Is there anyway to download the pictures I save on the Ubisoft website or do I have to take screenshots and download from the Xbox DVR site?
The Ubisoft site is a hassle, to be honest. I'm sure you'd find it easier to do it through those DVR sites, and I'm also betting there'll be less compression.

Right, I guess I'll stick to the DVR then.

Apparently I've found myself doing more dirt events than any other events in the game as I'm at 65% while the other events are in the 40% range.

To be honest, I thought the off-road events where pretty fun to do, over most of the other disciplines I’ve tried so far, although I’m still only on the first tier for most of the events.

Yeah, I was loving the Rally Cross events, the Rally Raid events have been quite fun and easy to do. Seriously, I've done most of the events with the Mercedes X-Class you can win at the start of the game. So far, it's the only raid vehicle I needed. I recently bought a dirt bike and started those motorcross events. They're uncharted territory for me, but they were still fun to do.

Really, I haven't played a game with dirt bikes since I was a kid playing one dirt bike game at my friend's house. I forgot the name of that game though. All I know is that one arena had a shark tank in the middle of it.

Try grinding either of the first two Air Race events (the ones that have a recommended performance level of 100) for parts, I found them easy even with the Pilatus. Once you are around performance level 170 or so, the plane should start to loosen up and feel more controllable.

Also when doing flying upwards to do a rollover, use extreme mode to make the transition much quicker.
That does help a lot. I don't even have to worry about time penalties if I'm 30 seconds ahead.

From what I have heard on the Devs livestream is that more changes into the Hypercar AI is in progress but an uneasy fix and will take some "time"
But the biggest thing they have said their working on is exploits.

Are we going to see our first set of free cars soon?

I hope they fix the rubberbanding.

Any word when one of the other homes will be made available? Really want the Vegas house, it would be nice to have something on the other side of the map.

Season Pass has a house in LA.
But there is no word on any other places.
Even though they have 2 others rendered and ready.

Hard to justify the $40 price though, the exclusive vehicles are nice but not enough of them to want to pay $40, would rather save up for an expansion instead.

After just playing quite a bit, I finally dove into the drag racing. I tried doing hypercar races with the Ferrari 458 Speciale I was given, but I was only able to win 1 race. They're too hard for me at the moment, I kept missing turns and slamming into trees. Not just that, but I think my controller's left joystick isn't working right. :(

Faulty hardware aside, I think I have played this game long enough to form a full opinion on it. I'll put them in the spoilers box below.
Pros:
- Great car selection, it managed to extend the car selection in multiple categories over the first game.
- Being able to choose multiple avatars.
- More light-hearted tone is a huge improvement imo over the gritty and "edgey" storyline from the first game.
- It's more focused in the kind of game it wants to be. It has each vehicle type separated into 4 big categories rather than being all over the place.
- Money earning for cars is a huge improvement over the original. The fact you can even earn extra money on the side from taking pictures of animals and monuments is a plus. 👍
- The new vehicle types were an unexpected surprise, but I found myself enjoying them.
- I like the lighting more than in the first game.
- Great variety of events for multiple vehicle types. You can do tricks with monster trucks and airplanes, street race, circuit race, or race on the water.
- Improved driving physics, cars fell less likely to slip up and I feel I can be more precise with the driving this time around.
- I can adjust my driving setup, which is always a plus. Though I keep forgetting that I can do that, I've only adjusted my deadzone so far.

Cons:
- Rubberband AI annoyingly continues in this game and it's WORSE than the first game. It doesn't matter how much I upgrade my car, the AI will magically keep up. In which takes away the satisfaction and drive to upgrade the car. I honestly got really angry at some races due to this.
- The graphical textures for the world are at points a downgrade from the first game, something I found when seeing comparisons online. Not a big flaw with the game as I've spent most of my time driving around.
- Minor flaw: Unskippable cutscenes in the Xtreme Series events. I don't like having to sit through that cutscene over and over again when resetting a race there.
- Some of the features from the first game aren't present such as the PVP races. I also can't travel to any road discovered anymore like I could in the first game. On the bright side, I can still instantly travel to any event I want to in order to get somewhere.
- Loading times in some cases are kinda bad. For those big crashes along with going into photo mode; the load times are indeed longer than I'm used to. I think the game needs some optimization.
- I can't remap the control settings on my port of the game (Xbox One). I hear the PC version it can be done, so I don't understand why they didn't do it for the Xbox port aswell.
- The collision physics are inconsistant, I can easily get into a huge crash causing my car to b restart. However, the A.I. aren't affected when it happens to them.

