GT or whatever is 2nd or 3rd on your list as it matures... :)

I can't wait to see your results for the Citroen GT Race Car. I love that thing! Not the fastest on the block, but damn it handles well.

The RC is petrol (and less horses). But yeah, I've been refreshing your thread waaay too much :).

I need to know if you think its worth the $2mil getting dropped on the electric after driving the Citroen RC GT

the concept is electric. i dont like that.

havent driven the concept in quite some time. but from what i can barely remember, its definitely not as good as the RC.

the RC is really nice, really great responsive handling. and acceleration.
I lapped nurburgring 5 times with it as soon as i got it yesterday as a trade. didnt want to stop driving her. i think its for 5.6 mil. worth it? it is a bit pricey, u could get a 787b for the same price. still, i dont think any collection would be complete without it.

concept: for 2 mil, its not bad. objectively it is a pretty good car. i wont like it now that ive driven the RC.

If ur choosing between the 2, Id say leave out the concept and get the RC if ur looking for a better car.
 
I won the RC version for Dream Car Championship in Extreme B-Spec. But yeah, perhaps I should spend my $2mil on something else. Start saving for a 787B :)

I can definitely go faster in other cars, but I keep coming back to the Citroen RC - its such a monster, and looks the business too. Batman would be jealous, and he'd never catch me.
