I look forward to trying this build when the car comes around . I just started playing a month ago but have a very large collection but have yet to see this vehicle. Any idea when the last time it was available for purchase?
no. i don't know, but i think every 2 or 3 month; they are usually revived during that time frame

I updated the suspension a bit,I made the rear anti roll 10 and hardened up the front suspension by one so that the rear isn’t as loose as it was.

Alfa Touring Berlinetta ‘38.Well it’s not going to win the straight line speed race, but I think it has a chance with a lot of luck winning the Le Mans 30 min race. It has low down grunt which will suit it to tracks like Goodwood and Brands Hatch.Given its age it handles remarkably well and is gentle on tyres, but fuel economy is poor but that’s to be expected with such an old cat, that said it’s fun to drive and sounds great.

In my opinion the last of the truly beautiful Ferraris the 365 GTB4.It’s quite a good car to tune, you get just over 4 laps of fuel and tyres not really an issue. As with the older cars it sounds awesome.

Bigmull - any tips on Classic VW beetle sets ups with engine swap ? - i prefer to run them without the ugly rear wings or front spoiler, but they are very skittish especially when the tyres are new/cold

I have tweaked the Ferrari Mondial. You can now do the 700pp Le Mans race on a set of Racing Soft Tyres,it’s been lowered a bit and the gears are a bit shorter but you will still get 5.5 laps of fuel. I really do like this little car!
Morning all! :)

@bigmull

Just to let you know this tune is mental... and I love it!! I'm using the RS version and it handles amazing!

Oh, and the sound!? My ears are still bleeding!!!

TY and chat soon! 👍

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I use controller with no assists, only ABS. The car is super grippy even with no assists...

I did do a tune for the engine swapped Beetle a bit back and ran it at Goodwood and left it at that, I will revisit it tonight for you.

I looked at it last night and it’s going to need a couple of days to get it sorted,It’s OK in a straight line but just plain refuses to turn enough. I don’t know if it’s the suspension or a lack of weight in the front end it just doesn’t like low speed turning. I will try and sort it without having a front spoiler.

i had the same problem when i put aftermarket/wider wheels on or i might have lowered it too much - not sure

I had the same thought so I raised it but it still wouldn’t turn in the first complex at Le Mans, I am thinking it is a weight issue as all the weight is in the rear,so the front lifts under acceleration and it shifts to the rear on uphill areas so making the front lift. I think the rear suspension compression needs to be harder to counteract this,I should have done it by tonight or tomorrow.

The Iconic 1960’s car, the Mini Cooper S. The problem with this car is lack of grip and wheel spin when you swap the Engine to the Honda Civic one and tyre wear with the added power. To that end this tune has very few tuning parts. This approach gives you a competitive car that has 4+ laps on a set of RM Tyres and a top end speed of 160+ mph with very little wheel spin.

It’s going to take me a little longer to sort it out, I am going to start with a clean car and take it from there.

Hi Doc,
Do you have a tune the Merc for the 460LP human comedy?
Perhaps without permanent upgrades (20M car :-)
I spent the credits, because I would like to race the same car as Mr. Hizal ;-)

Thanks and regards
M