Nitpicks that don't matter much (probably, I dunno):
- During sunsets in races, the sun gets in my eyes (like in real life) and makes if difficult to see what's coming.
- I don't think the shortcuts are easy enough to spot, I've skipped a few of them. Of course, that could have been because I gotten tired from playing the game for a long time.
- I don't like that some drag races are set on strips with curves.

Overall:
The game is still a big improvement over the first Crew, but it still has its own share of flaws that sometimes ruin the fun. Despite the flaws however, I still find the game to be a huge blast to play through. It's become a really addicting game to play, even with the limited number of cars I've been using. I hope that Ivory Tower in the future fixes some of these problems in later updates, but I'm still happy with the game overall. Though, I'm also glad I didn't pay extra for the gold edition. It's honestly not worth getting that imo. If I were to tell my friends about it, I would say by the standard edition to be safe or wait for a sale months down the line.

They are adding PVP in an update (probably the September one).

I'm a little unhappy I bought the full game for $130 canada, and it turns out the season pass is "pointless". Could somebody tell me why the extra $50 was worth it? Other than getting 3 days early.. Seriously. Actually serious.

I like the game though.

You get extra vehicles for the disciplines, an extra house by Los Angeles, small discounts for purchases and you get car/expansion packs free.

The drag racing reminds me of the drag race events in NFS Pro Street. Also, I recently just beat Wade and Tuck in the dirt division. It took me a million of tries to beat wade, because of all of the stuff in the way near the end. This is why I don't often like racing in the woods, I keep crashing into trees.

I'm now taking on Tio and going to try earning the Mclaren P1.

I would really like a future enhanced graphics patch like there was on the first Crew to increase the level of detail close up. The cars, weather and scenery look outstanding racing from a distance but zoom on photo mode and very similar to the first crew there are too many jaggies and it takes time to tweak around the settings etc. After just playing AC and recently brought FarCry I know they can make this excellent level of detail like these 2 games.

I'm enjoying all the Bike races and the Off Road as well. If i'm honest I'm struggling with some of the races even on normal, also the acrobats in the planes, I just can't seem to get used to the controls. I keep switching views and back to cockpit view in a plane but now not sure again. I enjoy flying them around, it is just the accuracy to glide them through those markers :yuck:

I don't understand why so many people have problems with flying planes. For me it is perfectly smooth and easy.

My theory is that it is easier to fly plane with minimal deadzone in steering on controller. Lowering deadzone to 0 on controller makes the plane very unstable. (game doesn't register loops properly for example) and lot's of people are doing this in control settings.

I feel as though the season pass is more valuable for those who want to build a car collection and minimise the grinding process, so it is essentially a time savers pack. The biggest draws of the season pass in the long term are the 20% discount on all items and having instant access to post-launch vehicles, 22 of which are covered by the season pass.

Also, the latter could prove to be another benefit to season pass holders if the additional cars end up being priced higher compared to their existing counterparts.

Beat Sofia and Clarence. IMO, they were the easiest of the disciplines. Freestyle took 3 attempts, but that was from my errors. And luckily the Pro Racing took only 1. Now just gotta do the Grand Finale.

Ahh Tio..

The race where I combined the powers of the Ford GT and the Ford GT in one race.
I'm still on it!

I keep crashing into traffic or crashing into a fence near the end of the race. This game is basically reminding me why one of my biggest pet peeves is traffic in racing games. I can't see it coming, so I end up ramming a van or something.

I don't understand why so many people have problems with flying planes. For me it is perfectly smooth and easy.
It's not easy for me as I'm not use to playing flying games. The airplane has a control set that's different from a car that takes me quite a bit of time to get use to. Heck, I'm still not use to it yet. It comes down to me having to remind myself constantly that I can't just move the analog stick around to make the plane steer.

I haven't played any flying games since I was a kid playing Sky Odyssey or trying my dad's Combat Flying Simulator titles on his computer.

EDIT: I did it! I finally beat Tio and won the Mclaren P1! 2 more disciplines to beat!

I beat Tio in one go, mainly because my 2006 Ford GT was already at 280 performance.

In that case, I won convincingly is one hell of an understatement.

What? How? I was using a Ferrari 458 Speciale and a Ford Mustang GT upgraded to 292 perf.

Man, then I truly am awful at arcade racing games.
